Got an older brother? He may be the reason you're gay.

2nd of four, the only boy. I'm gay and the youngest sister is gay. -
My sister picked up a book for my Dad for his birthday and asked that they gift-wrap it. We watched in horror as the clerk tried to wrap it. When she got to the ends where you fold the paper over, she was crumpling the paper up and slapping a slab of tape over it. We finally said "Here, let me do this" and the clerk watched. She was amazed. So was I - I cannot remember NOT knowing how to wrap a simple rectangle. I've picked up some refining techniques over the years, but I've known the basics since before I started school.

@NowOrNever I cannot thank you enough.

To play devil's advocate - my mother went through cosmetic surgery after they removed a large cancerous spot on her face. The first doctor was very nice, very professional in his manner, but after three surgeries that went from bad to worse, he recommended a colleague of his. This new guy had NO bedside manner, brusque and cold, but damn, one surgery later, you could barely tell my mother'd had a big chunk of her nose replaced.

Reminds me of the S2 finale of "Stranger Things", when Nancy says to Dustin, "Don't worry about those girls. Girls at that age can be pretty rotten". I've never found a high-schooler who believes you when you say this, though. You just have to grow up and find out for yourself.

Chaosmen is mostly bareback these days, with the usual disclaimers about testing. @NowOrNever do you know where that video was from, or have a link? I've seen most of his stuff at Chaosmen but I don't recall the poppers/gloryhole bit.

I didn't notice that. I saw him in the late 90's or early 2000's, and those pictures are pretty accurate as to what he looked like back then. I've seen him at the gym a few times, last time must be at least 5 years back, and he looked pretty much the same; but no, he wasn't in his early teens when I saw him. not my kink :-P

I saw him about 20 years ago, would not repeat. PM if you want more information.

For those of you who are fans of movies that are so bad they're good..."The Disaster Artist", based on the book about the making of "The Room" (called the Citizen Kane of bad movies) is out. James Franco plays Tommy Wiseau, the director/writer/producer/star of "The Room"; Dave Franco plays his friend Greg Sestero, the co-star and eventual Line Producer of the movie. Saw it last night and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I do admit to kind of an obsession with "The Room" - on the surface, a simple romantic triangle story, a guy's fiance is cheating on him with his best friend - but it's unrelentingly (and unintentionally, I think) weird.

He's not hairy here, which is a shame, but Chris Wood (Mon-El on Supergirl) is one of my current hairy crushes. I think this is from the Sex and the City prequel show "The Carrie Diaries".

First time was with a girl, a former co-worker that I'd taken to my new job's Christmas party. She stayed over, we started fooling around, and it was my first time. Not all that memorable. My second time was also with a girl, oddly enough at a party hosted by that first girl and her current boyfriend. First time with a guy was blowing him a guy at a glory hole in an adult peep-show. Second with a guy was with my first hire, he knew it was my first and he was very good with me.

I can only imagine the reactions of those comedians to this statement. :-D

Every once in a while, I google to see if Vander from Chaosmen escorts. No luck so far.

"The Orville" Renewed For A Second Season

Denise Crosby wanted off the show, that's why they killed Tasha off. Probably not the best decision on her part. -

I've liked this season so far, but I admit there have been very few seasons I did NOT like. The tribal council this week was pretty crazy. I agree about JP, I was loving seeing his chest hair grow in but it looks like he shaved first thing once he got to Ponderosa. -
I kinda miss the agencies. Back around the 2000's, before there was (or at least before I found) online escort ads, there was an agency in Michigan that I used a lot. They knew me, knew what I liked, and set me up with some awesome guys.

I've run into many people who consider that "crazy", to have the TV on & not watch it. One was my roommate's mother, even after I explained that I was the one who had it on for some ambient noise in the background; so she was essentially calling me crazy. :-) Just yesterday, I tried leaving a Youtube video of "12 hours of calming music for dogs" for my pup while I was away, I'm not sure yet if she enjoyed it - my roommate came home shortly after I left. I'm not a very musical person at all. I listen to NPR on my drive in, and my local NPR is very much into alternative music during the afternoon, which does nothing for me, but I can get the NPR station from the University of Michigan for most of my drive, which is more traditional NPR fare.

Our swim coach wore British Sterling. A lot of it. The smell of that brings me back to those days just like the smell of chlorine does.

Given my choice, I'll pick an actual book over an audiobook - but I've been yelled at for trying to read while driving, so it's audiobooks for the road trips.
-
I listen to them on long car trips. The Harry Potter ones are very well done, it's how I first started with Harry Potter. I'd listened to the first two books (rather than read them), and then misplaced the book I was going to read on an airplane so I picked up "The Goblet of Fire" (4) at the aiport bookstore; totally ruined the ending of 3 (Prisoner of Azkaban) for me. The American audiobooks are read by Jim Dale who does a truly spectacular job. They interviewed him on NPR (Fresh Air?) and it was a fascinating interview. I've been interested in finding the British audiobooks, read by Stephen Fry. Do not get the audiobooks of the TekWar series, read by the author, William Shatner. I love the man but the memory of hearing him trying to do women's voices in the book still makes me cringe.

Is that a scene from "Trainwreck", where he played Amy Schumer's boyfriend?

Not in mine, I often notice how much the elevator smells of the previous occupant's perfume. I have a half-dozen or so bottles but I rarely wear cologne any more. I bought a bottle once because the ad featured a gorgeous hairy-chested model (and you've got to support that, right?). The cologne itself was awful, it smelled like cheap hairspray.
