I rarely watch films but was killing time in a hotel room this week and watched The Sugarland Express, Steven Spielberg's first directorial movie effort. It depicts a real life story of a young outlaw couple fighting to get their child back from foster adoption. It apparently launched Goldie Hawn's career. Anyway they become instant folk heroes as they are being chased by police all over Texas. Something similar is going on here.

When I first saw the pic on the left I had the same recollection of the infamous Lee Harvey Oswald shooting in Dallas, down to the two sheriffs escort, with the one on the left in a tan suit. I can report in general terms that the first date fell through when he texted me he was sick as I was driving to Toronto.
