It turned into a really good story. And Phil Dunster who plays Jamie Cole, the son, is a real looker.

This show is a mess. Not even bad enough to be a guilty pleasure.

I loved this show. Very much in line with my dark sense of humour. Great writing and character development too.

I watch Netflix while I'm on the treadmill so my choices are usually light, comedic series. I just started "House of Flowers" which is a Mexican telenovela that has everything from drag, strippers, infidelity, suicide, a trans character, marijuana, nosy neighbors, and a very cute gay son who claims to be bi and shows his his backside every now and then. And this is only by episode 6 of the three-season series. Each episode is only about 25 or 26 minutes long so I can generally get two episodes in while I'm on the treadmill each morning.

I have been watching this as well - at first I asked, why am I watching this? - but then it hooked me. Maggie Cole reminds me of many people who just can't help themselves.

I was with Killian twice many years ago and he was one of the best escorts I met with. Friendly, kind, easy to talk with not to mention extremely passionate, the perfect amount of raunchy, and a very hot good time. I am still on a hiring freeze so to speak due to COVID (not sure when I’ll get over this but that’s a different story) but I would LOVE to see Killian again.

I do pay for print - a lot! Subscriptions include daily NY Times, Wall St. Journal, and my local daily newspaper, all print and digital, plus two digital-only subscriptions to two regional newspapers. I have experimented with reading the digital editions and then picking up the print edition. I always find I miss quite a bit with the digital version.

We have the NYT 7 Day Home Delivery
Wall Street Journal 5 Day Home Delivery
Florida Times-Union 7 Day Home Delivery
I read many articles on NYT Digital When not at home.
I read the Fl Times Union for local ads (horrible paper)\
and The WSJ for additional market news..

I agree with Epigonos. In my experience, the agencies that used to exist, most gone now, worked quite well for both sides. (Perhaps you were thinking of Maximum as the NYC agency, Epigonos) I asked a hire from that agency why they used it and he said the agency took care of all of the advertising, rate setting, scheduling, and vetting of the client. He felt it worked very well for him, an aspiring actor.

Maybe the Matthew Camp fans know this, but he is featured in the 2013 movie "Geting Go, The Doc Project" on Prime Video. I noticed the movie was mentioned in the Comedy & Tragedy Forum, but that post didn't reference Camp as one of the leads.

Hey everybody! I haven't posted fo' a minnit, but a thread about Toy Boy brought me back!

First of all, ignore everything dealing with the police, the murders, and the murder investigations. Stupid AF.
Second, do NOT listen to it in English. Listen in Spanish, read in English.
Third, prepare your eyeballs for a feast. Although the actors playing strippers were not all my "type," they were ALL beautiful men.

But THIS is the reason to watch this show:
Jairo (and his relationship with Andrea.)

Holy shit is Carlo Costanzia FINE. DAYUM! Jairo, his character, has this very endearing, sweet, lovable, little-boy/puppy-dog quality that I found much more believable than any of the plot. Jairo and Andrea are the two youngest characters, and maybe that's why they are willing to give love an honest try. I'm not ashamed to admit that I re-watched Carlo's scenes MANY times. He's just delicious. Ivan and German are quite good-looking as well, but Jairo is the heart-stealer.

And folks, if you have not yet seen God's Own Country, WATCH IT TODAY. NOW. It became my #1 favorite movie only about halfway through. In some ways, Jairo is Gheorghe's "brother from another mother." Just watch it. You'll see what I mean.

Well, I watched it - I've concluded that play readings conducted as recorded Zoom meetings are not really my thing. I have seen some online Zoom-based performances (not readings) that were actually interesting. I also thought that the amount of growth shown by these characters in the time period between "The Boys in the Band" and this sequel was negligible.

I, for one, actually enjoy the birthday wishes on Facebook. Somehow it lets me know that people I don't seen very often take a few moments and let me know they are thinking of me. Quite a few of my Facebook "friends" are extended family that I enjoy keeping in touch with and old friends I've made along the way. I also use Facebook to send birthday wishes to them when it is their turn.
