  1. Thanks for the input. I am really appreciating this conversation. Because of my own professional background, I think it is accurate to say that regardless of whether one is an attorney, financial advisor or even doctor, there are similarities. I maintain friendships with clients, regardless of the type, some were friends prior, others have come about during the professional relationship. I have found again, that a distinction between ones "friendship: and professional conduct is essential for success. My friends know that I'm very diligent with my services provided clients, whether friends or not.
  2. Very nice of you to say so! I have planned every aspect of my home very carefully. Having a great time!
  3. Sure it's possible. I have 3 clients that were (and are) friends. It requires a serious conversation about responsibility and the fine line between work (escorting) and friendship. The lines cannot be blurred. If booked, I expect to be paid as with any client. Because they have been friends, my responsibilities to them are not any different. I would say I have several clients (who I met from booking) who are "friendly with me" if I see them outside a booking. Not sure I can say we are "friends", but I haven't had any issues in this area to date.
  4. I will have to ask my mother if they had "typewriters" in 1969
  5. Well I appreciate the input. And yes, fixed annuities are probably more competitive than variable annuities with fixed accounts.. Rolling a client into another annuity is certainly frowned on by FINRA because of the surrender period of each product. It can be done, but with justification and complance approval.
  6. You sound like one of my friends who encouraged me this direction in the beginning. The difference between a professional and one that isn't.
  7. I can certainly see your point. Sometimes you only know from experience with the provider. And no, your not a "contrarian" , I always appreciate a different point of view to ponder.
  8. You would think anything appearing in a professional context would be proofed and spell checked to say the least.
  9. That's too bad. He looks great in the photos. Some people don't know the value of enjoying the assets they have and enjoy life. He should have opted a healthy fitness lifestyle.
  10. Mostly start up, although I have a lot of plants and flowers that will need water. I have a soaker system, but the plan is to use less water than what I am now.
  11. Glad to see some of these companies that sponsor annuity products are finally getting clued in and raising rates on their guaranteed (fixed) accounts. Most are very low 3-4%. I think most of these vendors will be slow to change as they got caught with their "pants down" with baseline guarantees of at least 3.0% when interest rates fell with the mortgage crises.
  12. I think he's real, nice looking, interesting facial expressions. If a new profile, his lack of reviews wouldn't bother me too much, although I'd check to see if does gain some or what happens with the profile (addition of new photos, changes in his personal data).
  13. Glad to see you had a smooth booking in the first example. I appreciate those as well. What I found kind of odd was the 2nd example of the "bad booking". I think that shows a lack of consideration and appreciation for you and what you bring to the table (so to speak). He'd probably be a good candidate to be told "you follow this procedure, or no booking".
  14. I had never tanned (other than a "Farner's tan) prior to the fall of 2016, but a photographer suggested I tan because of the photo shoots I do, both indoors and out. The difference was amazing and would never do a shoot unless I was tanned appropriately, especially in front of white walls or other light colored items in the photo.
  15. Some simple accommodations are fine, maybe a special room or two outfitted with people who are grossly overweight. That's it. There are some people that are greatly overweight due to a medical issue or problem, not because they fill their face with food and get no exercise. I think we have to have some allowance for these folks. Those who are overweight because they opt for a "fat lifestyle" are another matter. Our job isn't to make their lives "comfortable", because they have made a deliberate decision to be unhealthy.. I counsel my non escort clients that a healthful balance is always the desired approach. Here, not sure we can separate one population from another.
  16. Interesting. I know they do those at my salon, but have never done it. I enjoy time in the tanning booth, great way to chill out and relax.
  17. You are most kind, A lot of hard work there. My landscape pond was one of my last projects last week.
  18. I typically have "green hands" from grass stains and mowing. Does that count? LOL
  19. I like the sock usage approach and I'd always take my ID with me, but limit as much as possible after. Maybe cash needed for the evening only.
  20. Hey Scott! Didn’t fare well against Texas, but looking better this year!
  21. Kyle, thanks very much. Really designed the whole place. I live in Wichita. It takes a lot of work. Taken this morning
  22. Thanks very much, Nate. I think your comments are reasonable and make sense to me. We are in the same place as we always seem to be with our personal messages. I did mention to the client that Iin the future, I'd prefer things always to be discussed in advance. Being a structured person, I'm that way with most things like this. He was concerned he had acted out of bounds when we spoke this morning and I told him he did not. We had talked about it and he did say he'd bring his boyfriend along "sometime". My point in this thread was that I was pleased that I could experience a little surprise and react confidently about how the booking would flow. It was fine. But I would call this a standout exception to the general rule.
  23. I wanted to take a minute and recognize many of our state parks. I have been to many of our national parks, especially in the western part of the US, but many of the local (state) run parks can be gems. Being a Kansan, I am quite familiar with the parks in our state and some are amazing. Kanopolis and Wilson State Park are my favorites. I have done a series of fitness photo shoots for my weekly podcast program in many and am into hiking and trails. The photo below is from the El Dorado State Park.
