It reeks of good old southern prejudice where it wasn’t the fiber of their character but the color of their skin - it’s no different. It was wrong then and it’s wrong now. i know plenty of people like what you described…and they’re not all white, straight, boomers, and vice versa

There’s a whole lot of labels there that suggest you were doing a lot of judging and I’d suggest that if you were in fact clear, articulate, and thoughtful, you may have changed his mind. But, as it is, I’d suggest that a tone of judgment or condescension may have leaked into your comments. Maybe, just maybe, it’s you feeling a little entitled?

You say it's crazy. But it's not. A genuine twink that's also a good guy can probably be booked 4x/day and be exhausted and burned out in no time flat. The solution is in the laws of economics - raise the price and make as much - or more - with less effort. I don't begrudge anyone capitalizing on high demand.

True. Honestly though, I’d rather be skinny with wrinkles vs fat. After two years of a regular diet and exercise routine, I’m within 5lbs of where I was 30 yrs ago. I’ll get there soon. But as I do, my nasolabial folds (smile lines) become very distinct as in the picture above. Although I’ve tried Botox a couple times on my brow line, I’ve done nothing about my smile lines. Some have suggested filler at the top of my cheek to “pull” the skin tighter, but I don’t see it being a good natural looking option for me. Back to the OP though, I’d encourage moving from weight loss as a primary objective to building muscle tone and a little bit of bulk. Find an EMS workout studio (like Manduu) and I’d be shocked if you didn’t see improvement in 6 months

I’ve lost 50lbs of fat (5 in on my waist) but only reduced my weight by 30lbs - meaning I gained 20lbs of muscle. It took me two years and I barely broke a sweat because the muscle came from low impact activities like band workouts. The sag only goes away if you replace it with muscle. I’m in my 60’s and feel great and look leaner than I did in my 30’s when I weighed the same. I think I’d focus on protein consumption and weight training.

Penalized for being honest? If he didn’t inform you, was he going to show up anyway? It sounds like his other options were to show up anyway either with a mask or without. With a mask would have been a waste of time for both of you, and without would likely have been as well if he had a sneezing fit. It seems to me that you both did the right thing sorting it out before any time was wasted. A win/win is never a penalty
