When you say the woman who hired you was let go after only 6 months, that almost makes it sound like it was a case of "cleaning house" because they didn't feel she was working out and she brought you in. It's not uncommon for the people an outside hire brings on to get canned when they do. I think the other elements likely contributed but may not be primary. Or maybe they are. Just odds are it's not going to be sufficiently provable in court. Not sure how helpful the EEOC would be given the current president.

As a practical matter you may never know if you are out there. There are MILLIONS of porn videos out there on the web at this point, and it's not like in a situation like this the person is likely to put your name in it so it's searchable. That doesn't make it any less of a violation but it does diminish the odds that people who know you are going to find it. If you are extremely attractive then I suppose it's more likely that you might find yourself outed, but probably not.

FYI - In the current venue I don't think I've seen anyone use the "private rooms" because the curtains that separate them from the lapdance couches are not opaque so all you're really getting is extra space, not privacy. At peak times I suppose that space may be a consideration.

I would think bathhouses are a solid option for the many people on apps who can't host. College kids living with parents or roommates, the married guys, etc. I just think as cities gentrify its harder for them to justify occupying the real estate given the revenue stream is typically modest. The two bathhouses in Vegas seem reasonably busy but I still can't imagine they're pulling in enough money for the owners to really put money back into the facilities.

I went to McDonalds quite a bit in my 20s. Then for some reason I didn't happen to go to one for several months. After that, any trip to McDonalds invariably resulted in the urgent need to take a dump within an hour of the meal. I guess something changed in my intestinal flora and I couldn't tolerate it any more. (I felt the same about the taste as before, it's just my body now has a reaction to it that is...inconvenient at times.)

NYC has enough older horny closeted/too-scared-to-really-act-on-it/get-off-more-on-the-chase men with "fuck you money" that think nothing of the sums these people are asking that some will always be in business in this town. And consequently there's a bit of an inversion of the expectation that the more someone charges, the more will happen. If the amount asked is significant to you, in general you should look elsewhere as you will likely be disappointed.
