I stopped in on the Monday after the Palm Springs meeting, about six weeks ago. Still going strong, but on a Monday night 10PM there was only myself and one other patron. Four dancers, so I was spoilt for choice - my recent favorite, King ( pocket sized guy ) and another Latino youngster - forget his name, but definitely a soccer player judging by the booty, kept me in th VIP area most of the night. Well worth the visit!

A dancer there told me long ago, the garter was considered their "costume", and satisfied the legal requirements.

Growing upon the farm, we had a border collie who would take up the nursing of the barn cat kittens, after their mom would take off, or become coyote chow. Gotta see if I can find  somewhere a pix of Dody and her feline charges!

Plus one for the Cosori - I inherited one when Mom changed over to some countertop oven thing, but I find myself using the Cosori almost daily. Since I just cook for myself now, it's dong almost almost everything I need to cook, except stove top soups/ marinara.

According to the latest regulations in Palm Springs concerning the virus, there are none.  They expired last Monday, March 1.  Masks and proof of vaccination are no longer required.  However, individual businesses may still have their own conditions.  None of the places we will use do.
Meanwhile let me hear from you if you have not already responded as to whether you will attend.  I will be sending specific information in a couple of weeks.

I have a Cosori. It's awesome. The name is such a misnomer. It's really just a small convection oven. If you're cooking for one or two it's quite useful. While the basket part is easy to clean, the machine itself is much more difficult to clean well. That's the only problem I have with it.
Lots of great YT videos on using them for all sorts of things.

Used to be, the hot guys from NC and SC would  go dance at Swinging Richards in Atlanta for the weekends, head back home to the Carolinas after making their cash - that pattern is sure to change now that SR isn't an option for income any longer.

The beauty of our nation is our free market system - if Adele thinks a VIP seat is worth 30k, and a person thinks an evening at an Adele performance has 30k of value to them, bingo - capitalism! If Kroger thinks they can get $4.99 for a loaf of bread, that's their business model - but my choice will be to decline participation in that transaction.

Don't get so concerned about the other patrons when you're out in a club - you're there to have a great time and that will always be evident to the dancers. If there's a New York lawyer spending his quarterly bonus on the same night you happen to stop in, he'll get attention, sure. But, you money is the same green color, and, surprise, some performers will enjoy being around a respectful, happy, and fun client. A night out is what you make of it, enjoy yourself!

Yer talkin' two different experiences here- you really should try both, if at all possible! Boxers is more of a "hillbilly holiday", while Richard's is a showcase of beefy and gay-for-pay eye candy, both worth a visit in my opinion. Atlanta's plus is that you can run over to Cheshire Bridge and check out the guys at BJ Roosters (not nude, but cute in their own way)

Time to check in with the local clubs and their approach to the resumption of the mask mandates- Oregon now has masking in any indoor public place, probably until year-end. However, the social distancing seems to have become less important, neither club this week emphasized anything more than masks. On Wednesday, Stag was a little quiet, tho I was there kinda early. Both clubs have resumed per-pandemic schedules, with Stag being 9:30 to 2AM nightly except Mondays, and Silverado having dancers 10:00 to 2AM daily, but no Sunday matinee yet. Talking with Stag's manager Ali (Aladdin), they've decided to add armed security at the door, to keep some of the "Portland Crazy" at bay over the fall/winter. Expansion into the old "Window Bar" space next door is on hiatus until the health crisis is settled. Cover charge on Friday and Saturday (Silverado has this also). Masks are worn except when actively drinking or eating, and you'll be reminded to follow this mandate- more subtly at Stag, but the emcee at Silverado will rag on you over the mic about it, and call you out by description-" Hey, black tee and jorts, pull up yet effin mask!"
The mix of dancers seems to have settled into the pre-CO pattern, with the guys at Stag being younger and more emo/thin, and the bigger guys at Silverado. The most interesting guy at Stag this night was River, a 22-year old blond with shaggy long hair (surfer-style) and amazing glutes. Even Ali got on stage for a couple sets, to keep his "skin" in the game, so to speak. About 6 guys on a  midweek night, but some of the old regulars have moved on unfortunately. Que sera sera. Ali tells me that he's really trying to hire gay dancers, to move to a more sophisticated experience- time will tell how it works out.
Thursday at Silverado was a different theme altogether- a fairly crowded downstairs bar and stage, a mixed crowd of young and old, kinda felt like maybe the old ways might be able to make a comeback. Unfortunately, many of the younger patrons couldn't bring themselves to mask up, and the incessant nagging by the staff to do so cast a downer vibe, IMHO.  About 8 dancers in the rotation, most getting full nude at some point in their set. One of the guys would constantly smack his sizeable dick against his tipping bucket, knocking it over and spreading the growing contents of dollar bills all over the stage- first time I've ever seen that schtick! The guys are a mix of big and small, Covid bellies are starting to get worked off, lots of abs on display YAY! I'm not quite ready for lap dances yet, but there was a lot of others partaking that night.
All in all, a pleasant couple of evenings catching up with friends an gossiping about oldtimers and meeting new dancers. Maybe there is hope for these places after all!
