+ KinkyNEguy reacted to Jiminy in Providers who erupt about politics
I've had a couple of times when the guy started going off on politics talk. It's interesting to know their opinions on certain things but it definitely discourages me to seek their services again. It does hint at how bad the political climate is now because of the fact that even in a completely non-political environment, people still get reminded of it and that they'd be inclined enough to talk about it.
But as long as I get what I paid for, I guess it's fine.

You sound crazy. Leave the guy alone and find someone new.

I was in a personally rare situation over the last week (but of course doesn't dawn on me until I'm back home) that I could've hired a masseur to come to where I was staying, which really opens up my possibilities tremendously, as many providers are "mobile only". Because I was in a gated complex, I wrongfully assumed I was unable to have a visitor in a home I didn't live in.
There's a guy who I got into a heated text argument with who blocked me back in 2018 whom I saw two prior times. His number is the same today, as is mine. Once blocked, always blocked, or do blocks only last for a certain period of time? Does it vary from carrier to carrier, or when a phone plan renews, do you have to re-block those you had blocked previously?
I'm guessing if I got no response (hypothetically), that the block from him is eternal, but a lot can change in six years, and with me it has. I know his likes from his former adult social media sites, and feel like the newer me would be to his liking.

He did ask and he said yes but they couldn’t agree on the price for either the detailing or the escorting.

I do get wanting a FinSub provider though. I am definitely looking for a guy where I pay his fee and then he proceeds to give me back hundreds more, access to his bank account and safe deposit boxes, and shower me with had cold cash. That's my kind of kink.
I haven't found one yet though. 😞

Thank you for sharing your experience and I’m glad it was different than mine. I will say, he seemed generally surprised and disappointed when I refused the "payment upfront" thing. My little head was telling me to take a chance, but thankfully my big head won out. If you find yourself talking to him about it again, please encourage him to just be upfront at the very beginning with his policy.
It’s easy to say "no" with no hard feelings at the very beginning. Waiting until the time of the scheduled meet up burns a little.

+ KinkyNEguy reacted to + Vegas_Millennial in What is it with unsolicited groping among gay men?
At clothing-optional men-only pools in Palm Springs and Florida, I've been greeted with underwater blowjobs and rim jobs. In each case, I am cordial and cary on my conversation with others nearby in the pool, then introduce myself to the fellow who blew or rimmed me when he comes up for air.
Similarly, when I've given underwater blowjobs in the pool, the men politely waited until I came up for air before stopping to introduce themselves and let me know if they were partnered, etc.
It's these social graces unique to gay men's pools that need to be taught and passed down to each new generation, especially with the confusing #MeToo movement overreaction to everything.

Yeah, I’d say you’re swimming in the wrong pool. Stick to the shallow end of the kiddie pool and you’ll be fine.
While no one likes unwanted touch, I personally don’t think of it as "tantamount to assault". In my youth, I’d simply thought it was part of a gay man’s right of passage. The other day I was at a bar and a woman in her 70s was sitting next to me with her son and carrying on. "In my day, if you went out on the town and a man wasn’t pitching your ass you, weren’t doing it right". Her son was mortified and scolded her. I bought her a drink.
At the same time, if I politely brushed your hand away and you persisted, then I would grab you firmly by the wrist and say "if you fucking touch me again, I’ll break your goddamn wrist". Problem solved. Every time. #punklife

Eh, naked gay resorts tend to advertise as a bathhouse environment so it's not quite the same thing IMO. That said, a no of any kind should be immediately respected and any kind of penetration attempt is not an opening move.
Also, i am not someone who goes doing those things because I'm generally not bold, but, say, a squeeze of my butt by someone I'm chatting with when we're both naked isn't something I think is totally unexpected/outrageous. But persisting after I have declined is not acceptable behavior.

I would take it as a compliment...would only get pissed off if he persisted after I told him "no"

+ KinkyNEguy reacted to + Just Chuck in Who else likes feminine cisgender men?
I always say that tastes in sexual attraction are like tastes in foods. One person may love liver and onions while another person only eats ice cream and some people are happy to eat whatever they can get.
My sexual attractions are REALLY broad. (I’m a bisexual/pansexual man.) One of my many attractions is towards feminine cisgender men. Whether they are top, bottom, or side is almost irrelevant. I like feminine men as one of the many flavors from the buffet that I like.
I’m not feminine. I’m a former firefighter and martial arts teacher and I’m probably what you’d expect someone like that to be like.
If you like feminine men, or are a feminine man, please chime in here. Maybe we can network some.

The providers charge what they want to charge, I pay what I want to pay. If/when the two align, we have a great time together.

Exactly, they have a right to quote any fee they want, just like we have a right to conclude that it’s ridiculous and stop the conversation. I know what the median range in NYC is and will simply not engage with anyone who quotes a rate significantly higher than that.

The market will simply humble them. I suspect newbies are the ones throwing these out (or exceptionally hot VIP providers, who are in my opinion, rare).
I doubt that seasoned, client-retaining providers, in our current macroeconomic downturn, are the ones with $600-per-hour price tags.
Best to stick with the regulars who aren’t charging insane prices.

I kind of agree. He does not need to apologize, he needs to educate himself. It is quite easy to explain how a child has two parents of the same gender, at least you are troglodyte.

I’d much rather be in the position of explaining love to a child than explaining hate. Explaining love is a gift. Explaining hate is a burden, and too much of Snoop’s own catalog has already glorified the latter.

There is no perfect solution. We are all human, with foibles folded in.
Thus is the internet.

We also need the “why” of who hates whom. That’s the juicy stuff.

Really? Wow I would like to know about these feuds 🙂. We all love a bit of drama! I think we need a table showing who hates who, who is jealous of who, who has fucked who (both literally and figuratively) and who is the partner of who. Then we could understand the sub text and less than subtle digs and motivations in the posts?
Maybe the moderators could add context to comments like what happens in Twitter: Moderators added context; Poster A started a relationship with the ex of Poster B just one month after Poster B and the ex messily split up.
