He's quite cute. He didn't look that stressed out. And he was with the guys.

I'm surprised that someone shot in the head would be out of the hospital after a few days. It must have been fairly superficial. Also the father was released after what could have been a serious shot to the back. Nevertheless, any gunshot wounds are a serious matter. It sounds like a domestic dispute gone wrong when the young man resorted to using a pistol. Of course he could have done equally serious damage with a piece of household furniture. Sounds like a temper management issue.

Another Warning To Be Careful Who You Pick Up At A Party....
Luv2play replied to + azdr0710's topic in The Lounge
I think we should be careful not to conflate the criminal activities of some porn stars, who do not necessarily escort, and some escorts who get in trouble with the law. Also the offences are worth considering as to their gravity and connection to acts of violence against persons or robbery. I have not seen any evidence this applies to "many" having rap sheets. -
Another Warning To Be Careful Who You Pick Up At A Party....

In any case, in my experience I have enjoyed three person "orgies" more than multiperson get-togethers with the same purpose. With two others you get to participate in the entire experience whereas with a room packed with 10 or twelve you miss much of the action. I hate thinking someone else is having a better time than I am in these situations. Lol -
Interesting, I just got my booster today, six months after my second shot in June. Today it was Moderna as Pfizer is in short supply in Canada. My two first shots were Pfizer. I will hold off on seeing anyone for a couple of weeks at least and see how things look mid January.

As I think about it, Omicron has the potential to crowd out Delta and if Omicron proves to be less problematic, then it might result in the pandemic turning into a pesky virus like the flu which circulates around the world seasonly and only causes minor inconvenience to most, but not all people. After all, the flu still kills thousands each year, year after year. And those of us old enough need to get our flu shots annually. So this may become just another shot we need to get on a periodic basis, updated to confront the latest variation of virus circulating in the world. To me that's the optimistic outlook.

Another Warning To Be Careful Who You Pick Up At A Party....
Luv2play replied to + azdr0710's topic in The Lounge
I think it is possible to have an orgy with three people, if they use their imagination. I also think picking up two guys at a party without prior vetting is risky. Especially given the different ages and status between the two on one side and the third, who could be regarded as a vulnerable quarry, rich, older man and single (in the circumstances). I was struck by the date. On that Friday night in October, I was with a provider in Toronto, who I had met the previous month in Montreal. On that previous occasion, he was joined by another provider who had both advertised on RM. I went through extensive vetting with both prior to our engagement and felt perfectly comfortable in their company. They could have easily killed me if they had had the motivation. As it was, we continue to correspond and will no doubt get together in 2022. My takeaway is that while there are no guarantees in life, a little prudence and taking the pains to set up a date carefully is the best way, given our situation as clients with a huge age difference with the men we wish to engage with socially and more. -
Not a scratch ticket win but a $10million lottery jackpot. 20 years ago I knew a couple who were eking out a living conducting estate sales in Montreal. I went to one and it was at a beautiful mansion in Westmount, a wealthy enclave. A friend of mine, an antique dealer, bought two large chandeliers, the type that are cranked down from the ceiling to clean. Several months later, this couple won the jackpot of $10 million in the Canadian lottery 6/49. The first thing they did was buy a mansion even further up the hill than the one I had seen them in a few months earlier earning their commission of a few thousand dollars. A fairy tale really but true. I only saw the husband once a year later in the spring, sporting a Florida tan, dressed expensively, with a $200 haircut and driving the top of the line BMW. Money suited him.

That doesn't sound disgusting to me. Maybe a bit sweet but perhaps the sour cream alleviates that. The NYT just did an article on disgusting as one of the basic human emotions. It's pretty interesting and received lots of comments from readers.

Onr restaurant I remember taking him to had a name like Prunel or something similar.

I've always considered that many Italians are really Latino, after all their roots are Latin, just like the Spanish. So if they look similar, it's in the genes.

Yeah, I used the south end term carelessly. I meant south of the Thames and I only really ventured there once to see an old lover who had moved to London around 1978 to study ballet. He lived in a really cheap set of digs. We rekindled the romance for that week I was in London and I took him to some great restaurants since I was on expense account and he was literally a starving artist.

I can't find the cufflinks but I think the name of the club was Churchill's. It was in the West End and had good food and hostesses, as they were called. London had several such clubs, one other called Winstons. Don't know why they favoured the name of their most famous politician. Apparently it closed in 1980. I was there in 1974 or so. The hostess I was assigned was not the prettiest of the 8 at our table and I dropped her off from my taxi rather than take her home to my hotel. Some of the others went home with their dinner companions.

I once went to a nightclub in the West End whose name I forget but it was a supper club with female escorts. I went with a group of businessmen and after dinner, women were brought to the table and seated beside each guest. Then there was a floor show with various acts. One was a man and woman acrobatic act which involved bringing up guests to participate. I was picked out for one act because I was in my 30s and fit as opposed to all the other men who were middle aged or older at my table. So I was placed on my back on a stage supporting the male on my feet and hands and his female partner standing on his back, all to the sounds or rolling drums. I got a pair of gold cufflinks for being a good sport which I still have somewhere. If I find them I'll let you know the name of the club.

I haven't been to London for decades but when I was there doing a lot of work and enjoying the nightlife, I could distinguish between Mayfair, Knightsbridge and Soho. For me Kensington was a royal palace, not really a neighborhood I identified with as such. Then in broader terms I thought of places as The City, the west end, the east end, the south end. And then there were the places a long way away on the tube which eventually surfaced before you got to your destination like Northwood, which were London's suburbs, where I sometimes went to have dinner with friends. It would be nice to go back to see how things have changed, if they really have.

You provide a great service exposing these fake ads. Wonder why RM can't effectively screen them themselves.

I sent text messages on Christmas Eve to three providers I have seen over the last couple of years, all several times, and all overnights or weekends. They all got back to me in hours. All are on my list to see in 2022, even though one is semi retired and only sees former clients from when he was on RM (which happily includes me).

Providers - problems with racism?

I was under the same impression. -
Is there much variation in rates of infection in different parts of NJ?

My point was that in a small geographic area such as New Jersey, with its dense population, with the pandemic all around, it wouldn't make much difference where exactly you lived in the state. By contrast, in Ontario where I live, the province is so large that it does make a difference where you live. It could be 1000 miles from Toronto and is still in Ontario. Same with many Canadian provinces like Quebec or British Columbia.
-
Does it really matter lol After all, New Jersey is the 47th state in terms of geographic size and is only 79 miles wide at its widest and 166 miles in length. It doesn't get much smaller.

I would laugh too except for the memory of a Russian lad I had a fling with about 45 years ago. I still have a picture of him that he gave me. Taken while lying on a bed in shorts and t-shirt. Just a gorgeous hunk.

I admire but somehow deplore your insouciance.

I've definitely pushed the pause button. As I said elsewhere on this forum, I took advantage of the periods in the last two years when case counts were low in my region to see providers. When they spiked, I pulled back. I had two great extended weekends in the fall, one in Montreal and the other Toronto. Restaurants and hotels were getting back on their feet. Now new restrictions are being put in place, as we speak, so time to batten the hatches. Two of the providers I saw on those trips are now wintering in Puerto Vallarta and I hear they are still doing well.
