  1. I spent the last three months in Ft. Lauderdale. I went to Boardwalk once, and even though they have renovated, it is still the same with pushy, straight dancers. I would have liked to have seen one of Giovanni's Wednesday shows, but they are too late for me. I did go to Johnson's once, but here again about 90% of the dancers are straight, and that is not my thing. Therefore I spent most of my time at LeBoy and thoroughly enjoyed it. Wrist bands are still only $10, that get you into the lap dance area all night. There is a big turnover of dancers, and none that I had enjoyed last year were still there. But of course I met new ones. All ages, types, etc. are available. the dancers did not seem to gather in gaggles like they used to - they do more mixing with the customers. What I did notice is that they don't seem to have a regular rotation of dancers on the stage like they used to - dancers go to the stage on more of a sporadic rotation at their will. I usually left by 10:00, so the regular rotation may start later. Bartenders Andy, Chris, and Ricky are still there as is my favorite bouncer of all time....Lee! I spent most of my time with a dancer from Italy, Lorenzo, but alas! he is headed back home by now. Three other dancers that I would recommend are Jason, Sparkle, Apollo, and Baby Blue.
  2. I'm not one for remembering names, but one dancer comes to mind. His name is "Slim". He fit his name but I think I would use "svelte" instead. He was also a very accommodating dancer.
  3. Why has no one mention the "reward"? The smell and taste of cum is awesome.
  4. I have always used Oscar de la Renta's Pour Lui. I have always gotten compliments about it, and many people have mentioned that it is "fresh" smelling. About 10 years ago, I couldn't find it anywhere. Luckily I found a perfumery in Europe that would ship it, but alas, that also ended. Mow I am down to my last bottle.
  5. Well, I guess I will update my own question. I went down to Ft. Lauderdale for a week and went to LeBoy 4 nights. I stayed clear of Boardwalk and Johnsons because I was there for a short time and LB is my favorite. The dancers seem to like the new owner. Never heard any complaints. You still can buy a wristband for $10 that lasts the whole night to gain admittance to the back lap dance area. That is a great improvement. The dancers look basically the same type and are not as pushy for lap dances as Boardwalk and Johnsons. They still however cling in groups around a known customer and don't circulate enough. I tend to get there early (around 8:30) and on the 4 nights I was there, no dancers started dancing on the stage until about 9:30. Sunday night was the worst and even on Friday night when the bar was full, the DJ didn't even enter until 9:15. That is my biggest complaint. Andy and Ricky are still behind the bar and Lee is still outside as a bouncer. I've known these guys for over 15 years when they worked at Johnny's (which later moved and became LeBoy). Chris has become one of the managers, but he was always too aloof for me.
  6. Is Giovanni still hosting these parties? I used to get posts on FB almost every day advertising them, but none for the last month.
  7. I just wanted to bump this thread up a bit. I'm heading down to Florida in a month and wanted to see if there were any updates concerning LeBoy. Also does anyone know if there is still a dancer named Gabe dancing there? I had seen his post on FB in the past. Thanks
  8. Maybe you should consider a trip to Florida.....NO Hurricanes predicted at this time? LOL! Happy Birthday!!!
  9. Please don't treat this question as a joke as some members have done in regards to massages in another Forum. Seriously, I realize that tipping a dancer on a stage poses almost no risk, but what about a lap dance? I would like to hear your opinions about that. Thanks in advance.
  10. Why was he there? And in the front row? I assumed it was only reporters and dignitaries that were in attendance.
  11. I keep seeing pictures (lots of them) on FB Boardwalk of the troupe of guys that Giovanni Milani has taken over to the Boardwalk from LeBoy. Many I recognize from this winter in Ft. Lauderdale. Does anyone know if they still dance at LeBoy on their off-nights? (Apparently "Giovanni's Circus" on on Wednesday nights only). Or has LeBoy imported a new group of dancers?
  12. In a post from LeBoy on Facebook today, It reads "Sad day today! Nick is leaving after only 9 months". Any idea who Nick is?
  13. Has anyone gone to see Giovanni's Circus at Boardwalk? It has been occurring I think for the last few weeks on Wednesday.
  14. Carrying your school books with a bent arm close to your chest. You were supposed to carry them with a straight arm next to your hip.
  15. It looks like Giovanni has moved over to Boardwalk. I just saw a post on Instagram advertising "Giovanni's Circus" every Wednesday night at Boardwalk.
  16. Thanks! I'm cramming in a lot of shows since I'm only there 3 nights: Music Man, Funny Girl(matinee), Company, and Dear Evan Hansen . I'll check out these bars for sure. I have fond memories of going with you and Foxy to the first Gayiety show of the week, so you could write your weekly review and get it published! I think we also gave a fond nod to Stella's as we walked by. LOL
  17. From 1970 until 2004 I visited New York several times a year. I had a great time at the Gayiety and many other bars. I had the pleasure of meeting Cooper https://www.companyofmen.org/profile/257-cooper/ and Foxy and many others. But when I came, it was like a business trip seeing as many Broadway shows as I could. Now in my Swan Song years, I will come back one more time in late April to see again as many shows as I can, but could you recommend some gay bars to visit in the Midtown area? I'm not comatose yet, so I can stand the action, but I am not familiar with the many bars I used to go to in my Salad Days. Thanks!
  18. Amen to that! He posts several times a day, and the posts are always interesting and enticing.
  19. Wow! I was down there all winter, and one of the questions I asked the dancers was how the new owners were treating them. They all answered in a positive way, but that could just be a stock answer. Some of them who remembered Sean (the previous owner) said that it was 100% better. Also, their Instagram account keeps changing names. It was hacked twice while I was down there and Giovanni attributed it to another bar.
  20. If someone has more information about The Ritz, please post. Thanks.
  21. Hmmmm….Private dances? Tell me more. I don’t remember there being any the last time I was there. Thanks.
  22. Ahhhh….yes…..there was nothing like those parties at the Shoe, and there will probably never be. Fond memories.
