I’m shocked the prices are so low. Tricks for 100 CHF?

. There are a few places in the world where i feel absolutely dirt poor and impoverished every time I visit  . Zurich is such a place , probably because so many people are so wealthy ( and I’m a New Yorker, that usually doesn’t phase me ) but the Swiss take it to another level .

If the prices are correct it might be the best deal in Switzerland besides a bar of milka chocolate

I was there last summer and someone was driving around in a gold-plated porsche, lol.

Zurich can be insanely wealthy, but as a visitor, I managed to stay at Sorel Rutli for a decent price, which was a three minute walk to Paragonya, and kept expenses down by eating street food around Paragonya, which is still expensive but not as bad as sitting down in a restaurant, having the complimentary breakfast in the hotel, and taking public transport, which was extremely reliable and accessible. The zoo, museums and parks were all free or very inexpensive.

  2. Update: just got back from London, and while the host was super friendly, things didn't go so smoothly. I had reached out a couple days before to get some portfolio emailed for a hotel visit, but never heard back. Thought I'd stop by, so I called ahead, and they told me they closed at 7, so I showed up around 5:30. The host was super friendly, but all the boys were leaving for the night. He suggested stopping by earlier in the day tomorrow, and he went through some photos if I wanted to schedule tonight. About half were Brazilian, and there was a Dutch guy, an Italian, a Spaniard, a Romanian and a Russian. The Russian was my favorite, cute twunky type. He told me he'd reach out and let me know about that night, but I never heard back. So that day was a bust.

I stopped by around 3pm the next day, he said the Russian would be available potentially that night. I asked about just doing an appointment while I was there. He did the two-way mirror thing and there were only three guys were there and they were really... rough. They looked like migrant twinks that weren't eating well and came straight off the street. It was a pretty depressing. I politely declined, saying they weren't really my type. The host acknowledged that winters had slim-pickings. I ended up not scheduling that night either.

The effort was there, and the interactions were extremely friendly, but it simply didn't work out. I'll probably be back in the spring, so hopefully things turn around.

Has anyone visited recently, and any pics of the current selection? Thanks 😊

I reached out to them by email yesterday for a trip I have this weekend. Unfortunately I haven’t heard back yet, but if I make it I’ll try to update anyone. If anyone knows a better way to get a hold of them lemme know

  4. Just a little update. Staying the night in ftl for work so I stopped by Boardwalk tonight around 11pm. Pretty dead. A couple of customers in the patio and another inside. Saw about a half dozen beefy smooth Latino guys, mostly in their thirties, the kind that are big without any definition. If that’s your type you’ll be very satisfied with the eye candy.

The interaction? Not so much. José, a classically handsome older guy approached me and he was very aggressive and persistent. He gave all sorts of quotes in his haste for the service he promised. He did deliver on it, but the price doubled. Since I was early, there was no door check to the private rooms. But he “heard voices” in the area and said his manager will expect him to pay out $40. I just kept walking. He wasn’t threatening, but boy, what a scammer! He then started to plea “they have cameras!” I sat back at the bar and said I didn’t see any. He then pulled out the scanner sitting on the desk and said “look!” I told him it wasn’t a camera. He then started pleading with the bartender in Spanish (which I understood, which was basically asking if the manager was here). I gave him the $40 to just make it end and vowed to not come back. I finished my drink (not before every remaining dancer caught wind and made their own attempts, almost forming a line).

Couldn’t finish that drink fast enough, lol.

Just wanted to reiterate that I never felt unsafe, but I was definitely hustled. Luckily it wasn’t too much. Gonna try Johnson’s next and post on that thread.

there are many, telechapero is a good one for escorts. https://www.mileroticos.com/chaperos/barcelona/ is also good. If you are willing to go lower, pasion.com is good too, mostly less known escorts and masseurs

Oh crap I remember browsing that maybe 10 years ago when I was just out of college and planning a trip to Barcelona. Can't believe the site looks exactly the same, lol. I remember it was well-regarded back then.

  6. Hey all. I'm heading to Berlin in a week and was wondering if anyone can share their experience with the current scene, eg saunas, hustler bars, must-visit clubs, escorts etc. I understand there are still a couple of hustler bars open, but they might be unsafe? Any help would be nice, and of course, I'll share my experience.

The Axels are more expensive and has smaller rooms compared to equivalent hotels, but it is adults only, 18+ themed and it has what is considered one of the best gay bars in the world (which you cant go to without being a guest iirc). Really any hotel in Eixample is best: that area is colloquially known as "Gayxample," and is centrally located from all the touristy stuff, and the hustler sauna would be within walking distance. The only things that will require drives are the beach, the airport and some of the famous architecture. I'd go with whatever hotel is the best deal with the best rating at the booking dates based on online reviews. There are so many hotels in the area it's hard to single one out, and they're all pretty similar. Just note that most will card any rentboy you bring back.

Small correction on my  post: you CAN visit the bar at the original Axel, which is considered a must-go, even if you are NOT staying there. As far as the other Axel (TWO), I'm not familiar with anything worth visiting.

Does anyone who used to go to Remington's in Toronto remember a dancer called Max? He was a blond guy from the Czech Republic originally. Probably worked there around 2013-2014-2015, was in his 20s back then. He was very good looking and I wondered if he has an OnlyFans or Instagram account and what name he might go by online if he's still in the business.

Oh shit I think I knew him. around 5'8", blonde, gymnast build? I actually knew him from outside Remington's. I believe he has an identical twin brother that lives in Florida, if it is who I think it is (I think he was taking college classes with an ex of mine iirc). He was very secretive around the issue, but he lost a lot of his build  very quickly and always wore a big ski cap. Friends would joke around and try to take it off and he would get really sensitive about it. Suddenly, he just fell off the face of the Earth. There was a rumor that he had a brain tumor, but I never got confirmation. He was a casual acquaintance, so I never followed-up, unfortunately.

In my decades of travel to Turkey, I would never classify any of my trips as “safe".
Nonetheless, I do believe it has gotten more openly dangerous in recent years.
It is a very conservative country. It was long before Erdoğan. And it will continue
to be so long after. He didn’t become President by accident.

Unfortunately, I think people often confuse some of the “slightly more liberal"
attitudes they encounter in Istanbul with the delusion that it’s a liberal Muslim
country. It is not. Don’t be fooled into thinking it’s any different than anywhere
else in the Middle East and you’ll be fine.

I love Turkey. It’s one of my favorite countries in the world. As the crossroads of
East and West it is eternally fascinating and beautiful. It’s just not a gay Mecca.

Middle eastern guy here. Visited Turkey multiple times. Can confirm all this. If you want to visit an openly liberal and safe Muslim country, Albania is beautiful.

Do the eyes look really small? If they do, it’s probably filler. If they look surprised, it’s probably a bad brow lift.

Yeah when I was discussing eyelifts, I was mainly thinking of smaller procedures that get rid of that "sleepy eye" look (ptosis). The more excessive looking results where people look surprised all the time are usually brow/facelifts, fillers, botox etc.

Lid lifts are wonderful because they conceal the scar in a natural fold, and very little needs to be done to get excellent results. It's maybe ten minutes an eye and the healing is less than a month.

I have been diligent about fitness for years. Still, I haven't been able to fully shed those love handle fat deposits and the same on my lower abs. I tried Cool Sculpting once and another fat freezing procedure a couple years later to try to battle back my lower stomach. They were a complete joke, and I saw no visual or measurable benefits. I don't suggest anyone waste their money on those treatments.

I currently have a very low body fat percentage (less than 10%), and even so those areas still stubbornly remain less desirable than I would like for the amount if efforts I have made in diet and exercise. I am considering some sort of liposculpture in those areas, but need to do more research. The best results I have gotten for diminishing fat are diet, of course, and steady state, low intensity cardio - walking, for instance.

You sound like the ideal candidate for a simple lipo. You're fit with a problem area. You don't need to lose weight, and simply have a genetic predisposition to pocket extra fat in a very specific area.

I've gained 20 pounds during COVID by the scale and mostly entirely in my belly/stomach (by my assessment/looks in the mirror).  I'm meeting with a plastic surgeon next month.  May start with fat freezing.  I'll do some Botox again, dermabrasion... never tried fillers...

I'm never going to return to my muscle boy days; too many injuries.  My new plan is to try to get to lithe and lean - tons of cardio and low calorie diets.  I'm coming off a year of an ankle injury recently repaired via surgery.  Recovery is slow and frustrating.  I'm hoping a bit of 'light work' can jump start me in a better direction.  I hate what I see in the mirror after a shower.

Greatly appreciate this great advice.  Thanks to all who have taken the time to answer.

I'm not too familiar with Cryolipolysis, my colleague considered it b.s., so we mainly did lipos/tummy tucks. But what I've read from credible sources don't rule it out as a potential treatment option. I would just make sure the office is reputable. They may even give information on the device they use and it's efficacy can be looked up. Hope that helps.

FUE (random grafting follicle by follicle) doesn't leave visible scar lines as FUT but it's typically more expensive. And yes, Propecia for life but you can discuss with your practitioner some protocols (i.e.: taking breaks for a few weeks every few months) to lessen the side effects if you are within the 2% who experience them.

Yes exactly, FUE is what I was discussing. There isn't a strip of flesh removed, so there's no scar. There can be the tiniest of dot-sized marks from donor sites, but nothing to be concerned about. Also, stem cell therapy as an adjunct, where they inject your own stem cells into sites to stimulate growth has shown a lot of promise.

  15. One of my colleagues is a plastic surgeon, and I've helped him out on some surgeries. I've seen it all, from ear pinning to nipple reduction. From an effectiveness standpoint, if you're not very overweight, liposuction of problem areas yield results that are perfectly realistic. Injecting the fat into areas (such as a butt lift) also yield great results. Recovery is not bad at all (except with butt-lifts you can't sit down for a few weeks). Lid lifts are surprisingly realistic-looking. Hair transplants are now done without a big scar (if you qualify). If you want a stronger chin, filler works well there.

Then you get into the "improved, but it's obvious work was done" category like rhinoplasties and tummy tucks.

Lastly, there's the "avoid because it usually looks worse" category like pec/calf/bicep implants. I would also put facelifts into this category. Seems like minor facelifts barely make any difference while aggressive ones always look bad.

I would avoid anything on the penis. Girth procedures can be very hit-or-miss with permanent deformity, and lengthening produces small changes and a very painful recovery.

Pinnichio/Tabasco has been on the corner of Fuggerstrasse and Eisenacher Strasse for maybe 80 years. It's always been packed and still is but now it's all guys from Romania and pretty rough. Exercise extreme caution. Carry any decent amount of money in your socks under your soles. Expect guys from Romania to not follow through on any sex promises. Guys from Romania and Bulgaria come from a tradition of robbing gays, not having sex for money. ToyBoy bar across Fuggerstrasse on Eisennacher is much safer but still very active. BlueBoy bar a block up Eisennacher was even better but i think it's closed down. I also like Tramps on Eisenacher just behind Pinnichio. It has few people  but nice people in a relaxed atmosphere. Online you can expect the actual going rate in Germany to be lower than advertised and certainly lower than we're used to. Germany has a tradition of trade from way back so it's considered "normal". Many of us miss the old days there. "Bahnhofjunge" is the German slang for trashy guys who always "sold" in train stations.

These are all in the Nollendorf gay bar area of Berlin just a few blocks east of KaDeWe.

Thanks for the info this is really useful and promising, you got me pretty excited!

the guys are disappointed at Berlin as a market compared to Zurich and Munich. i explained to them there are 3 bars filled with guys for 50 E so that probably depresses the market.

On a side-note, I am headed to Berlin and I'm unfamiliar with the hustler bars, can you provide some info on the scene? I'd really appreciate it!
