outcalls can be a drain for a number of reasons -  having to walk into an unkonwn area, fake clients pranking, travel time just to name a few.
But i think the title to this thread could be changed to :
If the outcall rate is steep, do incall instead!

    read again.
I think you are missing the vital word of "AND" in my sentence. The word AND is added to show that I was describing a THE MIXTURE OF ALL THREE SMELLS.  My bad if that was not clear. 🤮 Next time you are sucking someone off who hasn't wiped their ass properly and been sweating all day, get back to me and let me know how much you enjoyed it.  It is very different from sucking a nice fresh clean one, I assure you.
I'm sorry someone has had to explain how to wash yourself properly as a way of good manners before you are going to be intimate with them. Like I said, it is difficult to do without offending. My apologues you are offended by this.
But I can answer your question about what I hope my clients do before a full escort session = showering as described above, with the additional step of douching. I certainly do, but I also wear deodorant, cologne, moisturize, put product in my hair, shave, add fresh bed sheets and towels, and tidy the apartment/hotel if I am hosting.
You sound like someone who doesn't wipe their ass properly - god knows why else you would be defending this behavior. Madness. I hope you brush your teeth daily.
I am actually shocked that it seems controversial to arrive properly cleaned to a session where you are going to be intimate with someone. The push back here is baffling. But once again - some guys are oblivious.
Please shower throughly beforehand people, your provider will thank you and you will have a better experience as a result. What a crazy thing to have to explain to people. Sigh.

so how much washing is required? fully soaped up ALL areas of body, including under arms, under balls, inside ass crack, around or even a little inside your hole, fully cover your cock and pull back foreskin if you have one, rinse all water off. Repeat if you can. then fully dry off. ideally brush teeth or at least gargle some mouthwash to freshen up if you are wanting kissing. You should wash yourself with vigor and be overly thorough. Treat it as if someone is about to inspect every inch of your body - which is generally what happens in a massage!  Not just a quick rinse of water over your back or some water splashed on your face.
Just because the client showered, does not mean he has done so properly.  Not everyone has the awareness of hygiene, and it is really awkward and difficult to tell someone without offending.
True Story - I offered a gentleman to have a shower when he arrived dripping with sweat and B.O and he said "i showered this morning." I said, "well I had one 10 minutes before you arrived, why don't you have another one now and freshen up - don't worry about the time it takes to be all clean, the session will not start until you are out of the bathroom."   A normal person would read between the lines and go and throughly clean themselves, but this guy was in and out in probably under a minute.  During the session he wanted me to suck him off and when I went down there I had to cut the session and say 'look we need a break, I need you to go back and really take your time cleaning up and washing everything down there, ok?'  he replied "but why?"  like I said earlier - OBLIVIOUS. I don't know if he wasn't wiping his ass properly or not, but the smell of shit, ball sweat and pre-cum is not a pleasant aroma for the best of us. The second time he went in the shower for maybe 2 minutes. Clearly not clean.  I said, 'no no, let me come in with you' and had to wash him down myself.

This is very accurate. Many people contact via rentmen asking for massage only, sometimes they may only want a sensual massage, or they are scared about writing down what they REALLY want, which is completely understandable (although frustrating at times) A lot of clients are nervous full stop.
Then there is a particular type of client that deliberately asks for massage only prices, but then try to receive full service upon meeting.  (I always make it clear of the price structure before hand to avoid this)
I fear the OP was offended when full service was not on the menu for the massage rate. Often rentmen are happy to upscale the session to full service rate when the client is comfortable (dick is rock hard) and asks for the next level. But by asking for massage only - it does also leave room for the provider to say "no this is massage only." And in cases where hygiene is an issue, well often the clients that have these issues are oblivious to it.
The OP has left 6 contributions to the forums so far, 3 of which have ranged between completely negative to somewhat negative- and all mention MASSAGE ("great massage but not consistent" "i was 15 min late so we went straight to bed no massage and no offer to extend time" "airbnb was small") To me these comments indicate a client who is overly critical and extremely fussy,  Like someone who posts bad yelp reviews when a restaurant makes them wait 5min for a table or doesn't refill the water quick enough.
The only way we will know the truth is if the provider or client chooses to post a screenshot of MASSAGE ONLY discussion which i encourage either to do - [whilst redacting identifying numbers/screen names of course and staying within forum rules]

I am new to the hobby, so please forgive me for being ignorant of the etiquette. On two occasions I have specifically asked guys if they are ok with me rimming them, well in advance of our appointment. In fact, one of the guys reminded me to shower before he arrived, apologetically explaining that he asks that of everyone. I responded essentially, "no problem, I was going to ask you to be clean before I eat you out."
When he arrived, he dropped his pants, bent over, and I smelled his stinky butt. It put me off the entire session. This happened again with an experienced provider/porn star. Is there a polite way to ask them to wash up/douche beforehand? How do you prevent this from happening?

    Sure:

    1. check who has left the reviews - new accounts, or accounts that have been around a while and left reviews for other guys too? Reach out to those reviewers and ask things you need to know without asking too much - ( do they kiss? did they have a suitable apartment? would you see them again?)
    2. Post a 411 here- maybe they have set up a new account and have a name change. if so why? you will see reveiws for old account name that may explain things.
    3. ask for confirmation through WhatsApp, BRIEF facetime or Snapchat to see pics are real - although i think with 6 reviews you are fine.
    4. do not send a deposit (if requested) larger than $50.

SecretProvider reacted to Becket in Getting back into escorting - how much can I earn?
If you have escorted before you probably know most of this stuff:

Guys who make that sort of money work their tails off. Lots of things that successful guys have to do on a regular basis may seem mundane, tedious, and unnecessary to the provider. These things often do not immediately pay off, and they take up a lot of your time. Some of these might be:
    1. Polite and timely communication with a client or potential client. Do you respond to texts or emails in a timely manner, and with courtesy and friendliness, regardless of how the client may be communicating with you?
    2. Being the highest priced guy in your market. Every time I see an ad with the phrase (and similar) "Upscale clients only," it makes me cringe.
    3. Advertise. A lot. Get your name, FACE, and best characteristics on as many platforms you can find.
    3.  Get used to the fact that you are going to be criticized; often times unjustly. You are providing a fantasy experience. No matter how hard you try, there will be some who will take potshots against you because the experience did not meet the clients expectation of the fantasy.
    4.  Clients will cancel on you. A lot. Clients will schedule a time and then back out. There are a hundred reasons why a client might cancel. Ran out of money; got too nervous to go through with the appointment; something came up; client decided he really wasn't up for a session at the last minute. And on and  on.
Much of this you probably already know. In answer to your actual question, "what might a reasonably successful independent provider realistically expect to net per year in the current environment? If you work all the time and dedicate yourself to (within reason) the old saying "The customer is always right," an income of high five figures or low six figure income is not totally out of the question. Unfortunately:
    1.  The economy is a mess right now. Many clients are hiring less frequently  than they used to. Which for many of us creates fewer discretionary dollars.
    2.  You are older now than you used to be. Experience is a great thing to have. I bet you're heavenly in bed. But many guys prefer than young dude, who, in my experience, often disappoints in the sack due to the lack of said experience.
    3.  If you will travel for work your expenses wiil eat you alive. Hard to believe how expensive everything is now.
    4. Broadly and generally speaking, people are pissed off these days. Lots of reasons why; we all know them. I think it's harder now than it was ten years ago to create the fantasy potential clients are looking for.
Anyway these are the things which popped into my brain then out onto this page at the beginning of another lovely day in Dallas. I'm sure other clients, wiser and more experienced than am I, can give you better feedback. But the subject was interesting. Thanks for posing the question and Good Luck.

I also have had good times with no/low review guys. Some of them just happen to get the clients who don't subscribe to RM to be able to leave reviews but are working plenty often just as the highly reviewed guys are. The fact that the reviews on RM you do see are the top whatever % of the user base that cares enough to pay for the site to be able to leave a review and the other 80, 90, 95% of the users (whatever it may be) are hiring providers without ever leaving any reviews (like me), is something that should be remembered.
Both for better (the pay wall means it's more likely reviewers are real reviewers) and worse (the paywall means there's very limited number of reviewers compared to the total user base which makes it inherently skewed). One of my regulars who i've been seeing for about a year, sees many clients, and still currently has no reviews on his profile. Having no profile reviews doesn't really mean the provider is new or bad, not by default.
You definitely increase your odds of having a good experience by sticking to highly reviewed guys. SecretProvider is spot on in all he suggested. But i would say too, there is fun and hidden gems to find in the guys with no or very few reviews. Just still apply the vetting process SecretProvider listed before you meet them.

Because I have time today, The red flags listed:
    - I'm new.  (for reasons mentioned above)
    - creating a new profile to reach out. (this is often done by spam bots who create new accounts daily, or seasoned tire kickers who know if we see how old/visit the profile they have had means they wouldn't be messaging this way if they were genuine.)
-Not answering the very simple yet important question, which had to be asked THREE TIMES - what do you want to do? What do you get into? What do you like to do when it comes to gay sex? (could be answered in a non-explicit way, although to be fair I despise when people answer with 'i'm looking to have fun' because what the hell does that mean) For me this was the biggest red flag.
    - asking questions that are already answered on his profile no1 - (do you do bb)  listed on our profiles as safe only/ask me/anything goes. Maybe this provider had 'ask me' as his answer but the following two points would suggest that is not the case.
    - asking questions that are already answered on his profile no2 - (are you neg) If he has taken the time to set up a new profile to reach out, why wouldn't he have read the providers stats?  He was elongating the conversation for interaction.
    - asking questions that are already answered on his profile no3  - asking the provider what THEY are into (this a common theme for the tire kickers trying to elicit free conversation of sexual nature. You tell us what YOU like, what we 'like' other than getting paid is irrelevant and the truthful answer is probably not fucking you)
    - asking sexual questions with obvious answers  - do you like to breed. (find me one top who would say 'no i hate it')
    - He asked about traveling and hosting, despite later saying he only wanted to travel.  Why would he ask about both if he only wanted one. If he wanted the provider to host he would have said "i am looking for someone to host, where are you located?'  (example of elongating conversation instead of making a booking)
    - "and other services?" This is a classic way to get conversation instead of booking. Real client would say 'i saw you list available for videos, can i ask what you allow?" or " i would be really interested in filming some of our encounter, is that included in a session?" these questions would provide an answer, but that is not what he wanted - he wanted to explore conversations ABOUT making videos, rather than meeting and actually doing it.
I hope this illustrates more about how the language of his texts were trying to get a conversation rather than firm down a booking. Does only one of these things mean automatic red flag block and ignore? Of course not. But the sum is greater than the parts, and after a while you start to be able to spot them easier.
