Johnrom reacted to Gilfson in % of clients who are straight
Nope if someone is hiring me a man to have sex with them they are not straight. Are some of them married with kids sure. But they are bi. Or at the very least heteroflexible. Class repeat after me… if you have sex with a man and you are a man you are not straight.

Sounds like he needs an anger management course. How about just talk about sports, weather, Netflix, travel, diet and exercise, etc.

I make it less awkward (and I think the provider too), by conversing about something. I hand the money while talking or listening, and that's that.

I always put the money in an envelope that has their name on it in lovely lettering. I make it a point of presenting it to them before I depart. Many times they look at the lettering and say, “ Aww. That’s so sweet. Thanks a lot.” 😊

Vegas is a great product overall. Nothing quite like it. But I think Vegas is alienating some travelers with high resort fees and a lot of nickel diming on things in hotels. Bottles of water in your room for 25 bucks? 😳😱 Give me a break. Plus, most states have ample local casinos now which keep people closer to home and technology has made gaming and betting on devices and computes very easy now. These factors provide some headwinds for the Vegas casinos. 🎰

There were over 168 reports of Grindr outages on Sunday evening in Glendale, where the Charlie Kirk memorial took place, a staggering increase from the baseline number of two. Maybe the available escorts were overwhelmed?

Johnrom reacted to + ApexNomad in How to teach a provider how to top better?
Over the years I’ve learned that being direct about your needs is never an insult IF it comes from a place of clarity and kindness. You’re not telling him he’s bad at his job; you’re showing him how to make you a satisfied repeat client, and that’s valuable information. One way to do it without it feeling awkward is to show as much as tell: get on top of him and ride him slow, let him see how that pace feels good and how much you enjoy it. Compliment him while you’re doing it, then suggest a change, something like “I’d love to be under you going at this pace” or “you feel incredible when you move like this.” Positive reinforcement goes a long way.
Remember too, providers want repeat clients, so telling him what works for you isn’t just personal, it’s professional. You’re helping him give better service.
This is a provider you’ve hired regularly, and I’d be hard-pressed to think he wouldn’t be open to making your experiences exactly what you want them to be.
Best of luck to you.

Also, who cares about the detailing - the session is the one worth paying up for!

The carwash around the corner from me is $9, free vacuums available. There, you now have an additional $141 for your hiring budget.
”may regret it” … as in might? perhaps?? Hell no! as surely as the sun rises in the east, you will be punching yourself black & blue if you miss this (I’m guessing) very limited window of opportunity. Ask him if he takes Visa, then max out your credit limit on this guy. It might take you a decade to pay off the balance, but you’ll treasure the memories — as well as the jackoff fodder — to last a lifetime.

Actually, that did happen (sort of) as I finally met up with him today. Finally. After waiting to hear back from him all week.
As I said earlier this week, I reached out to him via text (I ended up texting him twice) and heard nothing back all week. I left it at that - if he was interested in detailing my car, get back to me. I didn't hear from him, so I left it alone. I assumed he was busy or didn't want to do my car. No big deal.
This morning I was outside and he came across to talk to me as he pulled up in front of his house. He apologized for not getting back to me, and said he was 'visiting friends out of state' so this past week wouldn't have worked. He's around the next few days and gave me a price of $150 for detailing, which (of course) he'd do right in my driveway. I was direct with him on that, and told him I would give it more thought as the price was a little more than I thought I'd need to spend on detailing (again, maybe I'm wrong but I was thinking more $100 plus tip.) He was fine with the answer, and seemed to understand. At that point, I figured before he turned around and went back home, I should ask him about RM - why not ? I considered all the responses here, and agreed with the fact that he's offering his services and I'm a customer looking for his services. It's called business.
'Before you go - I have one more thing to ask you...' So I told him I saw his ad, and I was interested in an appointment with him. He didn't have much of a reaction except the raised eyebrows, and just said, 'OK - Cool' I told him I didn't need a response now, and asked if he thought it would be awkward, and I told him I would understand if he said 'No'. He said, ' Awkward? Not at all.' He asked what I was looking for , I told him, and he said with a smile, 'I promise we'll have a good time. Let's do it! When were you thinking ?' But before we planned a day and time, I needed to know how much he charged and asked him. He quoted me $350 which (once again) was more than I was expecting or budgeted for these encounters (we all have our $ limits). I didn't ask him to lower the price, but I did tell him that was more than what I usually pay for 'this hobby'. He smiled and told me he was definitely worth it, and I assured him he probably was - but I couldn't do it at this time. He was understanding and told me if I changed my mind to give him a call and he'd be over. 'Nothing awkward' he assured me. He gave me his 'bro hug' and headed back to his house. It went well, overall.
So to have him detail my car and have an hour appointment with him would set me back $500 minimum. As much as I'd love to employ him, I simply can't afford him at this time for both or either services. I may regret it in the future, but that's $500 I can spend on more important stuff right now, not a hobby or making my car sparkle. *sigh*

Personally, I believe that the "best touch" comes from TRAINING, and then a bit of intuition. Clearly this fellow is just gonna glide his hands over your body and hopefully play with your dick.

While I’m slow-traveling, I’ve been keeping up with the situation back home. Yes, Las Vegas survived downturns like the Great Depression (then a small town, it actually boomed thanks to the Hoover Dam construction) and the 2008 GFC, but this downturn is all of its own making.
The appeal of old Vegas was that middle-class tourists could come and feel like VIPs. Sure, you lost money gambling, but pit bosses were generous with the comps. Even when Steve Wynn changed the business model with 1989 opening of the Mirage, visitors still felt like they were getting decent value. Restaurants were pricey, but most were really good. Comped or at least discounted rooms were common, and free drinks were a given.
First came the resort fees, which started small and have been climbing ever since. IMO, the snowball started rolling down the hill when the casinos ended free parking. The old-timers said tourists would boycott, but nope they kept coming, just grumbled a bit. That gave the bean-counters the green light to start death by a thousand cuts, nickel $ dimeing visitors with service charges at every turn and even charging a high-roller ($25K a hand!) for a $10 smoothie.
Of course, the high-rollers (refusal to comp the smoothie aside) are still treated like royalty, as are high-end business travelers, but according to numerous reports, the average Vegas visitor is treated like sh!t. For a while, the top-tier spending more than made up for the loss of the nurse from San Antonio and the plumber from Chicago, until the desertion of the middle-class became so great that there simply weren’t enough 1 percenters to offset.
I’ve heard that the casinos are realizing their error and are trying to lure back the middle-class they so recently scorned. Unfortunately, once you really piss off a regular customer, it’s just not that easy to get him back.

It's the age old problem of corporations chasing perpetual growth in ROI rather than a steady profit. At some point you hit the limit of what you can squeeze out of the customer before they sour on your product. I used to go 5-6 times a year and now it's 2-3 and the last few times, if it weren't for the fact I was meeting friends, I would not have cared for the experience.
What's sort of interesting is I think the high-end food places are doing better, because they haven't raised their prices by the same percentage. So the gap between the food court and the steakhouse is smaller.

HOW I LEARNED I WAS GAY.
I was 17 years old, and had stopped to use the men's room in the Port Authority bus terminal in Manhattan. Suddenly a note was thrust under the divider from the next stall: "Meet me outside." Curious, I left and was approached outside the men's room by a young man who emerged from the door. He looked to be in his early to mid 20s, and he introduced himself with a name that sounded vaguely foreign, possibly French. He was cute, slender and a little taller than I was, with dark hair and a tiny mustache. He asked, "Are you gay?" but I didn't know the word except in its normal usage as a term for being happy, so I said yes. When he asked if I would like to go back to his place, I thought,"Why not?" I had never done anything sexual with anyone, but even though I had a steady girlfriend, I already knew I was attracted to other males. So I went with him to a room he was renting in the East Village.
When he locked the door behind us, he asked, "What are you into?" I told him I didn't know, so he told me to take off my clothes and get into bed, and he did the same. For the next couple of hours he introduced me to the basic sex acts: sucking and fucking, as both top and bottom. When we were finished and I was getting ready to leave, I said, "Wow! I didn't know these things were possible!" He gave me a puzzled look and said, "But you said you were gay?" I looked confused, as he realized that I didn't understand the term, and he had just initiated a neophyte.
