You WILL get old and will be faced with the challenge of finding satisfaction in life as an older man. Those sad old men lurking in bars haven't yet figured out how to negotiate that challenge.

If somebody liked the guy enough to post a positive review, why would you think less of it if he doesn't acknowledge it?

There are so many things wrong with paying a guy by check, from either viewpoint, that I won't try to go into it. I paid by Venmo once. Otherwise, always cash.

Of course it happens - i know for a fact.

I have made small loans to friends and family. I always insisted that they sign a note - and I always got repaid. Once, my mother asked for a largish loan - to pay tuition for my brother and sister in private schools. Since their state had perfectly good public schools - I told her "no," hard thing to do, but I knew I would never get repaid.

Not Jewish myself, but I worked for a kosher caterer. Most of our jobs were at an affluent ortnodox synagogue in the suburbs. They had a huge main kitchen that was ultra-kosher - actually two separate kitchens - meat and dairy. But this synagogue was so big that they had a couple satellite kitchens - which were kosher enough - a single kitchen with meat on one side of the kitchen and dairy on the other side. But the satellite kitchens weren't kosher enough for Passover - during Passover, they were closed and locked - nobody could go in them.

It seems like a Jewish deli could serve mac and cheese and keep kosher.

In this part of the country - almost any supermarket has it.

I have a good sense of time - I usually know, within 5 or 10 minutes or so, what time it is. I just know when I have about 15 minutes left on the clock - time enough to dress after a quick shower. So. I'm the clockwatcher.

Unfortunate you experienced my response as "tart." What I was going for was to point out the tough spot you are putting would-be responders in.

You really think you'll get any responses? No one would want to admit to being a clockwatcher, but they also wouldn't want to raise a possible client's expectations.

Prior to meeting my husband, I had been in a few relationships that were all short-lived - the longest was a few months and I would characterize them all as flirtations or infatuations. I think a fine gold chain with a tiny cross on a guy with a great chest is over-the-top sexy. But chains in general are sexy. There is a guy on youtube, not a provider, but incredibly sexy, who wears a heavy chain on one wrist (his channel is called "chainbaker"). I swoon over him every time I watch one of his vids.

I was getting a generic from India - I think $75 for 90 days. This was back before it became so affordable in the US. I don't think I would bother with getting it offshore now.

That's generally the goal with professional services - more revenue from "rocks" and just filling in gaps with "pebbles."
