 Flakes suck. All of them.

 Clients who flake? Suck.
 Providers who flake? Also suck.
Snowflakes? Beautiful, but still technically flakes.

Let’s be clear: contrary to what seems to be the majority view, both clients and providers take losses when someone flakes, and neither side gets to declare their loss is greater by default. Loss is personal—it’s measured by the person who feels it. Time, money, energy, libido… all valuable currencies in this hobby.

I’ve never ghosted. Ever. But yes, I have cancelled—because after a provider moved the time three times over three hours, I realized I had aged a full decade waiting and still didn’t have a door number. At that point, what were we doing? We both lost—me an encounter, him a donation, and both of us a shot at something fun. Equal-opportunity disappointment.

Look, many great points have been made about how ghosting hurts providers—especially those who’ve prepped, traveled, or blocked out time. I totally agree. But the idea that providers are somehow immune to causing damage? Nope. When they fail to communicate, constantly reschedule, or underdeliver, they lose something too: goodwill. And in this world, goodwill is the glue that holds things together. (Well, goodwill… and lube.)

This hobby is a risk, plain and simple. No one walks into it bubble-wrapped and insured. Both parties can and do get burned. That’s exactly why flaking—on either side—needs to be treated like the venereal disease of behavior: preventable, irritating, and contagious if not handled.

If something comes up for a client (and I do mean comes up 👀), then at the very least, send the provider their fee. Don’t be that person. Be the kind of person you’d want to book.
Conversely… what should a provider do when they waste the client’s time? That’s the part where things get hazy—and honestly, it’s infuriating. It feels like when providers flake, the response is “Oh well, he’s probably tired.” When a client flakes? Out come the pitchforks.

And finally, as a Public Service Announcement to all the non-newbies who are warming up their fingers to pile on me for saying any of this:

Please know, I absolutely enjoy being at the bottom of a pile of moaning men.
(Just make sure you’re on time.)

Cheers and lube to all. 🥂

@Ali Gator, I might not be privy to all the juicy details of your situation, but I’ve been there too! Picture this: neighbors with perks! Here’s what I took away from my own rollercoaster ride: (1) He might be a looker, but we weren’t meant to be a provider/client duo, (2) echoing @ApexNomad and @pubic_assistance—don’t mess with your own backyard, and (3) no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn’t undo the “deeds”. My experience was a bit of a whirlwind, but when it hit the fan, it was a full-blown neighborhood drama. I ended up transferring for work, leaving everything behind. But hey, do you have that emergency escape plan of moving? Anyway, this is one spicy dilemma and am looking forward to learning about whatever happens!

I'm a provider and I have to be honest one of the worst parts of doing this is the consistent leading on and fake-outs. How are you going to talk to me for over an hour about making plans, then talk to me the entire way through the douching process, and then go MIA the second you're supposed to come over. I'm confused, is it to embarrass us or waste our time? Is it malicious? I don't get it. I'm exhausted. I'm douching my ass out, like that isn't a natural bodily process I really try not to do it unless I have to.
Either follow through or don't waste provider's time. It's cruel. If you aren't ready to actually meet up with a provider please stop putting us through this.

Notwithstanding the collective confusion on the description AND the reasonable expectation of privacy in PMs, one fact remains:
You should not put anything in writing that you’re unwilling to see published in the front page of the New York Times. While there is a presumption of privacy on the internet, it’s always a risk.

Just back from a trip to NY and scheduled a session with Nick because his pictures and this thread intrigued me. Below is what I posted on RentMasseur. As you can see, I had a fantastic time:

I reached out to Nick before a quick trip to NY because I was impressed by his 5-star reviews and attracted to his dark good looks. His warm and gracious communications over the next few days cemented my decision. But I wasn't prepared for what I saw when I showed up at his comfortable studio in midtown. He opened the door, and I lost my breath. In person, he is even more handsome than his pictures, but it goes deeper than that--there is something spiritual and soulful about him, a deep desire to make YOU feel good. He greeted me with a hug--he's a great hugger! His massage and the stretching and the body-to-body contact he does are all intimate and knowing, deeply therapeutic, intensely connected. I left from his studio and went directly to the airport, where I proceeded to have a flight-from-hell and a 5-hour delay. But I was smiling the whole time. After my session with Nick, I felt like I was floating back home.

OK, I got massage by the Karpathian Wolf himself. Who wants the details?
He came over my place, stripped naked immediately, and gave me a really strong massage. He uses ALL body parts - especially knees. He's extremely hot and really worked me out. At the end of the massage, he hopped off my back and said that that was the full massage. I said "but you haven't turned me over and done the front" and he said "ok, flip over but I don't do masturbation". I was fine with that, since the actual massage was really good. So he came close to touching it, but didn't. I was hard as a rock at this point - so I just jerked off while he intensely watched. It was a little awkward, but I got off and I got a great massage. Oh yeah, he sweats A LOT and drips on you - if you're not into sweat, this isn't the massage for you. However, if you are indifferent or are into it - it's hot as fuck. He's super clean - so it's just wet sweat, not smelly sweat. and AGAIN, he's really really hot. It was definitely a very different massage.
Sometimes Im looking for an actual strong massage, sometimes I'm looking to suck some dick, and sometimes I'm looking for touch and affection. Depends on my mood. Next time I'm looking for a strong, well done massage, Karpathian Wolf is definitely my call.
I hire off rentmasseur at least once a week in either NYC or LA, so I know a lot of the massage guys in these two cities and will give my absolute most honest reviews, if asked. I wish there was a function on that site where a massage guy can see that I am on and looking for a massage and make offers!

PoundMeOnaPlane reacted to + KensingtonHomo in Forwarding Client Experiences to Providers PoundMeOnaPlane reacted to + KensingtonHomo in Forwarding Client Experiences to Providers
A few weeks ago, I shared an experience where a provider injured me - unintentionally - during an encounter. Someone here either screen-grabbed it or sent the link to the provider in question. Last night, I received a multi-paragraph and fairly overwrought message from the provider saying how awful he felt, and he couldn't sleep, and could he make it up to me for free.
Here's the problem. When it happened, I was bleeding. I told him I was bleeding and had to use his bathroom. The bleeding wasn't severe, and it's not my first time at the rodeo. Obviously, that was the end of the session, and I have no desire to see him again.
He did not at that time offer me a free session to make up for it. Nor did he message me the next day to say he couldn't sleep.
I also didn't leave him a bad review on Rent.men because while he was too aggressive I don't think he meant to hurt me. I only shared my experience here because someone was considering him, and I wanted them to know he got too aggressive with me. So to have that sent to him sucks.
As for his message, it feels more like public relations than sincerity. Again, didn't offer to comp a session, took his full fee, etc. And, honestly, didn't seem that broken up by it at the time.
Thanks to whoever made me relive a bad experience and then a guilt-inducing message from the person responsible.

I am old. In my honesty, I tend to ramble in my conversation. Even the house cat regards me with scorn. Too, I am not given to indulging my critics in their diatribes. My recommendation to you is to forego my posts if you find them tedious in the reading. Succinctly put, shove off, sailor.

I have been caring for an elderly friend/former client for that last couple years. At 90 years old he was begging me to hire him an escort because he hadn't had sex for a few years since his heart attack and didnt want to die without having one last great shag!

I’ll be 82 in a couple of months and I’m still raring to go. True, the body parts are wearing out and nothing works quite the way it used to. But, a couple of weeks between orgasms, a couple of viagra, a couple of a hundred dollars, and the right provider do the trick. I have always been a chicken hawk, and today “chicken” for me is definitely someone over 30…or more…someone who has been around the block a couple of times, who understands they are not god’s gift to the world, who are skillful at what they do, who understand that they are in business and each of us have a role in the transaction. My role is to respect them and their work, to be flexible in setting up appointments as with any professional, to be clear on what I am buying, to pay the fee asked, to show up on time clean and prepared, to be complimentary as appropriate, to express gratitude for a service well rendered, to write positive reviews on their ad page and on COM, and to be a loyal repeat client. In the situations where it works best, I have become the old guncle who shares whatever wisdom I have gained in a long life and they share the excitement of youth and change. With the right person that goes beyond sagging tits and a limp dick.

Your hopes just took a nosedive, and I’m here to share in your sigh. An electrifying moment ruined by a tirade over… a missed call. Fear not! Plenty of other providers are ready to whisk you away to your dreamland without the drama. @dcman nailed it. If the adventure kicks off like this, the end of the adventure will probably join the party.

PoundMeOnaPlane reacted to + DiscerningNYC in NYC Newbie: Irongrip PoundMeOnaPlane reacted to + DiscerningNYC in NYC Newbie: Irongrip
Pleased to report that I’ve taken (another) one for the team.
Hired RMass Irongrip a few weeks ago for a 60 min massage at $250. Profile pics accurately matched the person that appeared at the door, all lean, muscled, smooth, and cut. His handsome face is perforated by unexpectedly kind eyes. Apparently he’s an Irish-Italian mix, which explains the fair skin and the dark hair. Solid B-grade massage -- with MT and with HE but lacking sensual elements -- despite no official massage training.
Provider identifies as heterosexual, expressing no noticeable dissonance between that identity and the RMass presence on the premise that the services offered are merely a method of making great money with less effort than required by his construction day-job.
If you gravitate towards red-neck looks, and/or to fellows recovering from residency on the wrong side of the tracks, Irongrip/Connor nicely fits the bill, outer-borough accent included.
I can’t say with certainty if I would hire Irongrip again. I will say that Connor is one mouthwateringly HOT dude. And I might just relent. [end]
