  1. Yes. Let me qualify that from my perspective. When I was young I tried fucking women and did enjoy being a top. Now I have been strictly gay and mostly a bottom for the last 40 years. I have been with gay men, bi and gay for pay. Variety is nice and as long as the sex is good I don’t have an issue. My current regular is bi and has a wife and kid. He’s a great top and I love it when he sleeps with me. I don’t begrudge the fact that he goes home to sleep with his wife.
  2. I just notice United Health Group stock is in a free fall today. It’s dropped 22 percent or over $100 in value since opening this morning. Wonder what is going on. That is billions of dollars in value.
  3. I’m old enough to remember when two jumbo jets collided on the runway in the Azores ( or Canary Islands, I forget which). Over 500 people were killed in that one accident.
  4. I am assuming the 2001 data included the 9/11 attacks which saw 4 commercial jetliners crashed by terrorists killing all aboard. All in one day. That made for a completely skewed set of data for 2001.
  5. Years ago when I was working and travelled a lot overseas I was always booked into 5 star hotels in places like London, Paris, Geneva and Brussels. I ate at very good high end restaurants all on the boss’s dime. Then I retired and came back to earth. But that didn’t mean staying at cheap hotels or dining in chain fast food places. I choose hotels with an eye on value for money. So like another poster above I will go for the better rooms in a four star rather than a standard room in a 5 star. I will eat at a good restaurant that has real table cloths, a maître d’ and good wine list but avoid overpriced trendy places that are pretentious. If I don’t know the restaurant before going in I ask to see the menu before choosing to stay (assuming there are other good choices in the area). This wouldn’t work if I am driving. As for the provider I will make suggestions in advance about the dining options and make sure the type of food served is acceptable for dietary reasons. I draw the line at vegetarian or vegan places. If that is their only choice I skip the meal part of the date and go straight to fucking.
  6. Most of his potential clients are Canadians. $400 is $400 to them.

It’s no loss for Toronto clients imo. I was scrolling through the RM offerings currently and there is no shortage of hot and interesting providers. Even quite a few visiting from abroad. Toronto is a good market with lots of motivated clients with the wherewithal to pursue this hobby. It’s a very affluent market on a par with major American cities. Maybe a bit fewer clients than NY and LA but on a par with 2nd tier cities like Chicago and Miami.

How did you send him a message? Not on RM I assume.

I know they would not agree but I think they should require escorts advertising on their site to post contact info. Otherwise they are defeating the purpose of their service, which is a disservice to those of us who are premium clients and pay to use their platform.

I contacted RM about it and yes they cannot do anything about it, as they informed me. They said they can’t force an escort advertising on their website to provide contact info. I replied then what was the point of the ad other than to promote OF content. Haven’t heard back.

I know he is real but he presents himself on RM as a travelling escort. And that is the phony part. He has no intention of coming to any of the half dozen cities in Canada that he currently has listed. He gives no contact info so impossible to set up a session. He is only advertising his OF content.
  12. The poem was titled Ode to Immortality.

    Moan or grunt?

I’m neither. I verbalize a lot during sex. I like my top to know what pleases me and I try to please him too. Communicating by words and actions go hand in hand, I think.
  14. Read an obit today about an American actor I had never heard of but that’s not unusual as I don’t watch the movies anymore. But a line attributed to him struck me as funny. “Never name drop. De Niro told me that.”
  15. No. It’s a poem by Wordsworth with that phrase that gave a title to a movie that made stars of Warren Beatty and Natalie Wood back in the early 60’s. The theme is that as life goes on, the magic of youth is lost but something worthwhile remains.

Dennis now appears to be playing the same routine in Canada. He has a half dozen cities listed in the next half month or so and indicates he is in Montreal now on RM. But he gives no phone number to call or messaging on RM. What a phony.
  17. Yet another example of when flying isn’t safe. The helicopter crash in NYC this last week is yet another reminder of how capricious flying can be. It’s not as if this was an isolated event. This year there have been numerous crashes in the US involving smaller planes and helicopters. Of course the statistics indicate flying is still relatively safe. But just imagine dropping out of the sky unexpectedly, having a half minute or so to realize your life is over. I’ve done my fair share of flying in my lifetime in planes large and small. I got used to it although was a nervous flyer at the beginning. Car crashes are different. They happen in the blink of an eye. Plane crashes generally play out over a minute or so. Sometimes even much longer. The anguish and fear must be awful.
  18. He might be a case of “Splendour in the Grass”.
  19. I responded a couple of times to this thread but got confused between the Latino who was first introduced and the second, a guy from Canada’s east coast. It is the second guy who is based in Montreal who I contacted last year. Since then another forum member has told us his career in porn has taken off. That would explain his now elevated prices and new restrictions on services he provides, eg anal. For those two reasons I wouldn’t hire him.
  20. Most of the landscapers in my small town are women.
  21. I’m surprised your energy investments are doing well this year. Here in Canada they are taking a drubbing. Alberta is our big producer of oil and gas and their government is heading into big deficits. OPEC recently increased their production limits which is pushing down further the price of oil. The federal government here just took off the tax on energy on consumers and we are witnessing a huge drop in gas prices at the pump, combined with the lower price of crude. The tax came off natural gas too but the heating season is just about over. My heating bills were high this winter as we had colder than average temperatures.
  22. Anecdotally there are many indications that a recession has started. All the trade uncertainty has fed into the financial markets, creating a new uncertainty concerning people’s wealth and financial security. The inevitable result will be a retrenchment in spending and investing which will impact employment levels. All this spells recession.
  23. Yesterday’s events in Washington showed how uncoordinated the Administration is on the tariff issue with various officials saying different things at the same time. I call that unplanned chaos.
  24. Isn’t living in interesting times a Chinese curse?
  25. No. It’s just unplanned chaos. Politics redacted.
