All of the really established stuff is up in Wilton, yes.  There is the new Krave near MIA, but I did not hear anything about it this past week and is only 1 day a week.  There is supposed to be more down in the Keys, but it's not quite the same.  

The place is called LeBoy, for gods' sake. If someone does not like twinks, move on!

The same can be said for almost anything…. “Miami’s hottest radio station” or “The best car dealership in the world”.  It’s nothing new or unique. I don’t think it’s something the folks at Guinness are out to track. 

So Johnny's was the prior name of the strip club in FTL.  Did not know it had morphed to LeBoy but I do recall the Johnny's  dancers were all kind of young and thin also....

Definitely a case of different strokes for different folks.  Johnnys / LeBoy has been around an awfully long time so it must appeal to a good many people.

1st time I went to Johnson's I couldn't choose between "Filou Fit" Phil Soulier and Malik Delgaty so went with both. Last month at Johnson's I didn't see anyone I'd bed and a 35-40ish flabby tatted Dominican? dancer kept rubbing everyone's dicks to take him for privates. Matt must have stolen him from Boardwalk. 
Key West has usually been decent and their privates are very private. (unfortunately dancers don't go in the nude pool).

While in FLL this week, one of the dancers at LeBoy mentioned a new strip club in Miami called Krave.  It's promoting itself as an "anything goes" kind of place for both women and men.  Fridays are more about the women, and Saturday is more men...  but there are both each night.  (The ratio on Saturday was about a little over a dozen guys and a couple of women dancers.)

HOTTESTCLUBMIAMI.COM Yes...  it's a fully nude club.  And it's VERY close to MIA airport.  It's definitely a "late night" club... it opens at 11PM on Saturday and runs till 5AM.  So it's not going to appeal to those early birds.  I was at Johnsons from 6-8, then from 8 till around 11:15 at Leboy.  That put me at Krave around midnight.  It's around 30 miles from Wilton Manor area.  

About a little more than half of the dancers are from Giovanni's parties at Boardwalk.  His Twitter has some videos from the last event and just some photos of other dancers:

They had a selection of twinks, guy next door, and some more muscular guys.  My personal favorite dancer was River, but he not have any photos and it was his first time working in the clubs.  He's never been to FLL, but looked AMAZING.  A little big to be a Twink, and a little small to be a real muscle guy....  so I suppose the right term is "twunk"?  (Pardon me, still need to fan myself thinking of him.)  I really hope he makes his way up into FLL somewhere and introduced him to Charles (who owns Leboy).  
The venue itself looks fantastic inside.  This was only their second week, and they're still working out the "new business" issues.  The drink prices were all over the place depending on the bartender.  My first drink (vodka/soda) was nearly $20...  but from a different bartender, I had two drinks (vodka/soda and vodka/cran) for the same price.  The second round from the same bartender was like 40 cents different.  <shrug>. Make sure to specify the brand of liquor you want, as the bartenders seem to default to higher brands from just watching a bit on the side.  
There is free parking in a lot across the street and some street parking in the area.  It's not in a super nice neighborhood, but was fine.  I did not feel unsafe.  The club had lots of security out front, and there is also valet parking on-site ($10).  They did not charge cover when I was there last week, but from what some of the dancers were saying if/when it starts getting popular, it might be added later and the guess was to be around $20 to get in if it happens.
In terms of private dances...  this is still very new and a work in progress.  MOST of the dancers did not even know how they worked.  
There are apparently multiple types of private dances available...  the first type was no house fee, just whatever you and the dancer agree to (most are used to $20 a song).  There is a small room off to the side of the bar that has two curtain entrances that are fully closed.  There were 3 chairs inside.  You and the dancer pick a chair and the dancer is fully nude.  Technically it's a shared room, so other dancers could have dances in those other two chairs, so not fully private.  The rumor is they're going to segment that area a bit more later.  
There is another more full private dance in a 100% solo room upstairs.  It's not ready yet, and no one could confirm an actual price for me... but the word was it's a 100% private experience once it's ready.  I would expect those to include a house fee and a dancer fee.   
While I was sitting around by myself watching the entertainment, the GM...  Lauren came up to me and gave me a free drink ticket.  She said it was because she loved my hair (which is currently a light blue color).  We had a chance to chat for a bit.  She says since they're in Hialeah, they're not tied to the same rules the clubs in FLL are and they're able to do a lot more.  She wants it to be an open/inclusive place for anyone that has any types of fetishes, etc.  I saw a guy with his "pup" on a leash walking through, another who wore somewhat of a halloween costume, etc.

Overall, I think the club has a ton of potential.  It's awesome seeing something basically replace Floppy Rooster in that neighborhood.  Loved most of the dancers and loved the venue itself.  My biggest complaint or area for improvement is basically behind the bar.   I would certainly go back again though!  
 

the time period you're speaking of there were at least 7 nude gay strip clubs in DC.  Wet,  the old Secrets, the Cinema Follies and la Cage au Folles were all next to each other on O St SE. Cinema Follies had a fire a Congressman died in. 
the Lone Star was behind the FBI headquarters and the FBI owned it after confiscating it for tax problems. in the daytime it was women strippers and at night very young boys. so young a congressman had to resign for meeting a 17-yr old stripper/escort there. the Chesapeake House gay nude strip was up the street from it and closed when the old convention center was built. 
what's now the Fireplace bar used to be upstairs on Connecticut and was a gay nude strip club. now it's a Black normal bar. 
the best of the best was Dollies with drag strippers and adjoining escort bar Naples next to the old bus stations at 12th and NY Ave. they shared the Terminal Hotel upstairs. many Marines in on weekends from Camp LeJeune. Naples was every year named DC's trashiest bar by Washingtonian and they proudly displayed that on the wall. Hotel California was probably repeated on the jukebox there more than anywhere in the world. I spent several years on barstools there and met some of America's hottest guys.
Steve the last owner of the new Secrets was a stripper in the old Secrets and met his lover there who he inherited the bar from. Matt Colunga, the owner of Johnsons in FLL also stripped there as did Tim and Matt who now run the Adonis shows and parties in NY, LA, etc. They used to bunch up in a car and "work" south Florida (not dancing).

But yeah, all of the gentrification and development forced all of the nude male dance places out of business over the years.

I know this answer will not help your present situation, but in the early eighties DC was male strip club nirvana. Texas Drilling and another club on 14th Street were great - just enough sleaze and an anything goes attitude. Men would sit at the bar, a dancer with a hard-on would crouch down and the patron would grab, lick, suck or whatever. At the time 14th Street was nothing but peep shows and prostitutes from Vermont Ave down to almost the White House,
There was a very sleazy dancer bar on Connecticut Ave over a KFC location. You would smell the frying chicken when in the bar. There was another place on 23rd just north of P. The Hung Jury was close to the White House, there was another stripper bar on 17th near Annie's and the great places on O SE, where the stadium was built. There was even a place in Georgetown on Wisconsin just north of M, a few doors up from the American Cafe, that featured dancers a couple nights a week. 
These places were all naked all the time. Many of my college friends, mostly straight guys, would work a couple nights a week for spending cash. Oddly, none of the gay guys did.

I spent the last three months in Ft. Lauderdale.  I went to Boardwalk once, and even though they have renovated, it is still the same with pushy, straight dancers.  I would have liked to have seen one of Giovanni's Wednesday shows, but they are too late for me.  I did go to Johnson's once, but here again about 90% of the dancers are straight, and that is not my thing.
Therefore I spent most of my time at LeBoy and thoroughly enjoyed it.  Wrist bands are still only $10, that get you into the lap dance area all night.  There is a big turnover of dancers, and none that I had enjoyed last year were still there.  But of course I met new ones.  All ages, types, etc. are available.  the dancers did not seem to gather in gaggles like they used to - they do more mixing with the customers.  What I did notice is that they don't seem to have a regular rotation of dancers on the stage like they used to - dancers go to the stage on more of a sporadic rotation at their will.  I usually left by 10:00, so the regular rotation may start later.
Bartenders Andy, Chris, and Ricky are still there as is my favorite bouncer of all time....Lee!

As we approach the 2nd Anniversary of @Guy Fawkes passing it’s a good time to ask yourself the question: If anything happened to me, who would know? 
@Guy Fawkes lived alone. No neighbor or friend knew he was in need of help. After not hearing from him for a couple of days, the police were called to do a Wellness Check. Sadly, he was found on the floor barely alive and, a month later, passed away  
The outcome might have been different had he been found sooner. For those of you who live alone do you have a contact person who would realize something might be wrong if they didn’t hear from you? If there is one thing we can learn for this loss its the importance of having that contact person.

Is it just me, or is there a new trend for shorter shorts at the gym? After years seeing guys in baggy shorts well below the knee, I saw quite a few guys at the gym today with shorts that came to mid-thigh or a bit shorter. In addition, they seemed a bit less baggy as well. If the trend holds, it will certainly make for better views while working out.

As long as I had not previously seen the magazines who cared if they were a few months old?
