  1. I finally made it down to Florida this winter, and of course went to LeBoy. I was impressed by the renovation, but more impressed by the new pricing policy. A wrist band for the whole evening that allows one to enter the lap dance area is only $10, and whatever you give to the dancer is his to keep. Much more fair to the dancer. There were dancers of all body types there that evening and I had a great time.
  2. It was Tropics. They closed a few years ago after being there for a long time. After a few years, they reopened under the same name. I assumed the new owners bought the right to the name.
  3. What is (was?) the name of the piano bar in Greenwich Village where they played mostly show tunes and performers from on and off Broadway would come and sing? Is it still there?
  4. I just noticed on FB that they have apparently added a new "lobby" or entryway. Anyone seen that? Wonder how it fits into the original bar?
  5. Are these the buyers that bought it a year ago from the owner who moved back to Israel and fixed it up, or are they brand new, like in the last few months? The last time I was there was last March and they were talking about "new owners" back then. Thanks. I saw on FB that they were hosting a reception.
  6. At LeBoy, there usually is an attendant to park your car for a price. $5. On some slow days, there is self park for free. At Boardwalk there is free parking in their lot. At the bars along the strip, there is metered parking, but by downloading a parking app like "Pay by phone", or "Way to Park", or "park Mobile" it makes it easier. (I forget which of the three is used on the strip). There is a tiny parking lot at Johnsons, but it is almost always filled.
  7. Please post a summary of the strip bars you visited last weekend. Thanks!
  8. Question: In the above posts, are the posters using the word "orgasm" to be equivalent to "ejaculation"? I have assumed that if one has a prostatectomy or prostate radiation treatment, one can still have an orgasm but no ejaculation.
  9. OMG! I went to his RM site and fell in love!! I've never seen anyone quite like him!!
  10. Wow! I have always been a fan of Tom Katt!!! My suggestion: Don't shave and keep those buttons undone! LOL And I think all here would love to see pics of you dressed as Tom!
  11. There is a local play party (Grr-Friends Party on Facebook) that meets on Sundays at Cellblock. The parties are called Sunday-Bunday. On Instagram it is called "Sundaybundayparty"
  12. I remember the first time I saw "Gone With the Wind" at a theatre, they had an intermission, and I'm pretty sure they played an entr'acte as well. Now, however, I have to take a pee break during even a two hour movie.
  13. Has anyone been there during renovations? Update please? Thanks!
  14. In my high school, males were made to swim nude, the reason given was that swim-suit fibers clogged the filters. BUT in the same pool (different periods of course), the females swam with full body swim suits. Go figure!!
  15. When I was diagnosed with prostate cancer eight years ago, my urologist recommended I read the "bible" regarding prostate cancer: "Guide to Surviving Prostate Cancer" by Patrick Walsh, MD. ( It is now in its 4th edition) At first I chose the treatment called "Active Surveillance ", which is doing nothing for a while, but being constantly monitored. After six years, my most recent biopsy indicated that I had to act. I visited a radiation oncologist and a surgeon to decide which route I should take. Ironically, both doctors recommended that I read the book mentioned above before I made a decision. I chose the radiation route, and am happy that I did.
  16. My vote has to be The Lucky Horseshoe in Chicago. Primarily because it has stood the test of time. I have been going there since the mid 80's, and I still like it even though I have been to many other stripper bars in the USA. There used to be private parties, which were awesome, when the original owner Ben was alive. Ben married the manager, and when Ben passed, his new husband took over and really spruced up the place. (I had been expanded twice under Ben's ownership). I now has three connected bar rooms with two stages. If you don't like the dancer in one, just walk to the other one. I just feel at home when I walk into the place.
  17. Refresh my memory please. Is Andreas the bartender who worked at LeBoy for a number of years?
  18. That is the only one I know of. A few weeks ago during "Market Days" festival, the line was two blocks long.
  19. Does anyone have knowledge of how the stripper bars in NOLA have fared after hurricane IDA plowed through? (Corner Pocket, Oz, Bourbon St. Pub, etc?)
  20. In Chicago all indoor establishments require masks except when eating or drinking. All bars in Boystown require that your show your Vax card or at least a picture of it as well as your ID. I was there a few weeks ago, and once inside, things are pretty much the same. I assume that all dancers are wearing masks now, since the "masks required" edict only went into effect last week. The vaccination rate in Chicago exceeds 70% especially in the northern sections of the city where The Lucky Horseshoe is. If you have specific questions, feel free to PM me.
  21. I particularly like the idea of the M4M field trip! I remember the days when we had regular "nights out" with the HooBoy gang in Chicago.
  22. I was wondering if a long term escort/client relationship might occur more often than we suspect. I have known two escorts in Florida for over ten years. The first 5 or 6 as a client, but the remaining years as a friend on Facebook and texts and emails. I believe they have both stopped escorting. In Illinois, I have known two escorts for about 6 or 7 years. The first 4 years as a client, but since then as friends. In fact, I introduced them to each other, and we go our frequently for dinner, drinks, and the theatre. I was invited to the wedding of one of them, and there I met another client with whom I have become good friends. And as a result, we now go out as a group of 4 for drinks and to the theatre. I feel that this is more common than one would think.
  23. Thanks! Hopefully they will be done by November when I go back down.
  24. I did the same! I loved that umbrella!!!
