Anyone experience this guy? I found an old thread of him in St. Louis, but seemingly no takers.

Would like feedback on disappointing experience ...
Mark_fl replied to steve10025's topic in The Deli
A lot has to do with the elimination of shame in society. With the acceptance of single parenting as a choice, we have a second generation of kids whose parent(s) didn't have a parent at home because they had to work, and often had no father figure to speak of. Combine that with schools that can't discipline kids and get rewarded for graduating kids who can't even read, and it's no mystery why this generation is largely not capable of being functional adults. Its by no means just their fault, but it doesn't change the fact that some day they will have to face a reality check. -
Many people think the drawer under the oven is for storage, when it's really a warming area to keep cooked foods warm. Maybe that can help.

If these kids are all right, we're all in big trouble. -

Sure, but you have to start with a full time job and maybe a roommate. I've seen video after video of 20 somethings whining about how horrible it is to be expected to work 40 hours a week and how it kills their free time. And that is what you think is ready for life? -
Handjob is a happy ending. Blowjob is a VERY happy ending.

Yes and no. Their concept of the "real world of today" isn't real. At some point they'll have to actually work and move out of their parents house. They aren't ready to be self-sufficient. -

Would be nice to beleive that, but sadly not so. It may not be the fault of the kids today, sure. But the internet has made them grow up faster than their brains can handle it. Also the lack of company loyalty witnessed by their parents generation has killed any work ethic most may have had. Add to that the epidemic of single parents and elimination of shame in anything (living off the government, stealing, sense of entitlement), and it's a pretty bad situation. -
Anyone else not hiring specifically due to lack of interest?
Mark_fl replied to acks0104's topic in Questions About Hiring
Hiring for me is rare, and almost always out of town when I have a hotel. There are very few providers that tick all my boxes, and I'm not paying over 300 an hour. Too stressful to be that worried about the clock. I'd rather pay 1200 for an overnight. I'd rather go without or just get a massage with a HE which I can do much more cheaply. -
Must be me, but nobody is worth $500 an hour to me.

And this is why you don't do business with children. -
And most importantly Disney attracts a disproportionate percentage of gay clientele. Especially OUT gay clientele. This increases both the number of potential providers and clients.

Do you ever contact RM reviewers for more info on reviews?
Mark_fl replied to thruster's topic in Questions About Hiring
I actually appreciate when a provider responds. Their response to a less than stellar review can make me want to see them even more. Getting snippy, vs explaining what happened vs apologizing for a bad day vs. telling their version of the truth. I actually met with one provider and he mentioned that he knew this site existed and that he was upset by a review once and responded to it, but eventually the whole conversation got wiped from company of men. My experience of with him was great and I would have loved to have read that exchange. -

I don't find that particularly helpful. Summaries of bad experiences are more helpful than the good ones. They don't have to be cruel or detailed, but it would be nice to know if a provider did less than promised or his profile was misleading. I thought that was a main point of this forum. To share and promote the good ones and warn us off the bad ones. -

And why.the need to keep "proving" your success by quoting payments received. Its fine. Some people will jump through your hoops (hours, notice, deposits, etc.) It doesn't mean the majority of us will. If it works for you, and youre happy, congratulations. But that's not the image projected here. I read someone who is frustrated with clients who don't agree that your way is best. -
Funny, I thought it was supposed to be pro-good-provider AND pro-good-client. We should be sharing the good and the bad, warnings, best practices, and experiences. I find it pretty easy to tell when a provider has an ego by the way he speaks of clients. I honestly don't see the same animosity toward providers, because we, as clients, love them. Some providers seem to need clients rather than want them.
-
I generally will reach out to a provider I enjoyed, just to let them know I'm open to communicating. Just something like, "Thank you for the good time. Hope you made it home safely" or a comment about something we spoke about. "Good luck in your new apartment." They usually respond, and unless there is a question or something requiring a response, I let it go there. I don’t want to be a pest, but want the communication door open.

There is a difference between someone with no history who shows up to bash or praise a provider. Not worth much on its own. But if someone has a history of thoughtful posts, I very much appreciate the feedback. But I get it. My first post here a couple of years ago was about my first, not particularly good experience. I didn't have a reason to come back for quite a while, so that review justifiably was not held with as much credibility as someone who posts multiple reviews of multiple guys, good and bad. Now that I have a little more experience and posts, I'd think someone would be pretty confident in my assessment. So with anything, especially here, you can click on a name and see their posting history and judge the credibility for yourself.

*Yet another warning about deposits
Mark_fl replied to Austin Lewis's topic in Questions About Hiring
Good point. It shows why providers requiring deposits reeks of desperation or possibly a drug problem, as indicated earlier. Successful businesspeople aren't so desperate. I just had a freezer repair guy check something out on my freezer. Told me to wait a few days and if that solved the problem, he'd bill me, otherwise he'd come back and replace the component. Didn’t charge me until he knew the work was completed successfully. This is how you know you are dealing with a reputable company. -

So glad you are against assumptions. Hypocrisy is always amusing. Lol -
*Yet another warning about deposits
Mark_fl replied to Austin Lewis's topic in Questions About Hiring
My bad. I didn't realize we were supposed to exchange 1040s before figuring out who should take the risk. Wait. I guess that won't work, as I expect the vast majority of escorts aren't paying income tax on it. And no, the financial risk isn't equal. The one sending the deposit is assuming the risk. If a provider is working from home, or a hotel he's staying at for multiple clients, he is already assuming expenses. If the client is paying for a hotel already, he isn't out additional funds either. But if the client is paying for a room just for this, he even has more financial risk, so I guess you would be willing to assume an equal share? And ehat you spend on a profile is not per client. Its spread across an entire months' worth, so you're talking about a few dollars each if you have multiple clients a month. Tell me you're actually kidding with the cost of placing your ad as the justification for a deposit. -
*Yet another warning about deposits
Mark_fl replied to Austin Lewis's topic in Questions About Hiring
Sorry, but no. No deposits. Sure escorts flake. Clients flake. Should clients ask for a refundable deposit if they get a hotel room or cancel other plans in order to meet the escort? You know, just in case they no show or have to cancel at the last minute? No? I didn't think so. All the reasons an escort would want a deposit apply in that case, but I'll bet you would never send a client a deposit if he was getting a room for your meet-up. Face it. Everyone's time is valuable and trust is a two way street. No depsoits. -
Is it a thing now to have sex with a baseball cap on?
Mark_fl replied to peter831's topic in Questions About Hiring
Not necessarily. They might be giving the people what they want. I'd be happier with a slightly balding guy in a baseball cap than a bald guy. -
New providers every time — or finding a few regulars?
Mark_fl replied to Tajoki's topic in Questions About Hiring
I'm relatively new to this game, but I find the hiring process stressful. I've tried to rehire one I was comfortable with, and that would be my standard MO. I don't enjoy working out the logistics and worrying if they are as advertised, will show up, try and upset me, not like me, etc. Maybe some day I'll do this enough to get bored with someone, but I think I'd mix it up with a known provider first
