  1. And he’s coming to Toronto! May have to make a pilgrimage.
  2. When was 40 I was 5’11 and a half and weighed 160 pounds. I had a 31” waist and was slim. Today I am 78 and 5’11” (lost a half inch) and 175 pounds. 34 inch waist.
  3. Don’t firemen have a height restriction?

I agree. Toronto has a lot of interesting escorts.
  5. Where did he say he was a fireman or give his age. 160 pounds seems small for a fireman if he is one.
  6. My reading of the OP is different from yours. It seemed to me he was out of shape and wanted to get fit, not necessarily add bulk.
  7. You’re looking in the wrong place.
  8. I was always happy with my figure. I only trained to keep fit. If you gain muscle mass you have to buy a whole new set of clothes. I can still wear suits and jackets from 30 or more years ago.
  9. Yes. Look it up if you doubt me.
  10. I understand there’s some money in New York City.
  11. All of that sounds very disciplined and methodical in its execution. You must have a very regular life to stick to such a routine. In my working days I also worked gym and trainers into my regular schedule. Except I travelled a lot for business so many interruptions in my routine. After I retired I was able to maintain a more regular routine. Now many years later I mostly swim and do a little exercise at the gym. No more trainers.
  12. Interesting you wrote “right of passage”. The term is “rite of passage”. Quite different from right.
  13. I beg to differ. I saw KS up close and on many of my friends starting around 1983. The lesions were purplish and on their arms, legs and torsos, which were the exposed ones. Others lurked in hidden spots on the body. We were all terrified of them. An ex- lover had them. Others were afflicted with the pneumonia and weight loss. I witnessed this in the gay community in Canada, Florida and California up until about 1994/95. By that point the drug cocktails kicked in and many recovered at least partially. Others had suffered too much damage and died a few years later despite the advances in drugs. I don’t know but I assume anyone on treatment now does not get KS or pneumonia (I forget the name) and can lead a normal life. Meaning they will die from some other cause.
  14. The dark mark looks like a KS from the days of AIDs. Ugh.
  15. His dancing style is a bit like John Travolta’s in SNF but more muscular and athletic.
  16. Puppy love. Ain’t it great.
  17. We actually have had a beautiful summer here in eastern Canada and now September is gorgeous. But winter is still coming.
  18. Ironically, the major Commonwealth countries have as difficult a time to amend their constitutions as the US does. Perhaps for different US reasons as the US has a history of amending their constitution since the republic was founded. But today it seems any amendment such as to the Electoral College would appear remote. Getting back to Prince Harry his chances of ever mounting the throne are equally remote.
  19. The role of the monarchy in Canada, the largest and oldest of the British former colonies that became “independent” in 1867, is embedded in its constitution. This was last revised in 1982, when the government of Pierre Trudeau, “repatriated” it to Canada from being a British piece of legislation. It retained the British monarch as Canada’s head of state. All Canadian legislation today is therefore done in the monarch’s name. Symbolic of this, Charles recently opened parliament and read the speech from the throne. To remove the monarchy from Canada’s government would require a constitutional amendment which the reformed constitution of 1982 made extremely difficult politically. The provinces would have a major say in such a decision. While not impossible to conceive, it would open a Pandora’s box of issues, not least Quebec sovereignty. Charles’ and his successor’s security on the Canadian throne thus looks fairly secure at this point in history.
  20. This story was reported on Canadian news outlets. Our CBC throws a wide net for news and Australia is definitely covered on a regular basis for news items.
  21. That day was as impactful in most of Canada as in the US since those of us who live in Eastern Canada share the same time zone as Nee York and experience the same daily routines in real time. I was on my way to my family doctor for an appointment at 9:15 and shortly before 9 the car radio announced that the BBC was reporting a plane had struck the WTC. When I got to the doctor’s office no one in the waiting room seemed aware but when I got back from seeing the doctor there was a buzz. On returning home I watched the second plane hit the north tower. I knew then this meant war.
  22. Good or bad?
  23. If you don’t like male gingers that prejudices you right from the start. 😆
  24. Canada’s contestant is an embarrassment. I like Switzerland’s but never saw a guy like that when I lived there. Wow.
  25. If the monarchy is to survive I think they will need a drastic slimming down. That means dropping all the hangers on from the Royal list. Just keep the immediate family on the payroll. Also scale back massively on the real estate. Too many palaces and castles. The majority would make very nice museums. People would pay to go see them. And a future government should make rejoining the EU a platform to get elected on. Brexit was a colossal mistake.
