To me PNP means no hard drugs, MJ is fine. I recently had an experience with a provider who I explicitly told this when I saw it on his profile and he said not to worry and that we don’t have to do anything.
When he got to my place, he clearly was already on something, proceeded to snort something and then take some G. I told him again I didn’t want anything like that and he said it was there to help him stay awake. I called the meeting off and he proceeded to FREAK out.
It was a very unpleasant experience. Which told him to leave he blocked me etc. But made it seem like he was gonna do something to me on his way out (I’m fine, just a bit rattled).
I think it’s the worst I’ve experience I’ve had thus far hiring providers.

Question - does PNP have to work both ways?
I had an....unpleasant encounter with an escort who (without telling me ahead of time) took two doses of G (the second dose came after he got me off).
He then tried to force himself on me (I don't do anal with providers and had made that extremely clear to him). He wanted to party; I didn't but he still managed to get his tip into me before I kicked him away.

Actually, I can count at least 12 members here who I’ve met face to face, know my name, my number, or have even been a guest in one of my homes. They HAVE my LinkedIn. THEY aren’t trolls and are trustworthy. I’m guessing that, absent anonymity, you’d not be on that list.
Do I recall that one of your first posts as @SecretProvider expressed an intent to post things that needed to me said? You’re only here to be negative. And I’m personally fine with that….theres plenty to be said. But, if you’re not here to be positive, please OWN it. There’s no need calling others out with passive aggressive attacks who are negative like you. The reality seems that your perspective is that all clients are a monolithic group treating providers like crap. That’s not true…but if that’s your experience, maybe the clients aren’t the problem.

It’s always hard to reconcile conflicting experiences, but when it comes to disagreements that might be rooted in lack of clarity in communication vs tangible one on one experience as you’ve described, I’m inclined to give the guy a chance. I’ve reached out to him and will let you know how that goes.

I’ve corresponded in the past and sensed a degree of pushiness too. I don’t think it’s pushy per se…I think it’s because English is his second language

+ PhileasFogg reacted to + purplekow in changing HIV status in an ad
There are rare cases in which an HIV positive patient seroconverts to HIV negative. These are usually related to stem cell transplants for other conditions.

I applaud your response even in the face of my own push back. Thank you for stating all of that respectfully as you righteously defend your reputation
There are plenty here who can be petty. Honestly, most here have been here a while and discount the validity of guys who join, make a couple of incendiary posts, and then move on. Your offensive poster was one of those.
I think I’d speak for many here to say we’d love to have you as an active and contributing member of this group. Your feedback and defense of the rights and respectability of providers is highly valued

Say it often enough and maybe you’ll believe it. I can’t tell you how often a regular has commented to me about a referral they got from me to someone on this forum who then hired them.

It seems as though you’re trying to make a couple of back handed slaps at a long time member of this forum. Are you are accusing @BOZO T CLOWN of being a troll for pointing out the obvious inconsistency on PnP which is, by your own comment, completely rational? If so, your passive aggressive comment is the trollish behavior.
There’s a reason you, unlike most providers here, hide behind a moniker of anonymity - and it’s not because you want to say positive things to draw people to shop at your small business. Right?

I equate PNP with drug use like meth or G. I've never associated the term with marijuana or alcohol use. I also associate its inclusion in an ad as an indication that the provider partakes, not just that he's open to clients who do, unless his ad has text that clearly spells that out.
A major reason for me to avoid providers who list PNP in their ads: People who use substances regularly are frequently less reliable in terms of keeping appointments.

I disagree, based both on conversation in the gay community and to crowd-sourced sites that describe what the larger community believes something to be:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Party_and_play
"The drug of choice is typically methamphetamine, commonly referred to as crystal meth, tina, or T."

Well, there goes Yelp…
one time, I had a guy with a huge number of 5 star reviews show up at my house for a massage, crawl on top of me and say “I’ll move into this house and make you my bitch”. Hmmm, yeah…I should have asked his consent to tell that story here. 🙄

I was the same way - what you do on your own time is your business.
My change came in 2025 after specific experiences with two highly rated providers in New Orleans.
I hope they get what they need. But I’m able to regularly observe at least one one of them on hook up apps with his “face down/ass up cum dump” posts to know meth is probably leaving him voraciously horny
Meth is the gift that keeps on giving and triggers provider behaviors that interject risk into our interaction. There’s plenty of awesome SOBER guys out there to not have to take that risk.
I wonder - how many of you actually look at evidence of STD testing before you hire someone? Because, there is a strong, well-documented correlation between meth use and a 50% increased risk of HIV. So, we can say what you do on your time is your business….until you track mud on to my rug.
