My experience has always been a positive one.

Well let me say, if I had been invited to any birthday party and my food was paid, I'd certainly come with at least a card and more likely some gift, even if something as a small bouquet of flowers. But, if I were having a birthday of any kind, I probably wouldn't expect a gift at all. I might request a "no gifts" approach. If someone showed with no gift, I wouldn't be disappointed. Their time and effort means something as well. Now, don't take this as criticism, I get it. Everyone has their own views and by no means am I being critical of yours. Happy birthday, when I get to be 50 or 60, I will certainly appreciate anyone who attends!

We went to a twin bed. It is his house, I'm the one getting paid, so we do it his way. LOL

Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor has died
ICTJOCK replied to + WilliamM's topic in The Lounge
I studied her history and a number of cases where she wrote for both the majority and the minority opinions. She was a brilliant jurist! I also liked her personally and her history. While I didn't agree with many of her views, including her support of Bush in "BUSH v. GORE", she certainly has had my admiration and respect. -
So it was a busy Saturday and time with clients during the holiday season a part of it! An interesting little event during time with a client on Saturday, was busy with him on his bed and the bed caved in. My client apologized, saying, "it does do that at times". The best thing to do is view this kind of event with humor. We ended up in a different bedroom. Not sure why we didn't go to that one in the first place, but all good although it did interrupt the moment and that can be hard to "recapture" after a hard interruption. At the conclusion, he gave me a tip and apologized again. I gently suggested that I wouldn't want the time interrupted again and that his time is of utmost value. I haven't had many issues like this, other than a client with a leg issue that he didn't disclose when we started. Any others here with similar experiences? Hopefully it was handled in a positive way and the outcome a good one.

Great discussion and appreciate it! Yes, I have had clients ask me if I am single. It isn't asked often. I usually tell them "I have a personal life and I am not single". What I try and be is come across as professional, a little vague, deliberately as my purpose in being there has nothing to do with my private life, my other work activities or anything else for that matter other an to provide a service to the client. Congrats for the 10 years, I hope many more for you and a fantastic holiday season.

Well I have it on my Facebook profile, you must have missed it! LOL I'll send one to you. I am actually working on it this afternoon, the one of Facebook is from last year, but it doesn't change much.

Well first, when interested parties check my profile, they might be interested or simply curious. Some might be a little interested, but need to consider. Others may be using my profile and photos to jack off. The point is that we all get viewed... client and provider, for varying reasons. I almost never reach out to anyone viewing my profile, unless he has viewed it many times on end and has never said a thing. Secondly, I'd never assume they "aren't interested" if they don't initiate conversation. I don't think anything other than this person viewed my profile.

As a child my mother talked about January 6th and the significance. We generally took our decorations down on January 1 or 2 growing up, but my mother left the decorations on the hutch until January 6. I have the hutch now and the same major decorations and the tradition continues. I take them down post January 6. I remember my mother saying that she started that tradition in 1964 as a newlywed, so it was long before I was born. Quite the tradition.

Hey Scott, the "strip" you referenced is the lower concrete area of the cul de sac (in place of a curb). It carries melting water and it was melting. My boyfriend is in Illinois and he left his Mustang in my drive. Hope you had a great holiday weekend.

Thanks very much. I hope the holidays and new year bring good things!

The holidays are here! Time to share your holiday decorations with the rest of us. We got a literal 2 inch snow today (more than last year combined). Highly unusual for southern Kansas. Was able to complete much of my outdoor decorating yesterday. Wanted to share several photos. Have an awesome holiday season!

Meaning of "special service" in escort profiles
ICTJOCK replied to Your Man in Arlington's topic in Questions About Hiring
From my perspective, it can really mean anything. Anything "above and beyond" what is typically considered "expected" with a booking. I think an inquiry is always in order to define his "version" of special service and make sure it jives with yours. -
Interesting... multi use and helpful of them! Leftovers are such a great part of the day!

Sounds awesome indeed! Hope you had a great time!

ESCORT APPEARANCE: What do you expect when you meet your escort?
ICTJOCK replied to ICTJOCK's topic in The Lounge
Some great advice, I'll certainly always keep that in mind during the summer! -
Looking forward to an awesome day ahead with a feast at my home and another with family on Saturday. Many wishes for a positive and pleasant day to all! How are you spending the Thanksgiving holiday?

What type of guys have been catching your eye the most this 2023?
ICTJOCK replied to Newtdad's topic in The Lounge
Well I'm always attracted to men who are physically fit and dedicated (no surprise). However, many of my clients who are average, ordinary men with good communication skills, positive and energetic catch my eyes and ears! Some of my best clients are men who may lack the "fitness", but are really good men and I enjoy escorting for them. The old adage, "don't judge a book by it's cover" is very applicable here. -
Adam4Adam suspended my profile, should I bother returning?
ICTJOCK replied to JB_Studio38's topic in Questions About Hiring
A prudent decision. A 4 A is good for exposure, but I think the volume of quality client prospects there is much more limited. You are established and successful (and a review of all marketing expenses and their return) so I'd move on and focus on new potential marketing ideas and how effective they may be. They may have just done you a favor. -
Should we be more careful at our banks?
ICTJOCK replied to + keroscenefire's topic in Questions About Hiring
The real issue is that compliance through FINRA and other regulatory agencies are tightening requirements for several reasons, but certainly money laundering a big part of it. Sourcing of the money is part of the process. While I haven't had any issues in the least, but I have income from other areas as well. I would also encourage you to check banks vs. credit unions. While requirements may have changed since I last reviewed them, more people favored a stake in a credit union. Some require a participant to be an employee of a certain employer or group. Many don't now. I would review requirements. -
Anyone else a victim of a "Thanksgiving ham" family?
ICTJOCK replied to viewing ownly's topic in The Lounge
Well fortunately, I like ham, but don't have it much at Thanksgiving anyway. I'm sure your plight is experienced by many out there. Your sister sounds like a self centered individual who is more concerned about her intake than her guests. I'd have Thanksgiving at your home, or if not possible, "conspire" with another family member to put the "T" back in Thanksgiving and have people bring the dish of their choice. If you want to be nice, invite your sister, but tell her to leave her hot mustard to the bedroom.....haha Sorry, it was a late night with a client and still have a bit of an attitude. Hope you have a great holiday and have some great food! -
Absolutely not! Never mentally categorize yourself in that way. There is always something to learn from others. We hope it's largely positive, but it isn't always. Glad to hear most of your experience sounds positive and healthy. I'd use your experience to sharpen and hone your approach to allow for more. You know what is important to you. Just be safe and explore, but don't categorize yourself. Nobody is "out of your league".
