  1. Yes, at most I might say something like, "If you are interested in getting more clients, there are websites where you can advertise." And I would also offer to write a review of the guy, if he wanted one written. I think that while some guys would appreciate the suggestion and the offer of a review, others do want to keep what they do very much on the d/l. During the time I regularly met with a very hot college student who could have easily charged twice as much, he declined my offer of a review stating that he didn't want to have an ongoing online presence and only occasionally posted Craigslist ads when he was in town and wanting to make a little cash. I'm sure he had a little stable of regulars since I took every opportunity to meet with him when he called me during his visits with family in my area and I assume that other men who were fortunate enough to see one of his rare ads were also enamored to spend time with such a handsome a personable young man.
  2. I find it amusing that I occasionally will get PMs about someone I commented on many years ago. I don't know why anyone who is more interested in looks than massage skills would want a report from someone whose only interaction with said masseur was many moons ago. At any rate, I don't get explicit in any of my responses, mostly because I've always believed that just because I had a certain experience with a guy doesn't mean everyone else will have that same experience. I don't want to put a masseur in a position of having to explicitly decline to do something with someone else that's well outside the normal expectations of an erotic massage just because he happened to do something while he was with me. It's up to a masseur to discuss with his potential clients what he has to offer. So, I mostly offer general feedback about massage skills, looks, hygiene, and whether my expectations were met.
  3. When I was young and had my first real boyfriend, out of necessity we frequently had sex in public places. The most usual spot was a wooded area near campus; one time someone with a shotgun walked past us while my pants were down around my ankles! Another frequent spot was a car, either while parked (one time a police car pulled up and a cop shined his flashlight into our car, but we pretended to be looking at a map and he drove off) or while driving down the interstate (I used to brag that I received a continuous blowjob traveling in three states - Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan). Another time we had sex in a large auditorium on campus in the evening, knowing that no class was scheduled and hoping that no one else would wander in. There are probably other places I'm not recalling. It's funny because I am not one who particularly enjoys having sex in a public spot, but we were both 18, hot for each other, and lived in a dormitory or with our parents during summer break. You gotta do what you gotta do.
  4. I wouldn't call it a "clean sweep" in my area (San Francisco), but yesterday there were either 3 or 4 pages of ads and now there are two. It wasn't too long ago that there were typically more than 4 pages. I'm not sure what happened, but maybe some providers here who advertise there can tell us. Change in rate to place an ad? New restrictions/verification requirements?
  5. It really is perplexing that the negative reviews were allowed to remain. I thought that both Rentmen and Rentmasseur would scrub negatives at the advertiser's request. At any rate, it seems like all of the negatives were people posting that they couldn't get a response or a commitment from the guy. I know I've had this trouble with other guys who are legitimate, so I'm not sure I put much stock in these negative reviews in terms of the guy being a fraud. Maybe he's not the most organized or so busy that some contacts fall through the cracks, but that doesn't warrant a negative review. What's more concerning, however, is that there is a sameness in far too many of the positive reviews.
  6. The point isn't to benefit the customer; it's to benefit the advertiser. You don't think an advertiser cares how much volume of business he gets from the ads for which he pays and might choose to discontinue advertising on sites that bring little to no business?
  7. Your response wasn't to me, but I think you are missing the point "former lurker" was trying to make. If a provider uses name A on Rentmen, name B on Friendboy and name C on Rentmasseur, then when a client calls and says, "Is this B?", said provider will know that it was Friendboy that resulted in the call. I've definitely seen guys use different names on massage versus escort sites, and that makes perfect sense to me if they are using the same phone number in both ads. What I don't understand is men who change their name repeatedly on the same site. That, to me, is a red flag that the guy is trying to escape a bad reputation.
  8. Men on here who have met him speak highly of him, but I've had the same experience as you -- no response to message on Adam4Adam, no response to texts, and no response to voice mail. I gave up trying.
  9. Thank you. I feel silly that it didn't occur to me to try rent.men versus rentmen.eu, but when I did I was finally able to get it to work in Chrome again.
  10. Still not working for me. PC using Windows 10. Tried in Edge, Firefox, and Chrome. I could never get it to work in Firefox (it would relentless ask me to click the acknowledgment button) but it worked fine in Chrome until a few days ago. Maybe it would help those of us for whom HideMe stopped working to hear from those for whom it still works what your computer configuration is. Mac or PC compatible, which browser, etc.
  11. I am having the same problem now, in both Chrome and IE. It worked in Chrome until a couple of days ago, but now I get the same error you do.
  12. Yes, I discovered my error after I posted and then subsequently edited my post while you were posting your comment. Guess I was just a tad too slow!
  13. It's easy to reverse image search. Either use Chrome that allows for easy image searching within the browser, or if you are using another browser you can open a tab to "images.google.com" and then drag and drop the smaller images in an ad to the search area in the images.google.com tab. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see if there is a match on any websites.
  14. Ad has already been taken down, unless the link is wrong. Edit: I see that the ad is still up. It was that new "Rentmen is checking your browser" delay that threw me off. If you do a reverse image search on at least some of the photos, you will be taken to a model's Instagram where there are photos that were taken in various locations in Italy and California and Nevada. Maybe the ad is legit, maybe not. I'm guessing not, but if I were inclined to hire the guy I might try to message the model and ask about upcoming travel plans to see if they match the Rentmen ad.
  15. When I first learned of it, I couldn't get the site to work in Firefox but it works fine in Chrome.
  16. Yes, but there seem to be class action lawsuits against nearly all pharmaceuticals that are used by large numbers of people. I don't know whether there is merit to this specific lawsuit, but one of the things I have read -- that Gilead has a much safer but just as effective medication available but is deliberately choosing to poison people instead -- is pretty silly. If a safer and just as effective medication was available, I think it would be used by even more people which means more profits for Gilead.
  17. Get too high in a thread count and the fabric traps heat better -- not good for most people while sleeping. I prefer bamboo rayon or bamboo lyocell sheets.
  18. I find intelligence sexy, but when someone uses any buzz words that imply "high end" I simply assume his rate is at the top of the range. The guy probably didn't go to a Harvard or Yale and may not have even attended community colleague, but he wants to create the impression that he is the cream-of-the-crop and, therefore, worth more than the average bear (or twink or what-have-you).
  19. In the same vein as Jake Cruise is a guy named Clay who releases videos under the brand names "Boys Halfway House" and "Raunchy Bastards." I say it's the same vein because Clay is a (probably) 40 to 50-ish man in not-so-great-shape who hires younger, leaner men to have sex with him on camera. Unfortunately, the Boys Halfway House videos have a ridiculous theme of Clay pretending to run a house for delinquents and abusing them to teach them lessons. I don't find that arousing (though I guess others do), but some of the guys are sexy. The production quality also leaves something to be desired on many occasions, with less than ideal lighting and camera angles. I think most of that is by choice -- to add to the feel that these are "hidden camera" videos of bad boys being "taught a lesson" by an older man -- but I do wish the camera work had been better in some of my favorites. Just thought I'd mention this guy's videos here for those who like Jake Cruise's videos and haven't heard of BHH or RB before. This video is an example of one of the better ones in terms of the looks of the younger guy (some of the guys he casts really do look like homeless guys desperate for cash, not a very sexy look for me). https://www.pornhub.com/view_video.php?viewkey=ph5c16342292155
  20. How can you be sure of that? Have you hired him or received that feedback from others who have? One of the most expensive massages I ever received cost $200 for an hour. The guy had a lot of nude photos, including some showing erections, and the text more than suggested a lot more than a standard happy ending. I ended up getting a mediocre massage from a hot muscle man who kept shorts and a tank top on the entire time. Whenever I attempted to touch him (like when his thigh was within reach), he'd move far enough away that I couldn't. This was many years ago when I wasn't as confident as to call out such b.s., so I just paid his exorbitant fee (for a standard massage) and left disappointed. Moral of the story: Don't assume that just because a masseur posts sexy photos and suggestive text and has prices closer to the escort realm that you will get anything more than a basic massage, and maybe not even a good massage at that.
  21. Too expensive for purely therapeutic unless one has money to burn and wants a little eye candy during the massage (though one minimally sees the masseur when getting a truly therapeutic massage, so I don't understand caring about the masseur's looks if one is truly looking for therapeutic only).
  22. Great responses already. The bottom line is that you cannot assume anything just because an escort performs BB on camera at least some of the time but lists "safe only" in his ad. If you want to know what the escort's limits with you will be, you need to discuss that. That being said, I do understand that men who want to increase the odds that the escort won't try to have bareback sex with them would screen out those who post any indication that the escort ever barebacks. There are still no guarantees in life (other than death), but I understand an attempt to screen out guys that way.
  23. I disagree when it comes to a 24 hour appointment. I definitely understand that if you are only with someone for an hour or two, he needs to be focused on you and not his phone. But to expect attention at all times for 24 hours is a bit much, I think. During lunch is not the best time to be texting, but if he wasn't given any other down time apart from sleep and going to the bathroom then I can understand his desire to check his texts and emails. In fact, I thought standard practice for longer hires like that was to specifically give the guy some time on his own to do such things.
  24. I really wanted to hire Will, too, but I've tried messaging on A4A, texting him, and leaving a voice message and he never replied. I basically left a general interest message (saw your ad, interested in hiring you today/this weekend/sometime this week), so I don't think it's anything I said or wrote. I have had other providers ghost me, though, so I wonder whether something negative about me has been posted on some forum I cannot access or find via a Google search, but most guys I reach out to respond professionally so I doubt it's that (plus I've never mistreated anyone I've hired). So I'm not sure why I never got a response, but I decided to just move on to other men.
