Is it really "anything goes" in Australia's Northern Territory?
Bargara Leatherboy replied to a topic in The Lounge
When I was a child in Victoria Australia, the open road limit was unlimited, BUT you did have to drive at a speed that was safe. If you were stopped by the police you had to prove that you were driving at a safe speed to the conditions. I do remember when they dropped the limit to 100 km on the open rd, 60 km in the burbs. Many suburban streets are now 50 km, and school zones are 40 km. There are some freeways that are 110 km and even a few country roads that are not freeways that have a 110 km limit. Where I live in Western Sydney my local freeway heading to the city is 110k at my end, then goes down to 100 k then 90k then even 80k. To complicate matters there are variable speed signs all the way, which can be lowered electronically by the Traffic Management Control, and they often do when the traffic is heavy, weather is bad, or if there are road workers or emergency workers on the roadway. You have to be very aware. Some of our major highways like the Pacific Highway between Sydney and Brisbane, the speed changes constantly, so 100 to 110 then back to 100 then down to 80 back to 110. It’s annoying, but cruise control is your saviour !!!! -

I have no idea, its always been called a period. what do you call it in other countries. “Period” is rooted in the Greek words “peri” and “hodos” (periodos) meaning “around” and “way/path.” This eventually turned into the Latin “periodus” meaning “recurring cycle.” Use of the English term “period” to describe menstruation began in the early 1800s (1). These euphemisms are found in texts spanning millennia. -

Lots of ignorant people have said and written lots of comments about me, some are true, some are urban legends set in stone, and some are just plain old funny , and then there is the really crazy ones who fail to realise that I was brought up rather than dragged up. Now I am guessing you do not understand Aussie humour, but mike carey does, we don’t use the term “period“ for the “dot“ at the end of a sentence, we refer to it a a full stop, we do hang around to some of our old English traditions here, all those convicts who settled our nation brought those traditions with them. A period is Aussie is what woman use feminine hygiene products for. Anyway Samhexum, we have not been formally introduced, so be a gentleman and do the decent thing, then you will really qualify to take the piss out of me, in a true blue fashion ..... and then you can bag out my poor grammar, (or how I chose to use it to piss you off) among other things on your journey to discover what a dead set top bloke I am - you may eventually qualify to be my best mate -
I have a roll top desk that was my Dads, and a grandmother clock that was my grandparents. My father tells the story of when the box arrived in the house, my grandparents lived in Suva Fiji, so it arrived in the house after a sea journey from Sydney Australia, my uncle and aunt were hoping the box contained a wind up gramophone, being around 1925. The clock hung in my parents house all my life, regardless of where we lived, so I was happy to have it, and will pass it onto my nieces or nephews when i pass

How crazy. People who criticise my spelling or grammar on social media drive me to distraction. I always respond with did you understand - therefore i was successful at communicating with you .... the people who made this decision sound very anal to me -

I have wonderful memories of Kiri Te Kanawa singing in indoor concerts in both Wellington and Auckland, and one in the Hunter Valley outdoors north of Sydney, but outdoor concerts tend to attract people who are not classical fans, it become more about sharing some wine and chatting than listening to the Prima Donna -
I was spanked at school and at home, and certainly did not enjoy it. However now I do love a good spanking session.

Auckland is just a city, its beauty is the harbour and the gulf islands. Christchurch is quite charming, but that was before the devastation of the earthquakes, and Christchurch is still recovering, with infrastructure etc. Wellington is worth a visit, and in the South Island well there is just so much to choose from. Lake Tekapo, Wanaka, Queenstown, Milford and Doubtful Sounds, Hamner Springs, Nelson -

Gisborne or Gizzy as the locals call it, is a delightful place. Remote even by New Zealand standards, and really just a small town on the east coast. Great beaches and rugged inland landscape. Best approached from around East Cape. Lake Waikaremoana is worth a visit -
I always ask how they provider prefers payment when setting up the meet
-
The only things I use for cash these days, is the social club at work which has a table full of bad things to eat, like chocolates, sweets, (candy) chips etc, the Vietnamese bread shop which only takes cash, and the provider who prefers cash. For everything else I use American Express, or Visa/MasterCard for all those wonderful Frequent Flyer points. I dream about the time I can travel again and have a huge bank of points to use. I used to take out $400 cash every fortnight, and these days I still withdraw $400 when I go to an ATM but my visits to an ATM are few and far between. I have got in the habit of having enough to for my next appointment with a provider tucked away, as I always seemed to be pushing time to get to an ATM on my way to an appointment. I don’t have any issues with a paper trail, as sex work is legal in Australia

The family-owned funeral home is a dying industry
Bargara Leatherboy replied to samhexum's topic in The Lounge
My husband has worked as a funeral celebrant and with a couple of small family run funeral companies. He has done everything from arranging to body collection, body preparation, etc. In Australia we have lots of funeral companies but many are owned by an American Company called Invocare (https://www.invocare.com.au/). This company owns many brands, Simplicity, White Ladies, Guardian etc. They work out of warehouses, and there is no continuity of customer service. So your arranger wont be at the funeral, the staff working the funeral will have not met the family, might not have got the notes for what you want, may forget important things like flowers to place on the coffin during the service etc etc etc etc. I have been to many funerals in the last 15 years, some I have worked as an extra when the business has needed an extra pair of hands, I know a well run funeral when I see it. I have sat at funerals of friends loved ones, who have chosen to use another company like the ones mentioned above, and been embarrassed for them when little things go wrong. there is not dress rehearsal, only the one off performance, and everyone deserves a well run funeral. Also these companies charge a fortune, we used to charge lets say $5K for a basic but respectful service, a decent looking casket, without ripping off the family, and we made a reasonable profit on them too. The other companies mentioned might charge 10-15 or even 20K for the same service. Work it out for yourself. Newspaper notice are expensive in Australia, we always charged the family the exact amount charged to us by the newspaper, we would pass the invoice onto them. A standard notice would cost about 250-300. A colleague of mine had a charge for her dads for 1200. One phone call or fax to the newspaper and you charge a fee of 900. Nice money if you can make it!!! So if you have to arrange a funeral for a loved on, be careful who you choose and get everything in writting -
May he enjoy the great rainbow lounge in the sky with lots of delicious hot men

there are times when size can be important, but not very often. I have two memorable experiences, one with a man with a very small dick, he was one of the best lovers I have ever been with, it was like he made up for his lack of penis size with better than average skills everywhere else. we did not do anal, but I left very satisfied and with great memories. Another is a nice when I was at KKK (Ken’s Karate Klub) a very well known and popular bathhouse in Sydney. I was cruising a very good looking guy in his early 20‘s he was very much lacking confidence, anyway eventually i got him into a cubicle, and when i removed his towel and went down on what was a small soft cock, I was very surprised as he grew to a very decent 8 inches. I told him that hard, he was bigger than most men there that night, and to never be ashamed of what he had between his legs. I hope he took my advice. I have always believed its not what you have its what you do with it, that really counts. As for surgery, I would never consider it, as the risks of it not working are too great

What Kind of Milk Did You Drink Growing Up vs What You Drink Now?
Bargara Leatherboy replied to rvwnsd's topic in The Lounge
Growing up I drank ordinary full cream milk, that was the only kind. It was delivered to the door, in glass bottles. there were a few years when a smart doctor kept me off milk, due to chest infections. I have drank very little milk since then, black coffee and tea, maybe some in cereal, but the most of my diary consumption would have been in cheese and ice cream. Fast forward 50 years and I get diagnosed as lactose intolerant, wish I knew that when I was 5, and now that I totally understand that, I only touch plant based milks, so soy or oat or almond. I dont drink milk straight, but if i need to add milk that’s what I use, or coconut milk in Asian cooking. I even prefer to soak my Oat‘s for my Bircher muesli in apple juice. -
Strong, Powerful Earthquake Hits North New Zealand
Bargara Leatherboy replied to + WilliamM's topic in The Lounge
I lived in New Zealand for a number of years, growing up, and most New Zealanders are pretty blase about earthquakes. They are part of life, and they take them in their stride. However the bigs ones in Christchurch certainly had a big impact, and I am sure plenty of people are rattled. North Americans and Europeans deal with snow and blizzards every year, Kiwis deal with earthquakes -

when I read this thoughts went immediately to a classic piece. A great blazer or jacket that he can wear for year, something that would look great with jeans or casual pants, and can be dressed up for something more business like or formal. Maybe a really good leather jacket. Maybe some great accessories like a Hermes belt or a great pair of handmade shoes. Depends on the guy and what you want to achieve with the gift. I do like the suggestions of sexy wear, maybe a nice harness or leather jock strap, sorry that’s my fetish thoughts coming to the fore

When i am holiday (think tropical) I normally get a massage at night, i prefer the oil or cream on my skin after a day in the sun. regardless of the HE or not!!! Most often its not with HE. At home it depends when I can fit a massage into my schedule. Being a shift worker, my schedule is all over the place, but some of my memorable massage and escort sessions have been mid morning to late morning. However saying that a great massage can happen at any time of the day or night, for the physical and emotional benefits

Worst job, for me it was during a summer off from University, working in a large bottle shop - the working conditions were pretty, bad, the colleagues were yobbos and management was woeful. It was closely matched by a job I had making appointments for an insurance sales man. Working alone in an office, making phone calls no one wanted to take. But then there was the one I had first week out of High school, working for a Life Insurance company, owned by the Govt, and I was placing a rubber stamp on the account cards, so the information could be captured as they were moving to a computer based system. 6 months later - and the system changed so i spent 2 months stamping cards for no purpose. I did however get paid good money and met some great people, one of whom I am still friends with today. Looking back on 45 years of employment, very few of the jobs I had were much fun, the people made them fun, and even today that’s true. Some of the people you work with are total ass holes - but the best job is the side gig I have, coaching people on how to lose weight, improve their health and lifestyle, while using clean products that are good for the environment as well . Looking back, I have never been without a job, and never taken govt assistance, and at age 60 have a reasonable amount to retire on, and own our own house and have no car loans, just a bit of credit card debt. So it has not been all bad

I had an incredible massage with a muscle bound Aussie who was living and working in Bangkok, on my last visit to Bangkok. He seemed to go all the way with regular clients, anyway, he asked in advance what i would like him to be wearing, i said a joke, so when he stripped off he had a well filled yellow laced jock on, and when it came to the HE moment for me, he suggested I feel his jock , he did not remove it, but I did shoot a memorable explosion
