Njguy2 got a reaction from thomas in The Gray Man - Netflix movie
The Gray Man was recently released on Netflix - it's n action-spy thriller starring Ryan Gosling, Ana de Armas, Chris Evans, and Rege-Jean page.  The supporting cast is good.  It is directed by the Russo brothers.
Found it rather entertaining and seeing Ryan Gosling in an action role was new for me.   Rumor has it they are talking about a sequel.

OK.  I have disabled ALL ads site wide for now.   I've also resubmitted an application for the same program we used on the original m4m-forum domain.  To help with approval, I have made the public gallery and everything inside of Daddy's Den not available to guests.  In order to view these, you need to be logged into the site with your username/password.

Njguy2 reacted to samhexum in Christopher Meloni’s home fitness routine: ‘I work out naked’
Chris Meloni, who previously has espoused his enthusiasm for working out in the buff, now is doing so in an advertisement for Peloton‘s exercise app.
“Apparently, some people think the way I work out is strange,” Meloni says at the top of the new commercial, which was released Thursday. As he does bicep curls and squats in his home gym, the camera pulls back to reveal that the really, really, ridiculously fit actor is wearing nothing but socks and sneakers. “Honestly, I don’t get it.”
He goes on to sing the praises of the app’s variety of exercise modalities, including yoga, meditation and running.

“In the Peloton community, users are represented by two separate, yet equally motivated groups,” an announcer intones over the end of the spot. “Those who wear pants… and Christopher Meloni.”
The lighthearted video comes after a few not-great TV-related moments for the company in the recent past. And Just Like That‘s Mr. Big, played by Chris Noth, had a heart attack after riding a Peloton bike in the Sex and the City continuation’s premiere. The fitness company quickly produced a wink-wink ad featuring instructor Jess King and Noth, but then pulled it after Noth was accused of sexual assault by four women. Then, in January, a Billions character also suffered a heart attack after using a Peloton bike. That character did not die, however; Peloton later said it was not aware that its product would be featured in the Showtime drama.

Njguy2 reacted to + Charlie in Retirement, Downsizing, Maintaining Lifestyle
When my spouse and I retired, we downsized to upsize. We sold our Center City townhouse in Philadelphia, and used the money to buy a ranch house with a two car garage, on a large lot  of land with fruit trees and a swimming pool, in Palm Springs. We also bought a second car, something we never needed in the city. And we had money left over for our new lifestyle.
However, after thirteen years, we were ready to downsize again, but this time for real: we sold our desert oasis and moved into a smaller house on a tiny piece of land, in a 55-plus community. Once again, we sold our house for more than we paid for our new residence. But the next downsize will probably be to a unit in an assisted living facility. We are already preparing to go back to only one car when the lease on our second car runs out at the end of this year.
Depending on how old you are and what condition you are in, there is no one right way to adjust your lifestyle when you retire. The important point is to know what your options really are, and plan accordingly, recognizing that what you want and what you can do may change--retirement can last a long time, and you need to remain flexible.

As you noted, the risk is primarily on the margin call.  As long as that is within your risk tolerance and having an idea about what do you do in the mean time...  by all means!

I would just assume if they don't reply back that they are not interested or not serious. I wouldn't "chase" after them at all. If and when they wanna hire you they'll reach back out. Not worth any unnecessary self inflicted stress.

My oldest client is in his late 70’s. He’s fantastic. I get as much pleasure from seeing him enjoy himself as I do clients in their 20’s.
I do understand the perception that somehow it’s more fun with a young fit guy. I’d have said that too before I started doing massage. I did wonder at the start of doing this work if I’d be able to be the same with every client but actually I find that’s not the challenge at all.
Now that I’ve been doing sensual massage for years and seen all sorts of clients I can definitely say that age or body type makes no difference to my approach (except that I’ll be less firm with someone who’s less muscular). The biggest challenge isn’t their age or physical appearance, it’s their attitude.
Some older guys take longer to get hard or climax so that’s different but otherwise I find most people regardless of age are looking for similar things; a relaxing proper massage, some intimacy, some fun and to feel at ease and be themselves. If the person I’m seeing is coming for those reasons then it’s great. If their attitude is they just want to use me to get off then it doesn’t work. Fortunately I can screen those type of clients out before they book.
The driver for me is that my client is enjoying themselves. The more they enjoy our session  the better it is for me…in a virtuous circle kind of way. If a 75 year old has great time then so did I. Age is irrelevant. Attitude is everything.

jaywalker, since your impending visit to my favorite city is apparently your first-- I'd encourage you take one or more organized (and relatively inexpensive) tours on the early days of your visit.  That way you'd get a view of the various neighborhoods, some details, and specific highlights of this dynamic city that is losing its luster.
Since the pandemic, I have only gone once a month to SF to get my haircut and to meet my favorite "go-to-guy."  Other than the preceding-- I've not enjoyed "The-City-by-the-Bay" as I'd desired.  I do hope to go during this particular summer and beyond to partake in its culture and people.
In terms of tours, etc., check out https://TripAdvisor.com as well as https://gaycities.com  There are other salient websites, but my memory is in a fog on this Sunday late morning on the Monterey Peninsula.

Just finished watching it. I almost gave  up at the beginning which is super slow, but I agree both Sisssy Spacek and JK are very compelling and by the end of episode 1, the series truly takes off and I loved it. It is such a rich premise that I can only hope they're able to sustain its integrity in the following seasons, if it gets renewed.
