  1. This is indeed sad news, not only because of the fact of Guy’s death and the loss to those who knew him personally, but to the larger community who participated on this site. I fervently hope somehow we can carry on exchanging thoughts and ideas here but am completely in the dark as to whether this is possible. Whichever way it goes, it’s been a fun ride with you guys.
  2. You sound like an epicure. Just on their face, I would trust your comments.
  3. I completely agree with the first sentence. With regard to the second, I have a garrulous neignbour who is a few years older than me and has always addressed me as "young man" since I met him ten years ago. Doesn't bother me at all.
  4. My friend actually looked like a Nordic god, blond, blue eyed, very good looking and had a large disposable income. He lived on the upper east side and his apartment faced the East River ( I think the east 70’s). I only saw him infrequently in those years either when I was visiting NY or he was visiting me in Europe. We had met earlier in Canada. Not a bf, just a friend. I couldn’t or wouldn’t keep up with his lifestyle.
  5. As someone who had multiple episodes of kidney stones many years ago, including several operations to bust them up and or remove them surgically, I was often prescribed opiates in case I had an attack at home in the middle of the night. I only used them sparingly, like 1 or 2 pills during an attack and never afterwards. I rarely take even aspirin or Tylenol so the effects of the Oxycodone on me were amazing, like floating on a cloud. But I never got hooked on them. I still have about 20 of the 2 dozen pills I was last prescribed in 2007.
  6. More to do with allowing the pharmaceutical industry to dry up in Canada except for the production of generics.
  7. Junk spasms are different from junk Mail.
  8. In Ontario and several other large provinces, both Pfizer and Moderna shots are now being given up to 4 months apart. This is being done to vaccinate as many people as possible as quickly as possible, in light of current supply constraints of all vaccines approved for use in Canada. If supplies improve beyond what is expected, then the second shots might conceivably be moved up. Currently the government is fretting if the EU makes good on its threat to curtail exports of vaccines since all our supplies of Pfizer and Moderna come from Europe. The US has only agreed to loan us some AstraZeneca at some indeterminate future. We are currently receiving no shipments of vaccines from America.
  9. How interesting. In English speaking Canada, gramps is a term of endearment when used in a family context. To call a stranger “gramps” depending on the context could be construed as an ageist slight.
  10. I find the first comments the ravings of a drug addict and I wouldn’t take any personal notice of them. The second I would not be offended and just chalk up to youth. I don’t think he intended to be offensive, it just came out awkwardly.
  11. One other thing is that legalization has not earned the government as much money as they had hoped or expected because the illicit market is still thriving by offering lower prices. With tobacco, taxes were increased years ago to dissuade smokers. The black market for cigarettes just boomed and government revenues suffered..
  12. Is this the same guy that was escorting in 2017? And he's 21 now??
  13. Canada legalized pot possession a couple of years ago and no big deal has resulted since then. Really a non issue. Personally I don't do drugs of any kind so I could not care less. I predict it will be the same in New York State, which happens to share a border with Ontario, where I live. I can see it every day across the river but can't go there these days. There will still be border issues and you won't be able to carry it across, I believe, as is now the case between British Columbia and the state of Washington, where it is also legal. It's unfortunate that the US cannot make it legal across the entire nation instead of this patchwork quilt approach. Tourists will be confused when visiting the States, I imagine.

You obviously never read the fine print on the rental contract. LOL

Depends how you define market. RM caters to an open market of clients and escorts that range across a broad spectrum of tastes, prices and availability in certain geographic locations. Some clients and providers are willing to travel to meet each other, others not so much. I've had experience with both. I generally aim at the experienced higher end of the market but would not hire someone for $1000 an hour. $1500 an overnight would be acceptable with some flexibility depending on time allotted and other considerations. I recognize that there are some escorts who don't advertise their services on RM and other sites but some of them no doubt started there before being scooped up by a rich sugar daddy. Sometimes they come back, once the blossom is off the rose.
  16. I had a friend from New York who in the 1980's told me with great conviction that he had seen God at the Saint. Apparently he saw God descending in a shimmering light from the ceiling. He's long dead now, sex, drugs and rock and roll claimed him before his allotted three score and ten by about thirty years.
  17. He must have as he was still standing toe to toe with the Eagle after the Eagle attacked him multiple times and decided to fly off. I'm reminded of Churchill's speech I think made in the Canadian House of Parliament in 1943 after winning the Battle of Britain when he described the British facing the Nazi's alone in 1940. I think Hitler had said Germany would wring Britain's neck like a chicken. (This was after he had wrung France's neck, France's official symbol being the rooster.) Churchill in his speech uttered one of his more memorable lines, "Some chicken, some neck"!
  18. I love the sound and sight of them flying overhead in V formation each spring and fall, heralding the arrival of the new season. To me there is something comforting that life goes on about us mere disorganized humans in such a primal yet orderly way, announced by their honking presence.
  19. He used to go by the name CoolGuy and on his old RM ad associated with that name a video of a black dick is trying unsuccessfully to penetrate his ass-hole. The top, who is the speaker, is heard off camera saying; “I can’t multi-task. Fucking and video taping at the same time lol”.
  20. I thought the guy who shot it was sorta cute too and the way he explained what he was witnessing.
  21. I've had just as much fun in all four cities and would have a hard time to choose.
  22. After Philadelphia, where I stayed for 3 days, I went to Cape Cod, my first time to P-Town. I had a blast every night. The weather was gorgeous and the men were just as hot.
  23. I wasn't there on July 4th. Maybe a week or so later. I assumed everyone had gone home with hangovers.
  24. I always thought the crack in it was symbolic, sorta like “don’t take freedom for granted” or “liberty ain’t was it’s cracked up to be”, depending on your outlook. I know I went to visit it in July of 1976 as a sort of pilgrimage during the Bicentennial celebrations. I was surprised at how few people there were about; I recall being all by myself and it was in the middle of the day.
  25. Was it ever established that it was the Canada goose that brought down Captain Sully? Could have been seagulls.
