Don't get me wrong. I think the study of sexuality is important. But bringing forth a hypothesis that's biased without any evidence to support it and then to suggest that it's appropriate science just doesn't make sense. It's about as logical as suggesting that scientists should research the environmental factors that make Mexicans lazy, Blacks stupid, and women less capable than men. Starting from a place of suggesting that there's something wrong with being gay (i.e., it's unnatural and caused by something bad) versus having an open ended inquiry (what can we learn about why some people prefer to have sex with members of the same gender) isn't science in my book, particularly when there is no evidence to support the bigoted claims. If being gay was caused by "chemicals" and "toxins" then why don't we see homosexuality centered in areas that have higher amount of these environmental issues, and little or no gay behavior in more environmentally clean areas?

Then why were there gay people before the modern era of "chemical pollutants?"

I honestly haven't seen many films he was in, but I did love him starring opposite Divine in Polyester and quite liked the documentary film about him.

He's available for a lot of things, but I don't see that any of the usual activities for which one hires an escort was selected. Maybe he really is just offering erotic massage and dates and will let you film him (doing who knows what). His ad text just briefly describes his personality without giving any indication what services he is offering. So beyond the curious "transsexual" orientation answer one does have to wonder what's up with this ad.

Odd. Maybe I just happened to check two ads that either had no ad copy or where the copy was being updated and, thus, temporarily unavailable.

Have I just discovered another odd MasseurFinder "strategy" or have they been doing this for a while? I clicked on links to a few ads just now (2:45 am where I live) and while the photos, rates and reviews for the masseurs display there is no ad copy. If this is yet another move by MF's owners to acquire a squeaky-clean image, I don't understand it. Why would removing ad content between midnight and 6am (like they previously did with phone numbers) be meaningful?

I don't use an iPhone or this app, but a quick search on YouTube showed a video of someone using the app. He entered ####%, not %####%. Perhaps you can try that.

I don't think comparing a site like MasseurFinder to Craigslist or, especially, Backpage makes sense. I have never seen a hint of what I would suspect could be a sex trafficked person on MF. Backpage's big problem was that there were teen girls being pimped out through ads there. It isn't enough to say you don't tolerate the sexual exploitation of children if you continue to allow pimps to place ads for teens. I assume part of the problem is technological. A site like MF doesn't let people directly post their ads. People come up with their ad copy and submit that with their photos. Sites like CL and BP were direct posts, though, making it very easy for people to game whatever screening filters were presumably in place to try to avoid such ads to be posted.

No argument from me about loving disco, though I know not everyone considers this era to be the "golden age." Just wanted to point out that while you later discuss The Bee Gees' contributions to the genre, you failed to correct yourself about Donna Summer being the only artist since The Beatles to occupy the top two slots of Billboard's Hot 100 chart. The Bee Gees did that in the spring of 1978 at the height of Saturday Night Fever popularity, with Night Fever being #1 and Staying Alive #2. Perhaps more impressive is that those two songs occupied the top two slots for five weeks and, for the week ending March 18, two of the other songs in the top 5 also had The Bee Gees' involvement, with Samantha Sang's Emotion coming in at #3 and brother Andy Gibbs' Love Is Thicker Than Water at #5. And, being the chart hound that I am, I had to research your claim anyway. I'm not sure that Donna ever did occupy the top two slots at the same time. From my research at this early hour, it appears that the closest she came was having the #1 and #3 records at the same time. Also of note, The Beatles didn't just manage to have the top 2 records at the same time. For the week ending April 4, 1964, they had the entire top 5 all to themselves with Can't Buy Me Love, Twist And Shout, She Loves You, I Want To Hold Your Hand, and Please Please Me. Beatlemania, indeed!

If you want to argue that MF is correct in asking for identification, Cruiser, then at least make the correct argument. They are not simply checking IDs to ensure the advertiser is of legal age; they are insisting advertisers have government identification issued by a government authority in the US. I don't think anyone would argue that refusing ads from minors is wrong. And if someone wants a fake ID I think it's pretty easy to get one still, so who are they fooling anyway? Since all of this is being done on line, not in person, it seems like it would be very easy for someone to submit something that looks like legitimate ID that is merely something Photoshopped on a computer. Since MF is not employing the advertisers, there is no law requiring them to document advertisers' authority to work in the US so all MF is doing is a poor "cover your ass" action that isn't necessary but that sends a negative message, at least to some in our community. I personally think MF is going overboard in its reaction to the current political climate. The website became much less useful when they removed the categories. Then came their stupid shirtless photo rule. Now this. Maybe the site owners should simply shut down their site because, from my perspective, they are steadily making choices that will drive away business -- both advertisers and potential customers.

I lived under an extremely loud straight couple several years ago. The woman was loud in nearly everything she did. For a petite young woman, she sure did walk heavily. But their sex? She screamed "fuck me" at the top of her lungs and he was certainly pounding her given the noises their bed was making. It was annoying for me because, in general, they were simply loud.
