For some reason, I can’t shake the feeling that “SecretProvider” and Jarrod are twin brothers who got separated at birth. LOL!

I’m a big fan of blended Scotch, and my go to bottles are usually Buchanan’s 18 Year or Royal Salute 21. For special occasions, I’ll break out the Johnnie Walker Blue Label.

Those pictures actually trace back to a fitness model in Spain named Pedro Gonzalez.

In some cases, this kind of thing is intentional, a form of obfuscation or an anti-scraping measure that certain forums use. In this particular case, and this is just my guess, it looks more like a common symptom of forum database corruption or an issue from a failed migration. I’m sure the admin will be able to figure out what’s happening and hopefully apply a fix.

I haven’t had this procedure myself, I was just wishing you the best on yours.

Yet another fine dining establishment is struggling
+ JamesB replied to samhexum's topic in The Lounge
To each their own. I totally agree they’re unhealthy and bad for you, basically a heart attack wrapped in paper, but to me, they’re still the best tasting ones out of the fast food options in the US. I guess my palate isn’t quite as exquisite and refined as yours. 😁 -

Yet another fine dining establishment is struggling

Back in my college days, my go to quick breakfast was always the McDonald’s Egg McMuffin. I wasn’t really a fan of much else on their menu, except for their fries of course. -
Wishing you a smooth and successful cataract surgery today! You will be seeing the world in high definition very soon, just don’t be too shocked when you realize how dusty everything really is!

None that I know of. Do you report to Mr. Number “the VAST majority of people that contact” you?.

While it’s true that plenty of clients skim ads and waste providers’ time with questions like “Can you host?” even when the answer is clearly stated, the frustration definitely goes both ways. Providers can be just as guilty, many ignore messages completely, don’t bother to read client profiles with key info like preferences or boundaries or reply with vague copy-paste responses that barely address what was asked. This kind of mutual negligence isn’t unique to this industry, it happens everywhere. Here’s a typical scenario I’ve run into way too often. When I reach out to a provider for the first time, usually when they’re listed as “available” on the site, my message includes four simple questions: rates, whether they’re comfortable with my expectations for the session, their availability on a given date and, if they host, a general idea of their location. What happens next? I might get partial answers to one or two questions usually a day or two later. So I follow up with the remaining questions. If another couple of days go by without a clear response, I move on. From their perspective, I’m now a “time waster” because I texted twice and didn’t book. From mine, they’re the time waster because I spent days just trying to get basic information. So… who’s really in the wrong here?

First, it’s important to get clear on your own motivation. Do you want to know because you feel misled or confused? Because you’re hoping for a more genuine connection with him? Or because part of the appeal for you was the “straight” element has been part of the fantasy and you are not sure how to feel if that’s not true?. Even though you’ve built a personal rapport, he’s still working in a professional setting. Many providers, regardless of orientation, create personas that are partly based on what helps clients feel most at ease or aroused. So even if he is gay, listing himself as straight might just be part of creating that fantasy. My suggestion? Let it go. Respect how he chooses to present himself and keep enjoying the experience for what it is. There’s not much to gain from confronting him about it and plenty of ways it could make things awkward for no real reason.

Personally, I never scroll through my contacts, I just use the search function. So whether I have 1,000 or 10,000 contacts doesn’t really make a difference to me.

Any Client Beyond Me & Mark_fl Ever Been Placed on a Timer?
+ JamesB replied to jusmeinbr's topic in The Lounge
I have one provider I’ve hired several times during the last 3 years, and even though he never sets a timer or alarm, his sessions end exactly when the agreed time is up, not a minute more, not a minute less. Technically, I can’t complain since he delivers exactly what I pay for, but I have to admit, it does bug me a little that he won’t linger even a few extra minutes. I’ve definitely had my share of providers who cut sessions short and needless to say, they never get a second booking from me. -
Under the Federal Reserve's Regulation E (Electronic Fund Transfers, part of the Electronic Fund Transfer Act of 1978), banks must disclose their posting order in account agreements. However, there is no federal mandate for a "credits first" sequence. Banks can choose methods like chronological order, low-to-high, or high-to-low, as long as they're transparent. A few states like California via the Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, have rules limiting unfair practices, but nothing nationwide requires credits before debits. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau finalized a rule in late 2024 to cap most overdraft fees at $5 (effective October 1, 2025), treating them as loans with stricter disclosures. However, this was repealed by Congress in March 2025 under the Congressional Review Act. As of now, standard fees, usually $35, remain but posting order is still unregulated federally beyond disclosures.

I used to clean out my phone book back when it was an actual paper one. Every couple of years I’d replace it, and that was the perfect time to do some housekeeping. Since going digital, though, I haven’t bothered. Now I just have a ton of useless contacts sitting there with no real reason or pressure to delete them.

Client’s visiting other client RM profiles repetitively
+ JamesB replied to + PhileasFogg's topic in Questions About Hiring
On the other hand, you’d be surprised how many clients don’t even know written reviews exist on RM. Let alone how to use a VPN to actually read them. -
I’m not really a fan of overnights, to be honest, I only do them with a few regulars I already know very well. That said, spending the night with someone you’ve never met is a bit of a gamble for both sides. May I suggest starting with a 2 hour session and ask the provider if they’d be open to extending it to an overnight if things go well and YOU feel like it. Think of it as a “test drive” before making the full commitment.

Client’s visiting other client RM profiles repetitively
+ JamesB replied to + PhileasFogg's topic in Questions About Hiring
Being unable to read the written portion of reviews isn’t tied to membership level, it’s based on your location. And yes, I completely agree most clients don’t bother doing much due diligence. -
No, nope, absolutely not. Unless there’s a legitimate medical reason, I’m not letting anyone come near my junk with a knife.

Opting out of facial recognition at airport security might feel like a privacy win, but it’s largely an illusion that achieves little while ignoring the broader surveillance reality. Your face is already everywhere in the system the moment you applied for a passport or driver’s license, your facial biometric was captured in high-resolution government databases (e.g., DHS’s IDENT/HART or state DMVs). TSA’s facial recognition at airports isn’t creating new data, it’s matching you against photos you’ve already surrendered. Your biometric profile exists whether you scan or not. Airports are saturated with cameras, gate areas, concourses, baggage claim, even retail zones. These feed AI systems that don’t need your consent. Companies like Clear or airline apps already use facial recognition for boarding passes. The data is already shared across borders and agencies. CBP shares biometric data with five eyes partners (UK, Canada, Australia, NZ) and interpolates it into international watchlists. Your passport photo is cross-referenced globally. Any hope of privacy died a long time ago.

The demise of kindness and respect?
+ JamesB replied to + PhileasFogg's topic in Questions About Hiring
I’d like to think I still treat providers with the same respect and kindness as I always have. But I have to admit, after quite a few less than professional experiences over the last year, my expectations have definitely lowered. Maybe those lowered expectations are starting to show in a way that’s not very appealing?
