Monty Python was interviewed as a group at some comedy festival, they brought along an urn that supposedly held Graham Chapman's ashes. Of course it got knocked over, and they brought out a dustpan & brush, someone had a Dustbuster...funny stuff.

I hear you. Up to a year ago I loved my job. Lots of shakeups, changes, and uncertainty in the last year, and now I dread going into work every day. I'm somewhat-lackadaisically looking for new work, but my skill set has gotten VERY specific to what I do here, my "marketable" skills are rusty. And there are a LOT of advantages to this job - extremely flexible work-at-home policy (great for a single dog dad), and the money's not bad either. My father told me recently that he couldn't sleep Sunday nights, dreading going back to work. I'm not quite there yet, but I know a bit about how he feels.

Reminds me of one of my go-to gay jokes. Q: What's a lesbian bring to a second date? A: A U-Haul. Q: What's a gay man bring to a second date? A: What's a second date? Let the stereotype-bashing begin...

"On my honor". The first words of the Boy Scout oath. In his bio on the CBS Survivor page, he mentions making Eagle Scout. -
Leaving a bad review : can it haunt you?
+ poolboy48220 replied to Smurof's topic in Spas & Masseurs
Right. You can submit reviews to be published at http://daddysreviews.com. You discuss escorts/masseurs in https://www.companyofmen.org. The two are tied closely together but they are two distinct sites, reviews stay on the review site, and discussions on the forum should not go into such detail that they'd be considered reviews. -
Call me what you will, but I can't remember ever objecting to something going farther. :-D

I'm reminded of the Downton Abbey episode where Lord Grantham's white tie outfit went missing, and he had to wear black tie; his mother (Maggie Smith, the dowager countess) mistakes her son for a butler.

yeah, he doesn't look like he's 18, and he's telling the other players he's 23. -

Wow. Mike/Michael is just stunning. http://wwwimage5.cbsstatic.com/thumbnails/photos/770xh/029abf62788fb46f_michael-yerger_survivor_bs.jpg -
I've taken Megabus from Detroit to Chicago and was very pleasantly surprised; comfortable bus, equipped with a restroom, not too crowded. I paid more for a taxi from my house to the bus stop in downtown Detroit (about 8 miles) than I did for the bus ticket.

The Most Popular Cocktail in Every State, According to Google
+ poolboy48220 replied to + Avalon's topic in The Lounge
akin to someone describing a very dry martini: "Pour gin in a glass while staring at a picture of Antonio Benedetto Carpano, the man who invented vermouth". (Yes, I had to google that name.) -

And I'd question that "most-searched-for-on-Google" equates to "most popular". It could mean "What the hell is that?" followed by "that sounds nasty" :-) -

Some friends and I had a bit of a fad for them for a bit. Complete with copper mugs. I can't remember ever ordering one at a bar, but a local street fair had a Hendrick Gin booth where they were serving Moscow Mules made with Hendricks. Yummy. -

There was an episode of "Big Bang Theory" where the nurse told Howard "Sorry, we don't have a code for 'Robot Hand Grasping a Man's Penis'". fast-forward to about 2:10 -

He's been discussed in the forum before, he used to partner with a guy named Thomas. I saw him 7 or 8 years ago, it was a good massage but did not go into erotic.

Once or twice, but it's been less "retiring" and more just drifting off the radar. One was a dancer at a local club that I'd met outside the club a few times, and he messaged me out of the blue years later wondering if I was interested.

Burger King. The statue-king was creepy, and when they photograph the food it always looks off.

I'm hoping for a dark serious remake of a goofy original. I loved the new Battlestar: Galactica. -

Growing up in the 60's, a trip to McDonalds was a rare treat, and we had to drive about 4 or 5 miles to the nearest one. A friend went to college at Michigan Tech in the late 70's / early 80's, and I didn't fully realize how remote Houghton, Michigan was until he told me the nearest McDonald's was in Marquette, about an hour and a half away. -
yes, but they have a short expiry date.
