I read the script when they published it a couple of summers ago, and could see that it was written towards some amazing on-stage effects. A friend saw it in London, I would love to make it out to NYC to see it but given my usual lackadaisical attitude towards travel, it probably won't happen. Pray for a touring show that visits Detroit.

@EZEtoGRU I was there Friday about the same time you were. I didn't see many dancers to impress either. They had a big shakeup several months ago, the owner fired a lot of the long-time bartenders, promoted one of the dancers to manager, and I'm not sure if that dancer/manager is still in that role; haven't seen him in several weeks. Some of the fired bartenders are back. It's definitely not the place it was five years ago.

@Trebor, I know! The tackling part I think is hot. The shaving, not so much.

Me too! Once in a while my dog will climb down & go sleep on the futon in the guest room. If I get up & go see her, she'll wag her tail & come back to my/our room. Makes me wonder if *I'm* hogging the bed or something.

A friend visited one years ago.
