  1. He’s a tad short for my tastes but otherwise yummy.
  2. Wrapping your legs around a horse is good practice for wrapping them around a top in the missionary position. Same muscles come into play.
  3. Well, I have one thing in common with him. I also love horses and used to ride in a hunt in my youth. English saddle, like Brent is sitting on.
  4. That’s one down.
  5. Here it is: SILENO Basso-relievo di Ottimo stile, alto palmi 2. Presso di me per vendersi Silenus is a Greek character who is portrayed as a drunken follower of Dionysus, He was shown as bald, fat with thick lips. Because he was often portrayed in a drunken state, he would be supported by a couple of satyrs. My print illustrates this perfectly. SILENO is in the centre and is being held up by a muscular lad with his back to us, leaning into the old man who is shown with a long beard. The youth has his right arm around the chest and under Sileno’s left arm. The satyr’s left arm is holding Sileno’s left wrist. What is most striking are the muscular buttocks of the young satyr, who is leaning into the weight of the older man and has his legs separated. The satyr on the right is in side relief. You see his youthful attractive face. His body is muscular. My rough translation is that this scene is a bas relief from an ancient sculpture on the wall of a villa. The second phrase after 2. I think is a description of the scene. Oscar Wilde is who I was thinking of when recalling that expression about hell. I think Tallula Bankhead could also have uttered a similar sentiment as she was pretty witty herself.
  6. I think you can get it done much cheaper in some foreign countries. And the results are just as good. But since I ‘m not interested I‘ve never looked into it further.
  7. On his RM ad, one of his hashtags is #cashmaster. Lol
  8. An escort friend of mine sent me some pictures yesterday of Cancun where he currently is visiting. The weather is gorgeous and the beaches looked pretty empty. He said he was going to stay for several more weeks. I would love to join him but we have a stay at home order here in Ontario, Canada, for the next month. ?
  9. Looking back at my post I said reaction and maybe that will not be the case. But I would think that something exogenous brought about the quick onset of the disorder.
  10. I am aware of that and worded my post with that in mind. The article said the case is under investigation. I’m sure the autopsy and the man’s medical record will be studied closely. Interesting that he was a doctor so there should be good medical records in his case. At least, one would hope.
  11. Another artist from the 19th century who went in for the muscular male nude body was Gustav Dore, the French artist who illustrated Dante’s Purgatory, Hell and Paradise. I have the original 19th century set of 2 volumes. The men in purgatory and hell are quite delectable! The ones in paradise, not so much. Reminds me of an American who said “I want to go to hell, as that’s where my friends will be.”
  12. I’m an eclectic collector of art and have three 19th century lithographs of homoerotic art depicted by the ancients. One is a print of a statue of Antinous, a beautiful young man romantically linked to one of the Emperors of Rome ( I forget which one). The second is entitled SILENO. followed by Latin words which I could try to translate with my 4 years of high school Latin but won’t. And the third is my favourite, is entitled The Spartan’s Temperance Lesson. It is copyrighted by Gebbie, 1887. All three have lovely depictions of muscular or lithe young men. I don’t agree the NYTimes is going low brow by featuring this aspect of art from the period of the Masters. As the author notes, a lot of artistic criticism of these pieces even as late as the 1970’s skirted around gay themes in ancient art. Too prurient, they would have said, if asked. I think we are getting to be a bit more honest about sexuality these days, even in the “high arts”.
  13. There is a report in the UK Guardian on this case as well.

  15. And if I had to sum it up in one word, it would be “commitment “. Everything’s else like love, companionship, obedience, fidelity and enjoyment stems either from the commitment you give to caring for a dog or lack thereof.
  16. That pretty well sums it up.
  17. I beg to differ. I like to think I do my bit to give the top as much pleasure as he gives to me. It’s work too but someone has to do the dirty work to get things done properly. Lol.
  18. I once saw a sleep study and it found people migrate all over their bed while sleeping. Do you wake up in exactly the same place you fell asleep? To do a test you could place a coin in the middle of the other side of the bed on the lower sheet and see if it has moved by the morning. ?
  19. I like Leo Giamani’s porn performances a lot. How was he as an escort?
  20. There was the recent case in Miami where a 56 yo male doctor died a short time after getting his first shot of the Pfizer vaccine. He had a very rare reaction (he broke out in tiny red spots and quickly went to the emergency) which proved fatal in about 3 days. His name was Dr. Michaels and his wife said he was a very healthy individual. Scary but rare.
  21. I had had a dog the last 7 years I worked but my life already was structured by the demands of my career. Getting a new dog 8 years after I retired necessitated taking care of his requirements for exercise and more regularity to the routine of daily life. I made it a practice, as I had with my earlier dog, of walking him in the morning, and then since I now had the time, again in the late afternoon. An evening walk also was fairly routine unless I was going out for the evening. Dogs are not like having cats, which I have also had. They require attention every day and if you live alone you have to consider how they will fit into your routine. You may have to make adjustments to how you spend your days. I would never have a dog if it meant leaving him or her alone all day in the house or a backyard, isolated from people. They love to be around people.
  22. In the 1970's so-called "gay villages" sprang up in major cities in North America. These were neighborhoods where gays could live, work and play in a sympathetic and supportive environment. At the same time they were surrounded by a major metropolis which could provide all the amenities that weren't available in the gay village itself. The ones I remember the best were the Castro District in San Francisco, the West Village in New York City, Church and Wellesley in Toronto and Le Village in Montreal. I ended up living in Le Village for 13 years during its heyday around the turn of the century. As time went by, many things changed in the gay life in urban centers and without going into all the changes, the idea of a gay centric place to live became less attractive or necessary. I think access to all the cultural, social and recreational amenities is important but they don't have to be all within 20 blocks of where you live. The ones you don't use every day can be a little further away. Of course, which ones you want close by will probably determine where you want to live ideally. I just think you have to be willing to compromise a little in choosing.
  23. He was on my radar a couple of years ago when he was living in Canada. For some reason I never contacted him. I think his current ad is more interesting than the one I saw then. But so many men, so little time...
  24. I would think a conversation would have to be held beforehand as to what positions the different players are expected to play. I have hired a gay escort couple where one was a top and the other versatile. As a bottom, I found this to be ideal, even better than hiring two tops. The important thing is to try to ensure everyone is having a good time all the time and no-one is left on the sidelines. That's why a couple who play different positions works best for me. Providers may see it otherwise of course. But with gay couple clients I would suppose at least one is a bottom. It would seem an escort who is versatile could please both partners. Of course it also depends on what activities are contemplated. Lots to think about but then if you're going to be shelling out a considerable sum for the entertainment, it's worth it to do your homework first. IMO
  25. That took some effort on my part to post. Still getting used to providing links. Enjoy the read.
