I have a woman in her 70s who works for me who is always phishing for praise. If you don’t constantly reassure her she’s done an outstanding job, she will float the word “resign.” She knows her position is hard to fill, so she is the squeaky wheel but damn – talk about insecure! And God forbid she’d acknowledge someone else works hard.

Regarding cooking an omelette… I have a friend whose husband called her from FL because he couldn’t figure out how to work the washing machine at their home in Ft. Lauderdale. She told him the directions were on the lid. Yet he still needed her to walk him through making load of laundry. When she had knee replacement surgery and he brought her home from the hospital, he offered to make her dinner. What did she want? A can of tomato soup. After a while, she realized he didn’t know how to do it. She didn’t get the soup. He meant well, but just couldn’t figure it out. She does say he makes himself “tuna salad” by opening a package of tuna and mixing it together with mayo…but he can’t cook an egg. Both of them are 75. Ineptitude isn’t singular to a certain generation. I honestly doubt my father would have the foggiest how to make an omelette…

Some things never change. Older generations discount younger generations as incapable and look down at them with dismissive patronizing disdain all the time.

Strange. That’s how I perceive many between 55-70. The children of the WWII generation were handed a fantastic rebuilt world and they come along and are handing off a world where social scientists say their kids can expect to do worse off than them. It is also hard to be motivated when septigenerians and octogenarians are holding positions that should have long opened up for younger people to fill. There is little-to-nothing a young person today can do to move upward in a professional world like there used to be because the retirement-age generation refuses to retire. Why bother if you’re set up to fail from the outset? Be positive? Positive that the deck is stacked against you. Easy for Richard Branson to say… Gen Z might have its issues but all the rest do too – and it wasn’t just to make Gen Z entitled, socially anxious, and individualistic. I used to be young and poor. Now after years of hard work, I’m no longer young. In case you haven’t noticed, I despise this kind of pseudo-scientific social classification based off the Strauss-Howe Generation Theory.

I disagree. My overnights have been much less about the minutes and hours, but actual time together. I’m actually hesitant to hire for anything less than an overnight precisely because the clock seems to be ticking in the background. Shorter “engagements” seem much easier to nickel and dime than overnights…Once you’ve committed to a couple hours, provider and client, ten minutes more or less don’t matter as much anymore.

I have asked. I’ve had guys do it happily. I’ve had guys refuse. I have bought different kinds of clothing for guys too. As has been said, ask. Depending how that goes may determine if you want to meet. You can’t read minds. And so you won’t know unless you ask.

Hiring a provider when they are sick with a cold or flu
Archangel replied to ICTJOCK's topic in Questions About Hiring
If you’re sick, don’t share it. Most guys will probably give you a second shot if you were sick. If they won’t, then they probably wouldn’t be decent guys otherwise. If you have an issue again, he’ll probably write you off as a flake. I can understand that approach. You have to draw the line somewhere. -
A capital* offense in my opinion! *By the true etymological definition of the word!

I am soooo tempted to get political but I’m biting my tongue so as not to rouse anyone from a placid political slumber…

How many guys on this very site are using such telehealth sites for ED medication for off-label purposes? The idea of a medical practitioner, he or she, overseeing prescriptions is a nice idea when there isn’t some hangup they have with it. My GP could observe me for Wegovy but she told me flat out she sends all her patients who want or need weightloss meds to a specialist. Same with when I needed an emergency supply of xanax over the weekend til my shrink was back from vacation; she doesn’t prescribe psychiatric drugs on principle although she could. The doctor makes the call on the script, even in telehealth.

Well, I don’t know that I’d go that far, but it’s definitely extortionist in the USA.

I affirm this. I’m not saying that escorts shouldn’t be compensated and I’m not saying that escorts are luxury goods, but the naïveté of so many escorts or their entitlement is offputting at times. There really seems to be little concept of what the vast majority of people face financially. Add to that their smack about their time being valuable it simply is offputting. While some escorts are savvy with their finances, it does seem that many of these guys are unable to manage money well. They can bring home – albeit not assured – money well over the average income of someone where they live yet still cry poor. I’ve had many-an escort give me a sob story about money. Either it’s a ploy or he’s running through his cash like water through open hands…

His “dumb and full of cum” demeanor is a huge turnoff. I like a guy who has something between his ears and his legs…

Read between the lines. Stop with the happy ending questions

I’m so fucking over communication games. With escorts. With work. With friends. With friends. 🛑 stop ✋ -
That said, I’d like to be with a guy who has perfect English and is a native speaker of German…I miss speaking German every day. 😞

My first guy… He was sometimes PHENOMENAL. Other times, a wreck. He accused me one time (one of our last) we had an appointment of raping him because I wanted him to fuck me and he just wanted to sleep…He was on steroids that night. And not…I raped him as a bottom 🤨 You know how escorts are hyper-concerned about clients wasting their time with excessive texting? Imagine it the other way…This guy would text me. Call me several times a day. I found myself eventually on a conference call with his ex’s mom and him to try to offer relationship advice given my area of employment. It got out of control. Then it blew up and he abandoned me because I made some remark to him that was about my time being valuable too. I later found out he died from overdose. I actually found it out through another escort. Apparently this guy had a reputation… PNP was definitely an issue.

It’s not inappropriate to ask. It’s not inappropriate to deny services. At the end, it’s whatever makes everyone feel comfortable – and happy. -

Eh, my experience is that aversion to change spans all genera of personalities. It’s not just one type person; although there are plenty of types of things many people refuse to change. -
The thing is your awareness makes you culpable for treating people like a bully. It’s not an acceptable justification. If you are aware and do it anyway, you are doubly responsible.

All of the bad posts you have? As in this isn’t the only incident…? 🤔 What seems to be the common denominator? I don’t even know that my number has ever been on Mr. Number, let alone on their multiple times…

In addition to playing the victim, now you’re trying to gaslight us into saying what we read wasn’t what we read. I don’t often agree with @pubic_assistance, but he’s right. Be an adult and own responsibility.

It’s kind of rich of you to play the victim after we all read the conversation where you threatened him with police and deportation etc.
