  1. Are the photos he posted suggestive? I would simply ask if he provides a sensual massage and if so, what that entails. He'll read between the lines, I'm sure.
  2. I agree, but when a client cancels at the last minute, he can and should offer a small compensation for time. Do providers ever add time to a future appointment for the inconvenience? Would be nice, and more in line with what a business would do.
  3. Yes, we've spent a couple of overnights together on a different trip last year. (After a couple of failed attempts, I admit). He often takes a couple of days to respond, but always has before. And unless I'm wrong, I don't think he's a drug user or anything like that.
  4. We've been texting for quite some time, so I think just not answering. Also his RM ad expired, but he's always bad about letting it lapse and then renewing. I'm at a loss, as we had a good conversation setting it up and he excitedly sent me the flight confirmation. Then ghosted when I reachedout a week before for logistics and havent heard from him since. I really hope he's OK.
  5. Must be something in the air. Had plans with my favorite provider to meet me on a trip I'm on. He even sent me a copy of his ticket revealing his name! Then ghosted leading up to the trip and still haven't heard from him! I came here a couple of days early because he was meeting me. I'm actually torn between pissed and worried, as this hasn't happened before.
  6. Unless I'm in a committed relationship, I would continue to hire because I desire a very specific type which 99% of the time would not be interested in me sexually. (My estimate may be a little low)
  7. https://rentmasseur.com/GabesSpace He says he's back. Anyone have any experience with him? No pic either.
  8. I would hope a provider showers between encounters if they provide anything other than legitimate massage.
  9. Does anyone who has an exterminator or roach baits still not had a roach in their house? When one runs out, would you not eat at home any more? The restaurant is probably cleaning better than you are. They probably should have comped the meal that day though.
  10. The review situation on RM is less than worthless. Anyone who contacts a provider through the site and sees them should be able to post a permanent review. And the provider should be allowed to respond. If a reviewer turns out to be illegitimate, block them from reviewing. That's it. And there should not be shade throws for a less-than 5 star review. Every provider isn't for everyone. Because all they seem to allow are 5 star reviews by paying members, they all mean zippo. And you can't even read the details. Idiotic. Probably providers reviewing their friends or themselves through other IDs. Better off eliminating the rating system completely then leaving it as it now stands.
  11. I hope I grow out of it, and maybe it's because Im relatively new to this whole thing, but older guys haven't appealed to me. I also like the illusion that the provider hasn't already done this 500 times. My BFE should be special for both of us. Don't screw up my fantasy.
  12. I know we get attached to providers more than we should (and I'm as guilty as the next guy). But providers are the professionals who don't get attached to us except financially. We shouldn't need to defend seeing other providers. We don't go to a restaurant and tell the owner how much we liked another restaurant up the street. They are just happy to see us when we make it there. Maybe they capture our email address and reach out now and then with a promotion or discount. Some even track visits and give a deal to come back and a special gift for our birthday. If a provider wants to get my business again after an absence, he can certainly reach out, but I feel no need to make an excuse why I'm not. My finances or other hobbies aren't their business any more than they are for Hand and Stone Massage or Sam's club. If their services aren't enough to get me to rebook often enough for them, maybe it's on them to make it worth my while. Im not even convinced that "want to meet?" is a solicitation of business. Is that supposed to mean "do you want to pay me to see you?" E"You haven't reached out in a while. Is everything ok?" seems more like an invitation to book rather than an offer to hang out.
  13. I get that they are unavailable in their host location, but why not just say "away xxx to xxx" rather than post a location where they will be working and unavailable. I found it odd that when hiring someone for a couple of days (and providing airport transportation both ways) he listed the location on his ad. Makes no sense to me.
  14. I don't agree with the attitude given providers, but that wasn't my point. When I said we expected to be treated like valuable customers until proven otherwise, I meant individually. You make it seem like we shouldn't expect that based on how OTHERS have treated you. That's the disconnect. I shouldn't have to pay a deposit because some asshole did what assholes do.
  15. I think it's a double-edged sword. In 99% of businesses, the customer is treated like they are the valuable commodity. Business preach customer satisfaction, customer retention, "the customer is always right", rewards programs, promotions, etc. And I thought this was a business arrangement? Or at least that's what we're told by providers. So in what other businesses do the establishments critique their customers? Difference being a restaurant or Walmart can call the police or dispute a charge back. But it shouldn't be surprising that the customers expect to be treated like valued customers until proven otherwise.
  16. Well I would imagine they usually don't pay much income tax either so it should even out. 😉
  17. I wouldn't pay an Uber for a plumber or any other service job that comes to me to work, and I wouldn't pay a deposit for the same reason. Show up, get paid. That said, If I was requesting someone fly in, it would be very reasonable to do so. HOWEVER, if this wasn't a regular, I would insist on purchasing the ticket (likely refundable) myself, which would obviously require a level of trust having to know the real name, which is unlikely to happen. Just encountered too many flakes and heard stories of others to lay out cash on trust. I also fully understand why a provider would insist on a deposit, but personally I'm not that desperate to hire.
  18. I'm confused by this post. I think it would depend on WHY you didn't finish and why were you disappointed. We're you physically not able despite his best efforts? Were you busy cuddling and never got more intense? You said pacing was off, but he went over time. Did you do anything to move things along? You knew when time was almost up. Maybe he wasn't clear on what you wanted and was waiting for you to tell him? Was this your first time with him? Did you discuss in advance what you wanted? Sorry, but I have more questions than answers.
  19. Your need to comment on my post at all says otherwise, but if it helps you cope, go right ahead. I'm done with this conversation, so if you want the last word, have at it.
  20. Thanks, but if I need your help, I'll be sure to ask for it. Things turn me off on women as well. I guess I just fear everyone. Sorry, but if I hit a nerve, I'm not the one who needs help dealing.
  21. When I hire, I want a masculine gay guy. I like women, and if I wanted feminine, I'd find one. Nothing turns me off a profile quicker than a thong, drag, or someone bending over showing me a gaping hole. I want a regular guy who happens to be gay.
  22. I don't think anyone really wants a straight guy. They want a straight acting guy to do gay stuff with them and maybe act like it's their first time with a guy...but they want them to get into it, so at the very least they want a bi guy. Perhaps some might want a straight guy who closes his eyes and imagines it's a girl, but I'd have to think that's more rare.
  23. I also think as prices go up, I'm less likely to take a chance with someone who doesn't check all my boxes from the get-go. More likely to stick with a known quality.
  24. I don't think this rule has anything to do with xenophobia or the quality of service. But 90% of our dissatisfaction, whether it be about services offered, agreed payments, or setting up meetings are directly related to failed communication. If someone doesn't clearly understand what I'm asking for or what our timing/plans are, it's a recipe for disaster.
