  1. Nice pics. Also the two portraits beside the newly planted tree put a face to the name. Much appreciated.
  2. Was that trip in the middle of winter? LOL
  3. I think the Queen's longevity comes from her mother's side of the family. Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, lived to 101. The Queen's father, grandfather and great grandfather all died much younger. The Queen's four children are all lucky to have inherited such genes but genes alone do not guarantee a long life.
  4. Haha, I’ve done the Marriott Marquis scenario with an escort but never an overnight in Bermuda. If I’ve ever suffered the consequences, at least I’ve never been aware of it. Never had an escort cancel on me after agreeing to a date. So I guess I choose pretty well.
  5. I have known fairly intimately a number of what I would call very rich people, not super rich like a Bill Gates, but the type who don’t worry if their money will run out and what will be left for their children or grandchildren. The type who inherited millions on their 21 st birthdays or married into the same kind of wealth, going back generations, To every single one, they knew the value of money and were and are careful while spending it. They live well, even grand lives, but appear to me to be exceedingly value conscious. They know the difference between gold and dross.
  6. Please take this comment in a humorous vein but when I see that one of the invited guests to your party is jacktheripper, I think of those old detective series on television like Columbo, the guy who always wore a trench coat. Picture this: a body is found floating face down in a private pool in Palm Springs after a riotous party the evening before. A detective arrives with notebook in hand and asks the host of the party for a list of the guests at the party. The list is produced which includes "jacktheripper". Case closed. LOL
  7. I have done this combo of ketchup and mayo a few times. It’s good as a condiment for certain things. But I prefer mayo by itself, even with French fries which I only eat seldom since they are not very good for one as a deep fried food.
  8. or raspberry jam. Ummmm
  9. I am fortunate in that I have been able to eat anything all my life. I have no food allergies or allergies of any other kind which is fortunate because my mother did have some serious allergies. Now in my 70's I still eat whatever I want but I tend to eat a healthy diet most of the time and don't snack between meals so my weight seldom fluctuates more than a couple of pounds. I only get weighed at the doctor's office once a year and I am going next week. I know I have put on maybe 8 pounds or so since the pandemic started. I threw out my scales decades ago since I don't need them.
  10. Maybe whoever finds Spider will finish off the glass while waiting for the paramedics.
  11. I don’t know how the other party feels about your “arrangement” but it sounds to me like this may be a case of less is more.
  12. You seem to be unaware that in many countries, because of the limited supplies of vaccines, they are being spread out to the most people and second shots are being delayed by up to 4 months. This is how most of Europe is dealing with it and now Canada. The US and Israel are the only western countries giving both shots according to the producers’ guidelines. They have adequate supplies to do this.

  14. Oh I remember him. He was a fixture for quite a while. The dancers would gravitate to his table near the dance floor. He would pass out paper money like it was napkins.

  16. You are being very sensible about how you are handling this from the provider view point. I feel much the same from the client point of view. I have had one dose of Pfizer but will not be getting the second for a couple more months. By that time, after waiting two weeks for the full effects of immunization to take place, I will be ready to hire again. I hired a number of times last summer after the first wave when cases dropped way down. Continued in the fall hiring but the second wave at Christmas shut things down for me and I have not hired since. The dilemma in a few months will be whether providers will also have received their shots, since they are much younger and further back in line here in Canada. Foreign providers may have received their shots but will the borders be open to them?
  17. Thinking about this a bit more, I reflect on the cases that come to mind in my own life of young men killed in tragic circumstances. Just a few from when I was young, three young men who worked at summer jobs with me in different years while at university like myself, were killed in accidents. One, when his girlfriend drove off the road a couple of weeks after our jobs ended, flipping the car and he was killed; another, a university student from Toronto who was killed on the first day of the job at a construction site; I had flown with him the previous day to get to the remote location in Labrador; another who was drowned in a sailing accident off the Bahamas in a hurricane the winter after I had worked with him and had got to know him travelling back and forth to our work site together from Montreal. All in their early twenties, all beautiful young men who would be my age now had they lived, with 50 years of wonderful experiences. Life is funny that way. It’s a roll of the dice.
  18. His last years seem to have been tragic. Paralyzed from the waist down from a gunshot to the chest In 2015. And dead at 42. Really sad.
  19. I sometimes tell my top providers that what I say in the heat of passion may be make believe, like "I love you". I do this to reassure them that I am just acting out a fantasy, like when I used to have boyfriends, when I really meant it. For me, since I'm the paying client, I hope for their indulgence in this harmless role play.
  20. He’s just having a hissy fit.
  21. There is a gulf between what Americans feel is clean as compared to Europeans. Having lived in Europe and spending over 25 years working there for periods and meeting many men from different countries, I am used to more natural body orders and tastes, not washed away by cleansing solutions to the point of sterilized flesh. Call me a naturalist if you will. Just my preference.
  22. Too anal for me.
  23. Luv the cod piece.
  24. Probably not used to getting past fem. lol
  25. I wonder what's with the "1958 "tattoo on his stomach. My ex was born that year and he's now over 60! LOL.
