Hey guys, the session happened and he's the real deal.
Pros: Super friendly, very professional in text comms and in person.  Dark blonde - to brown hair, blue-green eyes, 5'9" little muscle boy, exactly like his pics, AMAZING butt, beautiful back, quads and abs- really my weakness.  Handsome is always in the eye of the beholder, but to me, he was very much the sexy all American white boy that could have been on the wrestling team in college. Talented and dedicated bottom, and really wants to please.
Cons: Doesn't kiss much, doesn't host, wants to (at least see) payment up front in cash at the beginning.  For me, none of those were deal breakers.

Since you've clearly lost the argument and been exposed as an alarmist who probably watches Fox News, you resort to personal attacks. There's no agreeing to disagree. You're incorrect on the facts by a WILD margin. We've had homeless people, some with mental health and substance abuse problems, on our trains my entire life. The fact is that violent crime had a slight uptick last year, some robberies are up - again nothing like the 90s, let alone the 70s or 80s. If this is how you feel about NYC, I suggest you move somewhere less frightening; unless your cheap ass can't afford Darien.

Do you get any channels besides Fox News? I was on the subway last night and there was an occasional homeless person, but it was mostly average NYCers. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Perhaps @Marc in Calif is right that it's an NYC/DC/Chicago thing. But A list celebrities take the subway in NYC. Broadway stars take the subway. So the idea that some fit, healthy 28 year old can't take the subway is just silly.

Why would anyone send a deposit…is a guy really worth sending a deposit to just so you can meet up….? Guys are a dime a dozen. Sorry but some of you need to start thinking with your big head rather than your small one

When some clients have repeatedly posted  here “no deposits, ever” and their reasoning, that doesn’t appear to change your mind on the matter.
    Just sayin’ …

It's much better to get a room at higher-end hotels by using dayuse.com. You get a room for about four hours with a very reasonable rate.
Those cheap motels in SOMA are often pretty sleazy day or night. And you can even find some of them on the Bedbug Registry: bedbugregistry.com 🐞

The bottom line is the bottom line. And mine is provider rate increases have been far outstripping my income increases. In fact, I make less now than 10 years ago, not more. The math is simply starting to collapse.

I'm probably looking at a big readjustment of my entertainment budget this year and will simply have to indulge my passions far less frequently or renew my efforts at making connections where no money changes hands. This hobby is a luxury I am increasingly unable to afford, especially at the frequency I've previously enjoyed.

This is a huge peeve of mine with some providers.  Not sure how they think this is good business sense.
I get some clients can be a pain in the ass with never ending messages.  When I am looking at someone new, my standard questions are if they are available at a certain date and time, rates and if they can outcall to a certain location.  I don't think it's asking too much to get more than a one word answer to these questions.
I now just immediately stop engaging if this happens as it's a waste of my time.  There are plenty of guys who are polite and willing to work with you.

I haven't encountered this myself, usually the questions I ask don't lend themselves to one word answers.  If I did get such a respose I would follow up with a simple "Thanks, can you tell me a little more" type of reply.
If they still won't engage, I'd just take that as a sign and move on to the next.

What a disappointing reply from a faceless, anonymous poster. I choose to believe your heart is in the right place and  I loathe to get into a tit-for-tat but I do have to point out some inaccuracies in your post.
Do you ever get called out to strangers addresses to attend inside someones house or apartment all on your own? Do you ever have to give out your address to patients? Do you ever get asked to go inside hotel lobbies wearing bow ties and wait for the client to greet you? Do you take bookings from anonymous style profiles on rentmen?  Congratulations on your alleged, very prestigious profession - But you are not put in vulnerable position that we are. We are certainly not the same providers, but IF you are a doctor, the only commonality is that we both help people.

I pay a deposit to make advance booking with my I go to my hairdresser (which I go to monthly)  I pay deposits when I book hotels I pay deposits to advance bookings at restaurants. Here in NYC I even paid a deposit to book seats at a cocktail bar just this month!    ('Overstory'  if anyone gets the chance to go there - the drinks are INCREDIBLE)  I am having tattoo removal (silly decisions when I was a teenager) and guess what ? The clinic takes my cc details and charges me a no-show fee when I book the advance appointment!  You are correct that all professions have no-shows, but the scale at which we are inundated with fake calls and no shows is astounding.  Including from some people who post here on these forums.

I think you may have missed the part where I mention I offer options for clients who -for whatever reason - are uncomfortable with deposits: message me on the day and if I am available we can make an appointment. But I will not hold a spot for someone who I have never met, from a google voice phone number, or random RM account - who professes to be willing to spend hundreds of dollars but will not commit to send $20 to lock it down.  Just like your 'I'm a doctor so my posts has weight' lacks credibility - so does these types of booking requests.
Check out my rentmen profile - check out my twitter. I put my name behind my words, which in my view gives it some weight.  Telling people to "Do not listen to the above escort." as if I am going to scam them is pretty rude and I take great offense to it.  I am a geniune, kind and trustworthy person - I have proven myself, and have the reviews to back it up.

How does this protect me from fake bookings, prank bookings and no-shows again? (rhetorical question because the answer is:  It doesn't.)
But thank you for that very unhelpful advice!  Once again -somebody who professes to be willing to spend hundreds of dollars but will not commit to send $20 to lock it down lacks credibility.

Finally - I am glad you profess to love & respect us. This post you just made didn't feel really respectful and loving. It actually made me feel the very opposite.

    Hi
I'm a provider too, albeit slightly different.  I'm a board certified physician practicing medicine here in the US.
Yes, I get those, too. Even from established patients of mine. I discharge any patients who do this repetitively. I do not demand deposits to make an appointment.
FYI: ALL professionals get no-shows.  It's perplexing why you think your profession should be somehow exempt from this.
All good business men (including physicians) must come up with strategies to manage business scheduling losses.

FULL DISCLOSURE: I will never give a deposit.  I've been hiring for awhile & I consider myself quite experienced now, and I have never been asked for a deposit & never will provide one.

TO ALL MY GAY BROTHERS OUT THERE WHO HIRE:
Do not listen to the above escort.
Do not EVER pay a deposit. You WILL very possibly regret it.  You will help other Gay men regret it.

And if you DO pay a deposit:
You will encourage MORE SCAMMERS to infiltrate the gay-escort business who will RIP  us OFF!  But by keeping a No-Deposit-Culture we minimize this cancer.
If you DO pay a deposit:
You will encourage more psychopaths to infiltrate the gay-escort business who will then PREY ON US (cuz they have YOUR personal info) BY extorting those who provide this info.

To My Gay Brothers Who Cancel Last Minute or No-Show:
What the fuck is wrong with you?!?
Escorts are beautiful,  wonderful,  fun and VERY worthy of all the respect & love we can GIVE THEM.  No-showing harms EVERYONE.

    MY SUGGESTION:
If we hear of any gay poster to these boards we absolutely should BAN HIM as he helps to create the very toxicity that drives the above mentioned escort to his inappropriate deposit-demanding behavior.
    Love & hugs to all,
    Josh

Don't do it, unless you're paying for uber, airfare, etc.  I've gotten these results whenever I do deposits: the provider has a conflict with his schedule, requests more $ for discounts, and most common, no response after you send the deposit.

Boys, I was so happy to see Will advertising again after a break.  I went to see him and can report that  he is as sexy and sweet as ever and the massage was an A+  He is at a new location just north of the Castro and easy to get to.  Immaculate and inviting, as was Will.  He technique was amazing and unique.  I left feeling super relaxed and awesome.  Feel free to message w/ any questions.  And he definitely looks even better than his pix on Masseur.  I saw that he has his RentMen ad back up as well and although the pix are a little older there, he looks the SAME.  Smoking hot.
