  1. I usually visit my barber every three weeks. I'm now more than seven weeks since my last visit. I've also sprouted a beard in this work from home environment. We'll see what happens when I can return to the office.
  2. I enjoyed the show Friday night and would do another. I liked this one more than the offering two weeks ago, when I felt the banter and stories went on too long. This week they did better breaking up the narrative with the contests. Although I've been on the mailing list for a couple of years, I've never been able to attend an Adonis event when in town. For me, these shows will help me prioritize attending one the next time I'm in NYC/LA.
  3. Same fogging up the eyewear for me. While I did my shopping without glasses just fine, I'm not sure how long I would be able to work with foggy lenses if my office reopens to working on-site.
  4. Just returned home from my weekly trip to the grocery. Took longer than usual as I needed to grab a couple of items from the pharmacy section and it has been rearranged since the last time I bought bar soap. The men's Dove soap had been moved to be located with the shaving items and not the other bar soap. While there was no toilet paper on the shelves, this week the other paper products (facial tissues, paper towel) were fully stocked. I wore a mask (received in yesterday's mail from my mother who had made some) rather than the scarf I have worn out the last two weeks. It was surprising that nearly a third of the customers and half of the employees were not wearing masks. As I drove home, I realized that I have not filled the gas tank since I started working from home five weeks ago. And I still have more than a half tank left.
  5. As I made dinner here in central Ohio, where I have seen the snow falling today, I decided that I would pretend that I was having dinner at Tropicale as I have the last two years on Friday evening. Hope all of my Palm Springs pals, including the "breakfast guys" at InnDulge are all doing well. Take care y'all.
  6. I'll give it one more shot - - nothing else to fill my Friday night.
  7. Drinking more - yes. But for me that means that in the last five weeks I've consumer one bottle of wine and half a bottle of Bombay Sapphire.
  8. Received this message from a friend today... Of all the things I learned in grade school, how to avoid cooties was the last one I expected to use.
  9. No, not today. For me, the current situation has completely crashed my desire to be with anyone. Even the content in the "Hottest Massage Video Ever?" thread isn't doing anything for me the last two weeks. If that were to change, who knows whether I would ask you for his contact info.
  10. Happy Birthday, Eric. I too am enjoying your twitter posts. Thank you.
  11. The best thing to do is to continue making contributions. The deferred taxes helps and hopefully the market will rebound by the time you retire.
  12. PK - thanks for sharing your journey in this unusual time. Please know, we will read whatever you wish to share. As insightful as reading these posts have been to me, I pray that they also provide some relief to you. Sending a great big virtual hug your way.
  13. You know what they say, "photos or it didn't happen."
  14. And I just finished the last of the Dunkin Donuts hazelnut......
  15. Crap - I forgot to buy coffee Saturday. I'll have to limit myself to one cup a day until I get to Saturday.
  16. I do not. I have several friends that have problems with certain behaviors: smoking, drug use, gambling, motorcycle riding, and anonymous sex hookups to name a few. All are able to consider past behaviors as different than current behaviors. So while they would never date someone who is currently a smoker, they would have no problems dating someone who smoked years ago. I would think that if any of them had an opposition to sex for pay, they would focus on the current and not the past behavior.
  17. I did not know this place existed. I'm a little intrigued. Unfortunately, the one male is listed as straight.
  18. When you say you got the last one, do you mean that last single pack, or the multi-pack option was gone as well?
  19. Adamexplorer's only fans page is @trevor-adams
  20. Today was my first trip out since I started this thread. The Meijer store I went to was pretty well stocked. The only area that seemed sparsely inventoried was the dairy. (I didn't make it back to the paper/cleaning supply section.) Plenty of chocolate milk, soy milk, and fat-free, but not much 2%. While most types of cheese were on the shelf, I couldn't find provolone and chose swiss in its place. The meat counter was closed and all of the meats were now packaged. At the deli counter, they were still slicing meat and cheese upon request, but also had quite a bit of pre-packaged items available in a cooler. All of the salads one would typically purchase at the deli was packaged and available. And the bakery still made donuts this morning, but rather than self-serve, they were all pre-packaged.
  21. I have debated stopping, but with a only $10 co-pay and solid test results - - I'm just not sure what to do.
  22. I thought about it, but I'll have the credit at InnDulge to use, so having airfare to use will make scheduling it easy.
  23. Wake up and listen to the radio for 30 minutes before getting out of bed. (usual routine.) Stumble out to kitchen to take morning meds and a glass of water. Climb back in bed for 30 minutes. Shower, brush my hair (I quit shaving, blow drying my hair, and using hair product two weeks ago), and dress casually. Log into work computer and make connection to work servers, check for any urgent emails. Make and eat breakfast. Work from 8 - 5. At 8:30 make first cup of coffee, second around 9:30. Make lunch at noon before my first of two daily COVID-19 status calls. Do BAU work and meetings. until my second daily COVID-19 status call at 4:30. Send summary email to my boss. Make and eat dinner by 6:00. (many nights I'm still in the office until 7:00, so I'm ahead of the game.) 6:30 NBC Nightly News 7:00 check on neighbors check personal email and see how you all are doing while watching TV before climbing in bed.
  24. Last Thursday, I received an email from a neighbor suggesting that since we have several 'single' (mostly widowed) residents in the condo association of 64 units, we could all step out on front porch at 7:00 and wave at each other. Thursday evening's event went well we mostly waved hello and may have chatted across the street for about five minutes in the cold temps. The consensus was that it was fun and we should keep it up. On Friday, another neighbor suggested we should have a daily beverage we can each have to add to the sense of community. Friday's was a Manhattan since NYC had been announced as shelter in place. (That hadn't started in Ohio yet.) I missed that email, so I was stepped out without the assigned beverage. On Saturday, the temps were to be cooler so the recommended drink for the evening was cocoa and Bailey's. (I fell asleep watching TV and missed joining the neighbors.) On Sunday, since Gov. DeWine had announced the mandatory Stay at Home rules, the beverage for the evening was wine (or whine), either red or white. Since I had over 20 bottles to select from, check. I've now realized we are no longer staying on our porches and yelling. We are migrating to the street, but still keeping six feet apart (expect the couples who were cuddling to keep warm.) On Monday, there were no beverage instructions, so I and the neighbors closest to my condo all showed up without a beverage. Today, the beverage was the one everyone was waiting to enjoy - Corona with a lime. I didn't have a corona, so I conformed to the best of my ability with a gin and tonic (and lime.) The gathering stretched to 30 minutes. Looking forward to tomorrow's email with our designated beverage.
