  1. If you love Indian food and want to gorge yourself, the admittedly expensive (for a buffett) lunch at Amber India downtown (near the City Center Target) is the best Indian buffet I've had anywhere. This isn't your typical buffet with only a few choices of perhaps last night's leftovers; it's freshly prepared and usually has some dishes that one might not even see at other Indian restaurants, much less at a buffet. (If you don't like the thought of a buffet, you can order off the menu instead.)
  2. Tu Lan is not open on Sundays, I believe.
  3. I don't know the guy and don't have a dog in this race, but I scrolled through quite a few pages of his social media posts and didn't detect anything particularly off putting. Yes, he's an attractive young man so he posts a lot of sexy photos of himself. Maybe if he had an office job, it would be a bit weird to post so many shirtless photos of himself in order to show off. But he's an escort. Why would anyone take offense at him showing what he has to offer? I didn't even notice any arrogance in the captions to his photos. He's obviously confident, but not in an obnoxious way. Maybe he is full of himself in person, but I wouldn't make that assumption based on his social media posts. To each his own.
  4. Here I was expecting to see a sarcastic post about how the healthcare industry could start nickle and diming its customers after already charging them for the basic service provided. Surely in a hospital setting this is already done ($20 for a pill that costs a few pennies over-the-counter), but when I visit my doctor I pay my copay and that's it. I can just imagine being charged a fee if I wanted to have an appointment versus just waiting in line (assigned seat in advance versus getting one at the gate).
  5. Happy birthday!
  6. If I were a masseur or escort, I certainly wouldn't want my precise location available to everyone who looked at my ad. But I don't think that identifying a zip code, for example, is giving away too much. For potential clients, that's a lot more useful than simply showing a pin on a map that's roughly the center of a city.
  7. I don't think a name in this case is necessary, but the rest of the post was sufficiently vague that it's difficult to know what went wrong. We know the client's initial offer wasn't between $30 and $400 but we don't know what it was. Was it $300? If so, I would hope that a "porn star escort" would at least appreciate that that is a reasonable offer -- even if he believes he should be paid more -- and instead of responding with indignation provide a counter offer. But if the client's offer was $200 (a typical rate two decades ago but something generally not found today and certainly not a rate a "porn star" would expect), I could understand the escort just viewing the inquiry as a waste of time and shutting the door. For bartering to work well, both parties have to be reasonable with their offers lest the other side think that spending any time on the negotiation is simply not worth it.
  8. I suppose this was dependent on the advertiser's wishes, but I noticed that some ads "map me" would show an approximate location that seemed accurate based on other information in their ads, while many would appear to me within one block of my own address. Since I knew that not all of those guys were literally within one block from me, I assume it was just using my own location.
  9. I am sure he is just concerned about noise from renters creating problems for neighbors and, thus, problems for him. I had an upstairs neighbor evicted several years ago because the inconsiderate slobs thought nothing of renting their small 1-bedroom apartment to groups of 4 young people at a time who would make a ton of noise until it was time to go out to a bar and then make a ton of noise again right after the bars closed. In other words, I had about 3-4 hours of quiet per night most nights. At first I just thought someone new had moved in upstairs who was inconsiderate, but it didn't take me long to realize that every time I went upstairs to complain about the noise a different person answered the door. The final proof came when one of their renters was outside my apartment in the hallway with her suitcase and her stuff strewn all over, with my supposed neighbor standing over her telling her. Guess she overstayed her booking so the "master tenant" made her pack her suitcase in the hallway. I decided to open my door to ask what was going on and my supposed neighbor said the woman was a friend who had just been visiting. I told her that I was aware that she had been having a lot of "visitors" and it was quite disruptive to other tenants in the building. The landlord was quite interested to find out from my identifying their listing that he was charging them $1,500/month rent and they were taking in more than $3,000/month. Within a couple of months, they were gone and a new actual tenant moved in. I'm not entirely anti-VRBO/airbnb and when I visit LA I typically look for an apartment because I can get something nicer than a hotel for less money. But I would never create a nuisance like most of the renters of the place above me did, and the "hosts" usually are very clear in their listings about limiting the number of guests, a ban on having parties, etc.
  10. I quoted you because my experience is different than yours. Instead of suggesting that the person worried about a masseur trying to top him simply not worry because it NEVER happens, I think he should instead be reassured by knowing that he can set limits with which he is comfortable.
  11. What a bummer! After I posted the above, I watched two more episodes On Demand. Now it looks like the show is no longer available On Demand, at least not from Xfinity. Had I known the show was going to vanish in a week I would have watched the rest of the series that day!
  12. Well, if that was an attempt at humor, it failed on me.
  13. Why would it be a "miscarriage of justice" when a murderer is convicted? I get that you are stating that the guy's wife (whom you affectionately call a bitch) probably "planned it all," but unless she is the one who pulled the trigger as well then it's difficult to understand your sympathy for him. My quick research shows that Kimberly Smith was initially given probation for her role in this situation but then later was sentenced to three years in prison for violating the terms of her probation. I'm honestly not that motivated to read even more details about these people or this case, but it's difficult for me to comprehend how you could argue a position that somehow the person who didn't actually fire the gun deserves to be locked up but the actual shooter doesn't.
  14. I have had a few masseurs top me, and some have tried to enter me without putting on a condom first. I don't want to create paranoia because unless the therapist is a rapist, the client can control whether the therapist can enter him. It's pretty easy to tell as a client if the therapist is trying to top you and unless you are totally spaced out it also should be quite obvious whether he took any time out to unwrap a condom and wrap up his dick. Either wrapped or unwrapped, if you don't want the therapist to penetrate you then say so and don't just go along with the flow as his dick starts pressing against your hole.
  15. Just stumbled upon this thread. This man is so sexy but I had no idea who he was. Fortunately an image search revealed it's Davood Ghadami, who is apparently well known "across the pond" but perhaps not so much in the USA.
  16. Man, that so-called music playing during the slideshow was just horribly annoying. I didn't listen to much of it, though, since I just kept skipping forward in the thread to see the names of the eight men listed. Topher is hot, as is Dato. I could do without all of the rest on the list. Like any list of the so-called "best" of something, it's just someone's opinion. As we can see, most people here don't agree that the 8 men shown in this video represent the cream of the crop.
  17. Since he deserves to be seen without clicking. http://d2948ivoqgnz9i.cloudfront.net/photos/146688.jpg
  18. I'm captivated by Austin so much that he deserves a photo here.
  19. If I'm in a blond college jock mood, I agree that Nixon is an excellent example of that.
  20. I don't think I've had a "type" for quite a long time. There's such a variety of sexy men that it would be impossible for me to pick one and say he represents my ultimate type. I like some of the purdy pictures in this thread, though.
  21. I'm happy you started this thread, Kman, since I hadn't noticed that I only got to see a few episodes. I searched and the show is available on Xfinity OnDemand (and also Amazon Prime, though I would have to pay extra for it there). Now I can resume watching the series. I think the producers assembled an interesting cast for this series, with varying personalities, skills, and back stories. And there is at least one seriously sexy man in the series, Jelani Mizrahi.
  22. Shocking. For the first time in a long time, Google Image search was actually useful. A reverse image search of the first photo in this ad led to one website (in Chinese) of a model named Jordan. The photo collection has other shots that were also used in Robertoros' ad. Obviouisly this doesn't mean the ad is a fake; maybe this model has decided to offer massage services. But the photos are definitely from some model's portfolio. https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=zh-CN&u=https://m.sohu.com/n/479453952/&prev=search
  23. Yes. Those of us who have been around for a while have a natural skepticism when a model-handsome guy has a new ad. It isn't that handsome men like that never decide to enter the business, but so often these ads are frauds that it's reasonable to be skeptical when a new ad pops up and the guy looks like he could be a cover model.
  24. Forget about passing muster. I need ketchup! (Just a little friendly ribbing.) The problem with believing everything you read online is that anyone can post just about anything. Dolph Lambert was obviously on holiday with Elton (along with a lot of other people). Does that mean Elton paid George Duroy to get Dolph to be there? Maybe Dolph just welcomed the opportunity to hang out with other hot young men along with not-so-young but prominent gay men? I think one website I looked at indicated that Dolph was dating a singer signed to Elton's label, so that could explain how he got connected to that circle. At any rate, I understand your fascination with BelAmi models. Many of them are strikingly sexy. They have featured so many hot men that I honestly cannot pick a favorite.
