Monty Python's Matching Tie and Handkerchief had three. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Monty_Python_Matching_Tie_and_Handkerchief "The album's original LP edition is particularly notable in that it was mastered with two concentric grooves on side two, so that different material would be played depending on where the stylus was put down on the record's surface. For this reason it is sometimes referred to as a "three-sided" record."

I'm not an escort, but I hired a guy who turned out to be someone I'd met; he was on a date with another friend of mine at the bar, I met him & basically just said hello . Hired him (sight-unseen) a few months later & recognized him.

"Survivor" has occasionally subtitled players whose accents (usually deep south) were very strong. Made me laugh. I'm usually okay with British accents, I attribute that to starting watching Monty Python when I was 16. I often leave closed-captioning on. When I have it off, I'll click it on briefly & rewind when there's a line I've missed. I did that just a couple of nights ago, with Moulin Rouge, I was never certain what the Duke was shouting at the very end when he approached the stage with a gun. "My way! My way!" (meaning the show should end the way he'd wanted).

Looks often don't equate with taste. My mother made Apple Brown Betty to bring to a Cub Scout banquet, and I was in line behind some guys who skipped it, I overheard them commenting it looked like poop. It did, kind of, but their loss. Early on in my cooking experience, I did not have the knack of making things look good, but they tasted good. My Fried Chocolate Cream looked like axle grease & bearings, but damn it was tasty.

Unfortunately, that camera's ruined :-P

I miss Jell-O 1-2-3.

and didn't he play Steven's lawyer/lover on "Dynasty"?

not the cream, but I got a very deep massage once, and the rest of the day I had vertigo. I can only theorize that he released SO many toxins during the massage that it knocked me down for a bit.

Agreed. The only time I've had them is stealing leftovers from a patron's plate when I worked a restaurant in college, but that's exactly what it tastes like.

I heard a story on NPR last summer about support animals and how easy it was to get them "certified", since there really is no standard for certification. I find myself more and more behind the movement, though ... no secret that I'm a dog lover. We just moved my father into an independent living complex, finding one that allowed dogs (big ones, he's got a retriever like I do) was first on our list of criteria. Last week when I visited him there with my dog, I walked her through the lounge on the way out, and ended up spending about a half-hour longer there as the residents wanted to pet and play with my dog. One admonished me sternly, "you bring her back next week!"

Good advice. When I check my buddy list I usually make note of the time they last logged in, if available.

I'm curious, any fans of aspic out there?

One of the chapters in "Gulp", by Mary Roach (a whimsical look at the science behind all things involving food & digestion) she talked about the waning popularity of organ meats, and how good they were, nutritionally. I've never had sweetbreads, I'm not exactly sure what organ they are, and I'm honestly not eager to try them.

Is this one of the seven signs of senility?

I've noticed that NPR has recorded a slightly different version of the Morning Edition music, and there's a bit in the background that sounds exactly like the default iPhone ringer. (Or maybe it's always been there and I just noticed it recently...) Makes me check my phone every time. -
Why does that sound a bit suggestive? :-D

I wouldn't say "patiently" :-D https://getyarn.io/yarn-clip/d7175c4c-885a-4cbd-a57d-62f7726ac65a -
I saw a hawk in the neighbor's tree this morning, and have seen them in the nearby park. My dog's big enough that I'm not too worried, but some of the folk I meet in the park have small dogs that a hawk could easily snatch up.

One of my first-ever experiences was with a guy who gave massages out of a private studio downtown, it turned into a "he kept brushing his hardon through his shorts against my hand" and it went where you'd expect. :-) Years later, he was working at a legit spa, I got a massage from him; no play this time, given the location, but he kept rubbing and squeezing my achilles tendon, which HURT. I asked him to stop a few times, he kept zeroing back in on it, so I got up, dressed and left. Nothing like the "very very thick 9", but leaving is always an option.

I'm with @azdr0710 , there seem to be a LOT of posts about this happening to people in the past couple of weeks. Is it a new phenomenon, or has it always been happening and people are just talking about it more? (Wow, talk about a parallel to the #MeToo movement...)

"Only Fans". Am I the Only One Not Joining?
+ poolboy48220 replied to + Lance_Navarro's topic in The Lounge
agreed. I don't spend a lot of time on twitter, but I checked out a couple of porn star twitter feeds yesterday, and the onlyfans tweets overwhelmed any actual content. -
Didn't Jamie Lee Curtis do a photo shoot for some magazine withOUT the preening and retouching? I picked up a friend at the airport after his trip to South Beach. He looked around the Detroit airport & said "oh well, back to the land of ugly people..."

Me too. "I saw your ad and wondering how long you'll be in town" is usually as explicit as I get in the first text.

Is this the book you've been working on? :-P
