So I appreciate the humor in my previous thread on "our trip the grocery store"! Some interesting comments and things to consider. I kept waiting for someone to talk about the "check out" process and nobody did. SO, do you do the self check out (which so many want you to do, like Kroger's or Walmart (so I hear, I don't do Walmart typically) I find the self check out process a little aggravating, but I don't really mind. As an analyst, I like to evaluate the costs of everything and make sure I'm getting the item at the price advertised. Sometimes it doesn't appear that way and the self check out allows you to be on top of that. I do find the bagging a little cumbersome, but I'd rather do it myself than wait in line. Sometimes you have checkers and people (in front or back of you) who are great conversationalists ), but you also get the occasional challenged individual.

Much appreciate the "brand" discussion. It you had to choose, which sheet brand for percale feels the best, is most durable and the best value for the money (not necessarily the least expensive). Certainly curious here.

You did nothing offensive. Unfortunately, there isn't a "preset" etiquette regarding this sort of thing. I have seen clients of mine outside of bookings and most I have waved or spoken to. If a client speaks to me, I'm never uncomfortable. I know a lot of people from different areas of my life and to wave to someone else would mean nothing to someone I just happened to be with. If questioned (as I have been) I say, "he's just a client", and we move on. My suggestion is that if this bothers you, you might ask the provider if seen, how would you prefer I act? That way, everybody knows and it isn't an issue, although I just don't like the "undertone" of it personally.

So there was a discussion in the "Age Shaving" thread about expectations and what clients may want or expect from providers. Some mentioned that "age shaving" helps some to fit into the fantasy of what a client may be looking for in an experience with a provider. Interesting discussion and this thread goes a little beyond the former. The reality is, clients seek very different things from providers. Sure, many might want the young twink, but others may seek a more mature provider, others may appreciate a provider life experience, confidence and education for conversation. Some client may even seek out a provider with specialties in certain areas. So this thread asks two questions. 1) If you are an escort or provider, what do you bring to the table that a cleint may find attractive, satisfying or desirable and 2) If you are a client, what do you seek from your provider and why would you hire him again? I'll talk about my own later in the thread.
