Oh! Where to begin? 🎼 … love … exciting and new … come aboard … we’re expecting you 🎼 🎼 meet George Jetson … his boy Elroy … daughter Judy … Jane his wife … 🎼 🎼 here’s the story … of a lovely lady 🎼 When I would hear the theme to the sitcom “Soap” I knew I was about to laugh uproariously! Dynasty, Falcon Crest, North and South … anything by Bill Conti … that saxophone in the Knots Landing theme … 🎼 Green Acres is the place to be 🎼 As soon as I quit I’ll think of a dozen more, lol! Something of an obscure reference but “Flying High” that CBS 1-season “Charlie’s Angels” knockoff about flight attendants. That was a fairly catchy theme song by David Shire if I’m not mistaken. https://youtu.be/_RR2C-8AOk0?si=fR_Q14U1fQz9QIKh Apologies - I can’t figure out how to embed the video. I’m an old man.

Dude, go back to reading books. Like the poster above me I do not have a television. My Kindle has over 20 books on it and goes with me everywhere. Or I can listen to music. YouTube is already increasing ads but occasionally there’s something worth watching. And I can watch on my phone. I’m more of an introvert so I don’t make conversation easily but I can always disappear into a book.

Simple. Honest. No trimming, no re-touching, probably got that body just by working and doing chores. Just a man with no clothes. Lovely.

When did college-age men stop developing chest hair? Or is this a fraternity thing?

Musically I’m all over the place. My iTunes playlist defies description. That said, in the car it’s either classical or classic 80’s. Also, “Classic Country”, which, for me, is pretty much anything pre-90’s going back to late 60’s (yes, I am that old) and predominantly female. Exception - 1994-1996 country brings back happy memories of my 1st husband.

I’m sorry to be a smart-ass - all right, maybe I’m not - but it’s just where my head and mood are tonight - does anyone know where I can find a brevity program? For people who are ready to check out? Seriously, I don’t want longer life - I didn’t prepare for it. I suppose I could just start drinking again. But I wanna die having succeeded at something. And I’ve succeeded at not drinking for 15 years. Yeah, I know, I’m being a dick. But I read “longevity program”, assuming longer life, and my first thought was that there has to be program for those of us who want a shorter life. Without self-harm. I don’t say any of this to invite pity or scorn. Yeah, I’m weird. @BSR, if you want longer life, go for it.

What we look like - Why does it matter so much now?
mtaabq replied to viewing ownly's topic in Questions About Hiring
Good morning. It would appear that my take on it is very different. I’ve always assumed that I was being asked for a pic so the provider would know for whom he was opening his door or whom he could expect when the door was opened when he arrives for the session. I’m sure there are providers who’ve chosen not to work with me upon seeing my photo or reading my profile. And, for me, that’s all right. I do not wish to work with someone who doesn’t wish to work with me. Apologies if I do not have a firm grasp on the topic being discussed. -
You and me both, Roxy. Apologies for veering off-topic. Thanks to everyone who has responded thus far with your AIDS/HIV survival stories.

I am not ashamed to say that I am strangely attracted … and aroused.

BUMP Trying to learn something about this man. Thank you.

My success in hiring on Grindr is very, very limited. Two (2) in fact. I was away from home (traveling) both times. Nice guys and good (but not great) sessions. When at home, pretty much nothing. I, too, get the Middle Eastern guys occasionally, and other nationalities as well; they all want to communicate off Grindr usually on WhatsApp. I don’t even try anymore.

G*ddamn! That treasure trail!

I have to admire and respect your candor.

I’m listening to it right now on “Live From The Met” on the classical music radio station. And it’s a beautiful day.

Face photos are now on his profile. “Handsome” is subjective but I would describe him as good-looking. I’m curious if anyone has anything to report about a in-person experience with this man. Thank you.

I just love what is produced in America’s Dairyland! Nice basket!

I don’t believe many of us use magazines anymore for “whacking material”. I do have an 80’s era “Playgirl” that I found at a vintage store in Palm Springs. It’s fun to take out occasionally and share with friends and comment on “beauty standards” of 40+ years ago. I also have a box of old gay rags, “Honcho”, “Inches”, “Playguy” and the like, that I discovered at a garage sale. Again, fun to take them out and remember who and what we thought was “hot” back in the day. And yes, as a young man I would get the Sears catalog and go right to the men’s underwear pages. (This was long before Calvin Klein told us it was all right to objectify the male body in white briefs.) But whacking? Thank you, no. I’ve got my memories and my phone.

Dude does appear to have a nice cob on him. “Corn Stars”? Being from Illinois I’m surprised the Mommies have allowed that one to remain.

For me, one word - luck. Truthfully, given my activity and proclivities, I am at a loss to explain how I am still here and how I survived relatively unscathed. (For context, I “came of age” to mansex in the early 80’s when I turned 17. And to be honest, I was probably too stupid to understand the incredible risks that I was taking. Alcohol, I am certain, clouded my judgment.) Condom use was hit or miss, yet somehow I remained HIV negative. Abstention from sex left a great deal to be desired. The clap? Yes, a couple of times, but I usually knew a doctor who could get me the antibiotics so I was spared a visit to the “free clinic”. I started taking Prep when it was suggested to me by a provider whose opinion I highly respected and when I learned it was available to me for zero co-pay. At 62 and overweight my pool of suitors these days is greatly reduced, but those who favor me with their attention are on Prep and I tend to avoid those who are not. I do not take it for granted that I was spared when so many were taken from us.
