I live in an Apple World at home, but at work I have to use Windows and find it just a struggle. Everytime there is an upgrade there are new pathways to learn, with less and less education or guidelines to assist. I hot desk so I have a profile that follows me around, saving a document is easy, but where does it get stored, sometimes its on this computer, but the next time i am at work, I am at a different consult, so where is my document? As a consumer I would never purchase a Microsoft or Windows product from choice, surely this domination and dictatorial approach will have some commercial implications? Or is Microsoft so powerful it just does not care

I used to do a lot of recruitment, in a previous role. We always recruited in pairs, and I know that my bias would make an appearance, and i would defeat my bias by focusing on the interview, and making sure that the decision we were making was based on what was good for the company and my focus was always how can we make this candidate successful. I remember one interview here the candidate appeared to be a non starter when he walked in the room, i was interviewing with a colleague and we both pressed him for responses, and asked more probing questions to his inadequate responses. After the interview we both made extensive notes as to why he was not successful. i know when i moved to the public sector, and a panel had to be gender balanced, and always a third person from another govt department, I remember applying for a promotion, and not getting an interview. Only one applicant was interviewed, which is so not part of the policy. Should have interviewed someone who was not going to be any good to justify the promotion of the successful candidate. Needless to say she was never any good at the job, but amazing how someone can get ahead by brown nosing the boss or maybe giving him blowies under his desk. I would always endeavour to be very fair about how I interviewed , but your plan for your candidate may work, if she can interview well and has the background and experience for the role

As someone who has been large most of his life, I had a period where I walked a lot and swam a lot and was very trim, but that did not last. I feel good about myself , self love is important, but I also am smart enough to know its not attractive to some, and of course there are the health issues. The heaviest I got to was 320 pounds and currently i am slowly loosing and at 275 today. When i see a new provider I always send a description, in a email or text message, “I am a 60 year blonde bear 275 pounds looking for …..” and take it from there. If someone says does not work for me - I thank them for the honesty and move on. I have a couple of great providers who make me feel great, and we have a fun time exploring pleasure. I could go to a bathhouse, pay my $25 and wander around all night, maybe get lucky, maybe get rejected, maybe end up in a cubicle giving myself a hand job. Or I could spend $300-$600 with a provider and have a wonder couple of hours . A lesson there for providers who are looking to improve their business. I reflect back on an evening i spent in a gay B&B which was closing optional. As an Aussie with a holiday home in Bali, I am very frustrated with this, however I understand the reasons behind this policy. Australia is basically COVID Free, compared to the US UK EU and parts of Asia. I have many friends who were international Cabin Crew who no longer have jobs. From a domestic travel point of view, that is difficult too. We have experienced state borders being closed, Western Australia has been closed for a long time, the border between NSW and Victoria for approx 150 days, the NSW Queensland border was closed for what seemed like for ever. We are currently in Brisbane and heading further north by road today, a trip we tried to do last November and we are currently scoping our retirement home. Meanwhile Domestic tourism has taken off, Qantas is reporting heavier loads for domestic travel than ever before, and from my personal experience, the cost of accomodation has at least doubled due to demand. For the travel we had planned for 2020, we are currently sitting on credits in excess of $6K, the bulk of that credit is with an international airline (not Australian based) which is valid until December 2022, so hopefully that will be extended. Its never as simple as it seems

I certainly find Facebook to be homophobic. I think the issue is actually the people they use to manage the complaint process, I believe this is done in the Philipines and most Filos are Staunch Cathoics, so they see nil issue with someone calling me a pedophile because I identify as gay. So i cannot get those posts removed, but I get posts of mine removed for being critical of homophobia or homophobia hate.

To be honest I think you say nothing, it gets hard, the therapist has seen it all before and the therapist will guide the situation. Draping or focusing on another body area, or then you might get lucky and the therapist may indulge in some mutual fun

The use of language is a method of communication. Did the writer convey what they meant? Escort or Scott - I think we all know what the meaning is. While I support the use of high language, I find it impossible to maintain. I lived in a number of countries growing up, every time we moved it was a different schooling system, and there are some gaps in my education. Having said that I did get a graduate degree, ( I do have an essay with the comment, you use of language is 3rd rate journalise) and am employed as a communicator in emergency services. grammar and correct spelling is not that important when someone is having bullets fired at them, or someone is having a cardiac arrest. So Yes its great to maintain standards, but when the so called Grammar Police come out, I just find it a superior attitude looking down on the rest of us. The is not a positive experience except for the bully saying the words. I am sure I am being offensive here but - honesty is always good

I got to see it finally, as it was shown on a channel here prior to the Duke’s Funeral,which was at midnight local time on saturday night. So I recorded it, and watched it yesterday. As a fan of the series I thought it was pretty awesome, Barrow got to experience what gay life was like at the time, secret clubs that got raided.... and a future of romance with a nice man. I was happy with it

My father was 35 when I was born and my Mother was 40. They had very old fashioned views about life, and were not at all modern, so it was a hell of an upbringing. Very restrictive and their lack of energy/ enthusiasm due to their age impacted me greatly. I was restricted from joining things, because they could not be bothered to run me around, but made me attend things like Scouts were I was badly bullied.

Well Her Mother the Queen Mother always blamed Wallis Simpson on her husbands death, at 52. If he had not become King due to the abdication, she believes he would have lived much longer. So not sure if the current Queen shares the same opinion, but in respect to her Mother she chose to enforce the exile of her uncle. She did visit towards the end of his life and was present at his funeral.

Attending is on my bucket list, but it looks like our borders in Australia will still be closed , suggestions of 2024 before International travel without restrictions. While I support keeping us as Covid19 free as possible, i find this restriction very frustrating

I think the issue is quality of life. If i choose to live to 80, but the last 10 years I am immobile and dependant on others doing all my needs, like toileting and cleaning, feeding me its better to go at 70. However if I am 100, and still able to get around, enjoy life, (admittedly in a slower way), eat most of what i like and well then 100 is good. Its like planning for your retirement, how much money do you need for that unknown length of time you are going to be alive
