I think you might be surprised how many clients have been ripped off by sending a deposit or a payment in advance.
Once this happens to a client and then a different provider wants money in advance, it is a normal reaction to reject another advance deposit or payment.
"Once burned, shame on you, twice burned, shame on me."
You are likely an honest person and would not default on a deposit.
Unfortunately, a huge portion of providers who ask for money in advance are not honest.

I disagree. I rarely encounter a money-up-front provider, and when I do, I decline the session.

It's a difficult career choice to be providing an intimate service to any sweaty porker who walks in the door. I see nothing wrong with being selective in who he accepts as clients.

Well since I've had a cell phone with caller ID I generally do pick up when I get a call from a co-worker, even if its just to say sorry I can't talk now call me back in an hour (or whatever). OMG that was so haaaaaaard! And I do have an understanding with my co-workers under what circumstances it is and is not permissible to contact me outside of normal working hours. You can put the same info in your RM profile incl when you are on "vacation".
But to answer your question - yes there have been times when I have not answered or replied to a work related call/text quickly. When that happens I accept and deal with the consequences (if any). I do not go running to social media whining, "They didn't give me 8 hours to replyyyyyyyy! That's not faaaaaaaaaair!"

Well at least there's one of you that has it right!! 🤣 😝
But seriously can somebody tell me when as a society we became so bizarre and insular that it is considered "rude" or "entitled" to expect someone to pick up the phone when you call or to reply to a text message (especially when your livelihood depends on it)? Even if its a simple no - two letters N-O.
I can't do that! Its haaaaaaaaaard!

I agree with Karen … I take my phone everywhere with me so I can instantly reply to clients who might want me in the next 5 minutes. Oh…hold on someone is messaging……brb….

Ok that’s him serviced. Where was I? Oh yeah about clients needing 24/7 instant response. So I take my phone….oh another enquiry….brb

Sorry about that, he wanted an outcall 20 miles away in half an hour. Just made it in time. Bit tired now as it was a long session. Sorry for delay in completing this post. Next client is in 5 minutes so I’ll be back later….

Ok that’s him done. Well actually we swapped places and he massaged me as I was too tired. I fell asleep on the table. I’m sure he had a good time as he’d left his load on my bum alongside payment. How thoughtful. Ok where was I? Oh yes I take my phone everywhere and as I write this I’m sitting on the toilet just responding to a client. I hope I don’t drop it dow *^%<#!’…….   <error>

John reacted to Jamie21 in Etiquette around blowing the Masseur
Blowing the masseur is all part of the experience in my massage. I don’t upsell it. Not all clients want it but if they do, then they’re most welcome to have a good suck and if it leads to a mouthful that’s fine too. I’ve one regular client who likes to start the massage that way.
I think some masseurs will consider cuming in the clients mouth an extra and charge more for it. I don’t because I like to make the massage flow nicely, and many clients fantasise about a great massage that turns more sexual. So it’s a proper massage and with sexual acts included.
That’s the difficulty of having a menu type price list with massage. The massage gets very erotic because the intention is to seduce the person on the table, slowly but inexorably building the sexual tension up to a climax.
As the massage goes on the touch becomes increasingly intimate and to have to stop and discuss a rate change part way through kills the spell. So I discuss what they’re comfortable with beforehand and the only thing that would change the price during the massage is if my client asks for more time, or if they want to top me.

I think a thank you after the meeting is great.  Just a "I enjoyed meeting you and hope to hear from you again." Makes me, the client, feel good.
I don't tip. Never will.  I have, however, told providers priced below market that they should charge more and, putting my money where my mouth was, paid more.

I wish they wouldn't change their name.  It makes me, and others, suspicious.  The name should be a brand.  Will Ford call itself Excalibur one day to confuse us all?

John reacted to cany10011 in Do you believe the ones who call in sick the day of?
I had to cancel 3 regulars I had upcoming appointments for, since I found out I had Covid last Thursday. Only mild symptoms for me and one day of fatigue (thank goodness for vaccines)... but for each cancellation, I sent them their full fee via apple pay/ zelle. They seemed appreciative. For me, it's important to maintain the reliability and dependability of being a regular.

Once again, "escorting is a business enterprise" : ten minutes past the appointed hour without notice from the escort, I move on to "backup" and an old-fashioned whiskey cocktail in the bar.
