  1. I agree, but while I was down there this winter I read in the papers that the city wants to rip out all the trees in the middle of the Blvd. in order to widen the street. To me, the trees are what makes it beautiful.
  2. Is it just me, or is there a new trend for shorter shorts at the gym? After years seeing guys in baggy shorts well below the knee, I saw quite a few guys at the gym today with shorts that came to mid-thigh or a bit shorter. In addition, they seemed a bit less baggy as well. If the trend holds, it will certainly make for better views while working out.
  3. Boardwalk IS open. I drove by there on my way to LeBoy, LOL
  4. The Lucky Horseshoe is open in Chicago, as well as Johnson's and LeBoy in Ft. Lauderdale.
  5. Totally love these reports!!!!
  6. Has anyone been to The Corner Pocket in NOLA lately? I am thinking about heading down that way in late April. I have heard that a few months ago they started serving food to stay open during Covid, and the boys were serving instead of dancing on the bar. Is that still the case? Any recent information would be helpful. Thanks!
  7. When you said “angel wings tattooed on his back”, a light went on! Totally HOT!
  8. I was only able to get to NYC twice a year, but you can bet I headed straight for the Gaiety! And I was lucky enough to attend a matinee with @Cooper and @foxy two or three times and then head to a restaurant afterwards. Such fond memories with those two great guys, plus the dancers! LOL
  9. Well....I guess it defines my attitude on life. I’m an optimist! And I just couldn’t resist that first word in my name! Plus I love the song “Cock Eyed Optimist” from South Pacific.
  10. What the Hell! Go for it! LOL
  11. Yes, pre-COVID I had met several posters on this site and we remain friends still. And in addition, there were annual gatherings of posters usually once a year in Chicago. Food memories.
  12. I have drastically cut my list to the bare bones in the last few years. I always include a hand written message. I tend to frown on those I receive with a stamped signature and nothing else.
  13. I wonder if the Show World there is related to the famous Show World on 8th Ave. near Port Authority back in the day. Fond and dirty memories of that place! When I made my yearly trek to NY, I couldn't get there fast enough!
  14. Wow! Would nude adult photos be reason for concern?
  15. OMG! "Stan and Biggies" restaurant. I ate there several times as a kid growing up in St. Louis. One time when we were there, Stan stopped by our table to say hello. Fond memories. Since I moved to Chicago to start my career, I became a Cubs fan, but always found a soft place in my heart for the Cardinals.
  16. And you are correct again, my friend!
  17. You are correct that the "menu" is not for food. LOL. It is for the amount of time you spend in the Lap Dance area.
  18. Thanks for posting this news, I was wondering why I hadn't read any recent posts from him. He and I exchanged many PM's over the years on the bars in Ft. Lauderdale.
  19. And to describe a muscle Dude: "He is built like a brick shit house!"
  20. I still use the shit/Shinola expression. Hmmm....do they still make Shinola?
  21. I heard on the Today Show that he hasn't more than 5 hours of sleep in the last 4 days. He has been staying at the studio and I'm sure he isn't concerned about his outfit. LOL. Apparently he has become quite popular on Twitter as well.
  22. WALK ON THE WILD SIDE. - LOU REED
  23. Interesting concept. I had not realized this before, but like "Thickornotatall", my eyes skip ahead if there is a paragraph laid out before me with solid text. I guess old dogs can learn new tricks.
  24. Some continue to look the same, well after their 20's. One particular guy that I remember (whom I had seen for 10 years or so) didn't seem to age. I took him to dinner to celebrate his 40th birthday, and he was carded by the bartender in a bar we went to before dinner, and again in the restaurant. He looked just like he did when I first met him.
  25. That's too bad. When I spent last winter in Lauderdale, LeBoy didn't allow smoking inside, only out on the patio. Too bad the new owners reverted back to the old policy.
