  1. The show was discussed here when it was first on. The ratings were probably poor because the show was generally not that good. I watched it anyway, but a lot of the writing and some of the acting was painfully awkward.
  2. Exactly. This bullshit has been going on for decades -- even before people were using the internet for hookups. I had a friend about 30 years ago who got strung along by someone through the mail. (Remember the days of personal ads in newspapers where you would reply to a PO Box set up by the newspaper?) They corresponded, the guy wanted to share underwear and explicit photos through the mail, and so on. He sent to my friend a photo of an extremely hot looking man, claimed to live in the Castro district of San Francisco yet was not out to anyone and had never had sex with anyone yet, which was his alleged rationale for wanting to take things slowly before meeting. None of the rest of our circle of friends believed this guy's story since it just seemed so far fetched, but my friend went along with it for weeks. My friend finally learned that the guy was actually someone three decades older who wasn't particularly attractive who just liked playing games with people. That's probably the most extreme situation I recall hearing about, but I know that I had to learn early on to detect time wasters before I wasted too much time.
  3. The top person -- I don't know exactly but it was nearly every month for several years, so I'm guessing somewhere in the ballpark of 100. Second place is probably around 10.
  4. Or maybe no one has come up with effective interventions? I know I don't have an answer for this.
  5. Don't get me wrong. I think the study of sexuality is important. But bringing forth a hypothesis that's biased without any evidence to support it and then to suggest that it's appropriate science just doesn't make sense. It's about as logical as suggesting that scientists should research the environmental factors that make Mexicans lazy, Blacks stupid, and women less capable than men. Starting from a place of suggesting that there's something wrong with being gay (i.e., it's unnatural and caused by something bad) versus having an open ended inquiry (what can we learn about why some people prefer to have sex with members of the same gender) isn't science in my book, particularly when there is no evidence to support the bigoted claims. If being gay was caused by "chemicals" and "toxins" then why don't we see homosexuality centered in areas that have higher amount of these environmental issues, and little or no gay behavior in more environmentally clean areas?
  6. Then why were there gay people before the modern era of "chemical pollutants?"
  7. I feel compelled to post this video of a song written by the talented Brenda Russell, though I prefer Donna Summer's version so that's what I am sharing here.
  8. If you are staying in the Romantic Zone, then you will be in the center of gay PV. You will have lots of guys approach you offering their massage service, and you will also see several spas where massages are given. I think it's difficult to give a specific recommendation because, in my experience, a guy I see on one trip is nowhere to be found the next time I visit. You can also go to one or more of the strip clubs to see and interact with the men there, most of whom will be quite forward with trying to arrange a private session with them; the two I've been to are Anthropology and Wet. There's a bathhouse/sauna there now, too, though I've never been; it's called Spartacus.
  9. Is his ad already gone, or did he just change his name. The link just landed me in the Vegas listings and I scrolled through all 8 pages and didn't see anyone named "Ultimate_male." (Maybe he got some sense and realized how off putting to some clients a name like that might be.)
  10. Handsome at every age.

  12. I honestly haven't seen many films he was in, but I did love him starring opposite Divine in Polyester and quite liked the documentary film about him.

  14. He's available for a lot of things, but I don't see that any of the usual activities for which one hires an escort was selected. Maybe he really is just offering erotic massage and dates and will let you film him (doing who knows what). His ad text just briefly describes his personality without giving any indication what services he is offering. So beyond the curious "transsexual" orientation answer one does have to wonder what's up with this ad.
  15. https://m4m-forum.org/threads/411-on-damo.130907/#post-1539177 Just one recent thread about him. Search his name for others.
  16. Seriously? They deleted every advertiser's text, requiring you to rewrite/resubmit your ads?
  17. Odd. Maybe I just happened to check two ads that either had no ad copy or where the copy was being updated and, thus, temporarily unavailable.
  18. Have I just discovered another odd MasseurFinder "strategy" or have they been doing this for a while? I clicked on links to a few ads just now (2:45 am where I live) and while the photos, rates and reviews for the masseurs display there is no ad copy. If this is yet another move by MF's owners to acquire a squeaky-clean image, I don't understand it. Why would removing ad content between midnight and 6am (like they previously did with phone numbers) be meaningful?
  19. Search. He's been discussed here quite a lot, with nearly 100% positive feedback (including from me).
  20. I don't use an iPhone or this app, but a quick search on YouTube showed a video of someone using the app. He entered ####%, not %####%. Perhaps you can try that.
  21. I don't think comparing a site like MasseurFinder to Craigslist or, especially, Backpage makes sense. I have never seen a hint of what I would suspect could be a sex trafficked person on MF. Backpage's big problem was that there were teen girls being pimped out through ads there. It isn't enough to say you don't tolerate the sexual exploitation of children if you continue to allow pimps to place ads for teens. I assume part of the problem is technological. A site like MF doesn't let people directly post their ads. People come up with their ad copy and submit that with their photos. Sites like CL and BP were direct posts, though, making it very easy for people to game whatever screening filters were presumably in place to try to avoid such ads to be posted.
