Why do many Massage clients book things at the last minute?
+ sniper replied to JB_Studio38's topic in Spas & Masseurs
I should note that I was only speaking to the seeking on short notice issue. Flaking out on appointments scheduled, by either party, is incredibly poor form. -

I think it's just the nature of the beast and there's no getting around it. I generally look for something within less than 48 hours but I also accept that means my first choice may not be available. I ask and if they say no I thank them and move on. You aren't always going to be available even if they're calling a week ahead, anyway. If you get this upset about it get an online booking app and remove yourself from the process. -
Seems like that would have been a good time to walk the dog... Was he naked when the friends arrived and then he put the shorts on when they got there? i.e. did they see him naked?

Grocery Surprises, What's Got Your Goat With High Price?
+ sniper replied to DR FREUD's topic in The Lounge
They've been saying "shortly" for years now about a lot of automation. The fact remains that the human hand and arm have a number of degrees of freedom that are computationally extremely tough to program, and then there's the visual inspection aspect. -

The flip side of making everything as "efficient" as possible is that when you've eliminated every last redundancy, you have no slack when there's a shock to the system. This is what's happening now. -
Grocery Surprises, What's Got Your Goat With High Price?

If it means the workers who pick my food aren't living in what amounts to slave-like conditions, I consider the higher prices a fair tradeoff. The continual grinding down of the bottom half of our workforce finally hit a hard limit. I don't think professionals have any clue how abusive the working conditions of these people are. I worked in retail in HS - had a union, there was a process for requesting not to be scheduled on certain days, once the schedule was set you were getting paid for those hours even if they sent you home because it was a slow night. Now they expect people to be available all the time, if it's slow they send them home with no notice and they don't get paid, etc. Those jobs are no longer a step up to the middle class, they're a trap in the lower class. -
I had my second shot six months ago, but due to scheduling challenges, I didn't get my second until almost 8 weeks after the first(Pfizer) So I'm holding off a bit.

Public School/College Nude Swimming Required (No Porn)
+ sniper replied to Bearofdistinction's topic in The Lounge
I know a guy who worked in juvenile corrections for a while - I think a halfway house type thing. He said it was not uncommon that they had to teach kids how to bathe. They would demonstrate soaping up their arm and tell them they needed to do that all over, including their private areas. (This was past the era where they would actually watch them shower). -
Pretty sure Starbucks has more customers, given they can provide their service in like 1% of the time for a massage....

Public School/College Nude Swimming Required (No Porn)
+ sniper replied to Bearofdistinction's topic in The Lounge
Thinking about it more I wonder if the insistence on showering in school being more prevalent back in the day was a piblic health decision. There were relatively more poor people back then and it was probably a way to make sure kids were getting clean without subjecting them to individual scrutiny. Kind of like free school lunches kept some people from the stigma of applying for welfare - and/or helped the kids whose parents would rather starve than accept charity. -

Did the school know this was happening? -

Was this a private school? How did this fly? Or were you all fucking and this was a secret shoot? -
My disabled sister lives in a nursing home, and she said there are a number of residents who hook up and there are always horrified family members who are upset to learn that the facility doesn't stop it because the patient has the right to make that decision.

Group Activities for a Friend with a Physical Disability

Well I was assuming this was a group party at a residence and there would be strippers for everyone... -

What if you "ordered in" for strippers rather than going to a club? -
While I agree that many gay people use the bi identifier as a stepping stone, I think we are still outnumbered by bisexuals by AT LEAST 3 to 1. (and then there's the bisexuals who round themselves up to gay just because it's so much easier to get laid). My premise is that most of the bi guys seek out these types of environment for the opportunity they provide and their hetero experiences offer them a degree of cover that the gay boys don't have. I played on a gay rugby team. The "straight" teams seemed to do way gayer group shit than we ever did.
-
Is it that the frats had a lot of GAY men or a lot of BI men? There are simply many more bi men than gay men and I always figured the frats were dominated by the "bi-sexual but hetero-romantic" types because of the opportunity for shenanigans. As a totally gay man I was, frankly, too afraid I'd get murdered to join a frat. But if I was bi I'd have been all over it.

For that matter, getting a massage involves literally turning your back on the masseur and he could pretty easily kill you were he so inclined...

Eh... Bottoming is the riskiest thing from an HIV standpoint, I can understand people separating that from other activities. I doubt it's about hemorrhoids...but there are also people who find bottoming particularly uncomfortable.

All y'all rooting for her conviction are gonna be mighty upset when locker rooms everywhere start banning nudity altogether and you can't suck cock in the steamroom any more. Because that's the next step.
-
Was the prior conviction a similar thing? Changing where some people think she shouldn't be? The offenders registry should be for actual rapists, not for someone who takes a leak on the side of the road at the wrong time.

dammit, I knew I should have checked back later!

It was most likely your health insurance data, assuming you put the medication through your insurance. It's also possible that the doctor behind the scenes of your website belongs to the same medical group as your doctor. Most medical practices these days, even if they look like they are solo practitioners, are actually part of a larger group or hospital system. Short of going to a free clinic and giving a fake name, or a lone doctor who doesn't take insurance and sticks to paper records, I'm not sure it's really possible to prevent this sort of thing.

I really don't understand models and actors, who are supposed to he able to disappear into a role, getting tattoos all over the place. Yes there's makeup but that's an extra hassle and they don't even bother with it most of the time. Sort of how you can't watch a Jack Nicholson movie without being reminded every second that it's Jack Nicholson, distinctive tattoos remind you of the actor and detract from the character.
