I always take those “into” lists with a grain of salt. Like I’ve mentioned in other threads, it’s always best to confirm directly with the provider about anything that’s important to you.

Honestly, I would guess most providers don’t give much thought to that section of the profile, I see many other profiles with all selected or none selected.
Another thought I had is: the more you select, the less you highlight, like, should I select everything I am into since this is a feature for the filters or should I select only a few of them that I would want to highlight, like “Kissing”, so customers know that it I am a provider that kiss?
I ultimately decided for the first option, but I think most boys don’t overthink that much, so I would advise to not give it that much attention when hiring.
If you really want to know, you can always ask, but honestly, I don’t really understand when clients introduce themselves with their pictures, age, or any other characteristics of them, that’s not a valid reason for me to decline service. Me personally prefer when a client approaches me and tells me what they are looking for right away, what matters the most to me is to know what will satisfy the client, hope more providers can share as well what is their preferred approach when hiring.

The "daddy" thing might be interpreted as a specialty, not that they are not interested in older men as clients. That word can mean different things to different people. To some it could imply some kind of role play, to others, that they prefer older men, to others that they are age inclusive.
Lately the labeling in this "community" looks more like segregation rather than inclusiveness, so I'd not jump to conclusions and maybe ask. I say maybe because if I start communication and the provider doesn't ask, I don't see the need to volunteer information or inquire.

As @nate_sf alluded to the provider might simply not be into any kind of daddy/son roleplay. If a provider is not willing to see a client of a certain age he'll have it stated right in his ad or will let you know when you inquire. I have seen in more than a few ads providers stating they only see clients above a certain age. I honestly though can't remember one time seeing in an ad that they need clients to be younger than a certain age.

I'm solidly middle-aged but do not consider myself a "Daddy." I have never had an issue with a provider unless they mention age or physical appearance requirements in their profile, in which case I don't even contact them. 

I wouldn’t assume that necessarily. Checking the Daddy box on the into list could mean he’s into older guys, or is into a Daddy/“Son” scenario, and/or he considers himself a Daddy. Best just to ask!

Just to be clear I have never asked nor have I even thought of asking a provider to make such changes. However I heard of someone who had made such a request and I found it hard to believe and wondered if others have made such requests.

For clients, have you ever asked a provider to change an aspect of their physical appearance? And for providers, have you ever been asked?
Examples:
- Trim a beard, go a few days without shaving, grow a goatee
- Trim a hairy chest, don't trim for a week or so if you do, trim/shave pubes, shave balls, shave ass
- Cover up tattoos, wear a temporary tattoo

Another approach could be to just schedule a therapeutic session at first, not a sensual one. You could tell him who you are and congratulate him on launching his new venture, and say you'd like to support his endeavor if he's comfortable with that.
On the face of it that would seem tame enough. Then in subsequent sessions if it feels right, things could progress to sensual, but if it doesn't feel right little will be lost since it was just a legit therapeutic massage.
