I get what you’re saying...but what do airline tickets, movies, and the S 560 Mercedes being advertised as “luxury sport vehicle” at car rental place, and that brand new house in the country all have in common? Airlines want their money upfront: no guarantee you’ll arrive to your destination on time, or at all if flying Boeing 737 Max Movies want their money upfront: no guarantee you’ll like it Rental cars make you buy their insurance upfront: no guarantee you’ll have to use it. A new home requires you have to pay every fee before you move in, but as noted here: there is no guarantee you will be welcomed into the neighborhood by some racist town folk: Moral of story: there are some services that require something upfront. But I obviously understand we’re dealing with something that has less legal recourse than the above mentioned. It’s harder to sue a rouge provider than it is to sit thru a bad movie ?

What if you check it in a few hours, and noticed its a little less than what you expected? Like, a lot less? Reminds me of a story someone told me about how he got all the way to the airport, only to realize his “overnight rate” was really just a few 1s and some cut up newspaper. Too late at that point. It is a blessing to have steady regulars and sometimes it easy to forget about the time and just let the fun go on. But I almost feel like you’re insinuating that it’s okay to let time and money go unchecked, in order to retain regulars. I feel you can still have loyal regulars and keep check of things. Some of my best and loyal regulars were those who gave me at and beyond what I charged. Some of my most unreliable regulars were the ones who I constantly gave breaks for, discounts/extra time...yet were the same ones who would cancel at the most inconvenient time, or prime me for a booking, but not show for it.
-
...but it depends on the circumstances, like I noted above. I mean...there’s a difference between an escort sitting at home and getting a booking, versus doing backflips across town, walking 3 miles from the hotel lobby to the room, and it being after midnight, and running into traffic even though it’s after midnight. In those cases, a “tip” can certainly take the tip off the iceberg.

Scheduling in ways that may (inadvertently) annoy us

That sounds like a good way to put it. Thankyou. -
I just seen on TWC that it’s supposed to snow in the actual city of Palm Springs, during Coachella weekend ? Kidding, of course...

Twitter and also a popular guy on Twitter opened a new forum: www.rentboyproblems.com And actually, Twitter is good for networking, but sometimes the constant barrage of sex videos and self-promoting can be a bit much. It’s not all that social, more of a platform.

Scheduling in ways that may (inadvertently) annoy us

That’s perfectly understandable...and reasonable. Like I said, I know some may have alternative lifestyles which require a level of discretion. However, there’s a difference between initial screening and setting up an appointment via email. I don’t mind for that use, however in the cases I’m mentioning, the screening has already been assessed. In the example above, I’d already responded a week ago. The last thing I said to him was, “text me a day prior to the session to confirm”. It becomes a case of (this is not an actual conversation): Client: I am at (insert upscale hotel brand, but no address). Are we still on for today? Me: (2-4 hours later when I check my rentmen email and/or the rentmen notification reaches my GMAIL) yes I’m available, what time are we going for? Him: (2 hours later) how about 7 pm? Me: (2 hour later) yeah I can do that time. Can you text me the specific location Him: (45 minutes later) great. Me: (5 minutes later) please text me to confirm Him: (3 hours later): okay... So, over the course of a day...several hours pass. That’s so annoying when I’m already in an unfamiliar city, and trying to sort out my day. That whole conversation could have been had in 30 minutes of text. -
Hmmmmmmmm....I don’t know about that. Obviously it’s water under the bridge, but that’s why I don’t like the idea of a client “flying me in”. Even though someone paid for his ticket, he obviously has to pack a bag, perhaps buy toiletries, pay for travel to airport, eat $10 burgers at said airport, and basically a host of things that cost money before actually getting paid anything. I personally prefer to be directly paid ahead, even if it’s part of my session, so I can divide up the funds in ways that I need BEFORE the session takes place.

working in a city with very low competition
Mocha replied to redites's topic in Questions About Hiring
The issue with Boston is most of those messages tend to end up being flakes. I meant to put Boston on my list of top 10 flakiest cities. I’d still check it out though, because like I said....10 clients and 20 flakes is still a good deal, it just depends on your tolerance for handling the flakes. -
working in a city with very low competition

Salt Lake City did used to be great. I probably F**ked about 1/3 of the city between 2011-2014 lol. What fucked up Salt Lake City was the closure of Men4Rent (and to a lesser extent, craigslist). The guys there were used to that particular site, because that’s where I got majority of my hits from. When men4rent started censoring things, I noticed salt lake started becoming a bit dry. I also noticed over the years, SLC started having more escorts “pop up” here and there. I can’t vouch that they were all legit, but when I was out there I was usually always the main guy advertising out there. Overtime I would see one here, another there, and then more and more. And similar to Denver, sometimes those rapid growths can spell DISASTER to a quiet village city. All that growth comes with higher rent prices, changes in economy, etc. Then you add Grindr and all that growth in population simply amounts to everyone fucking each other in the same neighborhood, sex work pretty much goes out the window...unless you’re a commodity. And Salt Lake City is no shortage of White like Atlanta is no shortage of Black lol, if you know what I mean. I used to rent a hotel room off Redwood Rd. In Salt Lake City all the time...stay for like a week. Nice apartment like hotel. Then they turned it into actual apartments. That was the first sign of things changing up. I’m wanting to get back out to Salt Lake City, but if it’s become anything like it’s neglected step-sister Kansas City, I might have to pass up. -
I don’t really refer to them as “tips”. But if I travel specifically for a client or get a room for a session, then getting extra for those things could be considered tips. I consider it more of helping to offset the costs. Perhaps, a “bonus”. Like there’s a difference when you sale clothes or furniture, you don’t get tips but it does come with commission and a bonus. Once you start getting into calling them tips, then you have to get into percentages, and a $250 session at 18% gratuity ends up being: $295+ 8% sales tax= $318.60. So, I wouldn’t want people to feel obligated to do that. So, I set my prices...but if the client is inclined to cover any additional expenses I incur as part of the session, that’s certainly appreciated.
-
Edit: I noticed after posting this there’s a similar thread that addresses the same concerns: https://m4m-forum.org/threads/working-in-a-city-with-very-low-competition.146250/ And quote: I guess the point is, what are some ways to conduct biz if one happens to end up in such a city? Does anyone think biz may exist offline? I ask because a (non escort) friend of mine actually made up a fallacy to a guy at a hotel bar about us both being porn star escorts. To my surprise, he seemed to actually be accepting of it, though it wasn’t turned into an actual booking.

So for the most part, I’ve had quite a good streak for the past few weeks: picked up about 2-3 new reviews on my rent profiles, along with back to back new good client experiences. So to lay it out...I’m not complaining. But there’s some things I find to be quite annoying. I think the key word in many of these situations are “married”. So I have come to understand part of these annoyances are really just a reflection of their way of trying to juggle their opposite lifestyles. 1. When a previously booked client who I met once, books another session...they planned properly the first time, but then end up becoming unreliable on the subsequent visits: These types usually seem all eager to do another appointment, but then develop a habit of “something coming up/change of plans”. One guy did that with me this weekend, and I noticed he did it previously a few weeks ago. So far he’s done it 3 times, and we’ve only met once. 2. The ones who contact each time I’m in town, but beat around setting anything up. I noticed a guy had contacted me back in 2017, and 2018 for a session when I was in the area. Both times, he would drop out the conversation. He contacted me again the other week, and of course, dropped out again. 3. When guys insist on emailing instead of texting to set up a visit. The other day, I had a client who kept emailing me when I had previously requested him to text me. On the day he wanted to meet, I almost missed him because each reply he sent was 2 to 3 hours apart. I was planning to end my trip early that day unless I had a client. It was after 5 pm by the time he finally texted me. Those are the 3 major things that regardless of reason, I find can cause unnecessary annoyances when setting up an encounter.

When I look back on previous trips to Charlotte, I just think about how I didnt make the impressive numbers in the south like I do in other areas. I did happen to link up with someone from the forum in Raleigh who made a good impression. But for the most part, I just never really made big hits in the South, or Charlotte for that matter. Most of the trips I did to North Carolina were like break even trips, that’s why eventually I never ended up moving there despite it being a “potential” relocation spot for me. And then after that whole law/bill that was passed even before Fosta (something about how NC would take extreme measures to prosecute anyone using the internet for “services”, the market really went dead for awhile. I was trying to plan a run to Charlotte at the end of last year, had a few inquires but non that proved to be serious. I’m sure the RNC can make a difference, but on an average day the Charlotte market can already be pretty saturated. I can only imagine it being that much more. Edit: oh here it is: https://www.starnewsonline.com/news/20130724/nc-senate-oks-bill-to-rewrite-prostitution-laws Considering it is the CONSERVATIVE national convention, it might be worth using a bit of screening if even considering going for the particular event, as places tend to like “reminding” people of how conservative they really are.

Ever been pulled over out of town? How to respond:
Mocha replied to Mocha's topic in Questions About Hiring
Excuse me? Oh no you didn’t! You are being quite overally sensitive. And I don’t know what circumstances you refer to I create, but that’s jive talk. I don’t know where you get that from, but that’s not the case. I’ve met several clients who were formerly in law enforcement. I have no problem with them nor anyone who currently is in the force. I do know however, many traffic stops are bogus and unfair. I remember many years ago, San Antonio, Texas (prime police state) was riding with a couple of friends in their Honda Civic, we all had to get out and have the car searched. Nothing incriminating was found. It was just a waste of time and unnecessary interaction with a “peace” officer. So yes, I don’t have any “problem” with law enforcement like you erroneously seem to believe I do, but I do have an issue with them performing random stops/searches. I think it should be unlawful unless someone gets into an accident. I feel the same way with DUI’s. People shouldn’t get a DUI unless they cause an accident/drive reckless. But I won’t go there either. Even though I see more crashes caused by people going to/from work in rush hour traffic than there are from having a couple drinks (like the lady who rammed her Volvo into the side of our moving truck at like 40 mph because she was running late on her way to work). Just saying. However, If a police shouldn’t be able to randomly knock on our door and “search our premises”, then they should have no business searching a vehicle. If police could randomly knock on doors and search homes (with no warrant) like they do with cars, lots of gay men would be criminals now, considering all the drugs I’ve seen in homes and hotels. And I’m not just talking druggies, but successful high ranking business men. Yet...I’m supposed to be okay and not murmur about them searching a vehicle? Pì TASH! -

It is a sport: it’s called drifting -
You can reach out to me. I have done the cabin in the woods, mountains, etc. Of course a cabin in the woods doesn’t have to be some spooky, isolated shack in the middle of nowhere. Some cabins are designed like a house, where you can like...pull up in a driveway. Hot tub. Pool. Movie theater. But there’s all sorts big and small. However, your post is a bit ambiguous. It sounds like you’re looking for the ideal vacation with the right “one”, but it sounds like you’re doing a casting call. You say you’re looking to hire someone, but then say maybe 3 or 4. Which one is it? You say you’re wanting someone who is hung, but then rule out a potential suitor who has an average cock. What’s average anyway, and what’s hung enough? I’m not poking fun at you, but just advising if you’re wanting to do such an endeavor and have it go well...you have to decide first what you want. I can tell you now, you’re not likely to get 3-4 guys together in a cabin without some bumps. 1 may not show up, 2 may not be like the pics, and another may not be into the situation. If you do want that, you’re better off getting the regulars who mentioned you already have, all together in one place. For the most part however, it all sounds like a hot, fun fantasy that would be nice to get into. At the same time, you want to be more specific yet less non-negotiable in your quest. I’ll say one thing that I tolerate, but I find can be in bad taste: if you’re going to have multiple guys, wait until all have arrived before starting anything. It’s not fair to the other escort who shows up to his client, and the client is getting fucked or sucking another escort’s dick. I met a client the other month in a swinger’s club setting. Fine. But when I walked in, he was getting his ass licked by another guy who I had no idea was going to be there. I wasn’t mad, but at the same time, surprises tend to throw off the overall vibe. When I ready myself to see a client, I want my session to begin with them. Not me walk into the middle of a movie. That’s kinda rude, and clients who do that usually do come off a bit inconsiderate in other ways.

Lol, depends on time of year. I’ve been back in Wisconsin since Saint Patrick’s weekend and so far haven’t had any run ins: but at the same time I’ve been coming to Wisconsin for years and never had any issues until last year. Obviously I can understand my whole situation looking suspicious, but they went about it as if I was really being busted. When all along there was nothing. Yeah, but sod that. Just because someone else did it doesn’t mean I am. They can’t use that as probable cause or evidence in court. Many drug stops isn’t me. Also, you’re not understanding the degree of what I don’t like. These aren’t just stops: these are 45 minute interrogations, having them search your vehicle while you’re waiting in a police car or on the side of the road, etc. that’s not cool. And mind you: after all of that, I was able to return to my car and drive off. Which I was glad, but it goes to show. It’s not just a war on drugs. It’s sales. Marketing. Then, if I really did have something...like some of my clients over the years I have seen do: I’d be car towed, impound, jailed, basically life fucked. And as much as I hate drugs and don’t do them, I still don’t feel it’s fair to stop people who are minding their business and try to find a way to screw up their life (which I’m sure the drugs also screw up their life, but there’s the addict and then there’s the successful businessman/college student too) Lol, depends on time of year. I’ve been back in Wisconsin since Saint Patrick’s weekend and so far haven’t had any run ins: but at the same time I’ve been coming to Wisconsin for years and never had any issues until last year. That’s just what’s so f-d up about this American society. Especially the small towns. I rarely have issues getting stopped in big cities. People drive 100 mph all day in Miami, they don’t do nothing. Elsewhere, some are like salesmen, I can see them being so desperate to make a charge. I even told one of the Lieutenants that. There’s nothing to see, why was deputy so and so pressing so hard for a case? I’m Voting Cory Booker 2020 lol -

To answer your question: In pretty much all of those situations there really wasn’t anything. They always “try” to give a reason, but it’s usually weak. Not to say that I don’t occasionally speed, but in these cases non. Prior to the supposed no registration ticket last year which like Jussie Smullet: was “all charges dropped” (which I won’t get off on a tangent, but generally what happens when officers “try” to bring charges, but end up not having much of a case)...only other “real” tickets (not including those of occasionally burnt out light bulbs and such) and I’ve had were more than 5 years ago. Non of those added points to my record. That area of Tennessee was west of Nashville in fact. I didn’t know it was a hot area for that. But I can see how it could be. -
Hot cilent here looking for an A list escort any suggestions?
Mocha replied to ukchii212's topic in Questions About Hiring
Exactly. Lemme see, Friday at 4:14 am what was I doing....oh yeah, in the hot tub in a cabin between Lake Michigan and Green Bay with some sexy furry ginger I met that night. Or maybe we were in the bed by that time. Some people must believe I have all the time in the world to play around on here lol. Anything I do have to say, I won’t hesitate. -

I get what you’re saying. Personally: I don’t have anything against them or them doing their job to serve and protect. We need them. However, they need to address the appropriate people. Serve and protect shouldn’t give them license to create the illusion that a minor traffic stop is a drug bust. Off topic: I also think many of these “college scam suspects” will be let off. I knew someone who faced a situation like that many years ago: fbi/police go in guns drawn, create a situation to make ordinary people look like terrorists over a White collar crime. I think there will be 2 or 3 people get some time, but the 40 others likely just have to live with the “illusion” of being a mobster. Don’t get too happy: Race can certainly be a factor, as two others have mentioned. Besides, you don’t have to express approval or disapproval to every thread. If you like it great, if not just keep it trucking. Otherwise, you can simply tailor it to how it may or may not pertain to you. ...so I take it they took you in after that? Also the 2 other situations you mentioned they were speeding. In the situations I mentioned in all those states, I wasn’t speeding. Like they were literally just random stops. I know for a fact some cities (Dallas, Denver used to, but not as much because their crime rate has gone way up) will pretty much pull you over for no reason pertaining to you: “we’ve had some issues in the area”. Well the F, what does that have to do with me? -

For the incident over the summer I mentioned, I actually did get the recordings and had it reviewed by a 3rd party. Every traffic stop is recorded (though it’s generally from the vehicle, and lot of the conversation is hard to interpret or completely illegible) , believe it or not. Getting them is simply a matter of public record. Fortunately and unfortunately, there was nothing to sue for because they didn’t have any charges to file. Nothing was confiscated because nothing was there. Sometimes that’s the more annoying part of these things, unless it’s something really injurious, the civil laws don’t always provide much protection, even though the officer lied and claimed I said there was “lots of drug paraphernalia” found when I brought the car. I did however file a complaint and told them their officer is a liar and a bad salesman (in a professional manner of course). But that’s the thing: I wasn’t aware you don’t have to give consent to all things. Comply, but don’t consent. “Yes I’ll step out the vehicle, but no you can’t search it”. So now, next time I get asked if they can “have a look around”, it’s going to always be no. And it’s actually worked twice, without me actually knowing it. One time an officer stopped me in Tennessee and wanted to search my vehicle within 30 seconds of talking to me. I told him no because my cat has just shitted and threw up in her crate, so it’s not a good time. He went on about his way. BYE POLICIA!
