I just finished The Velvet Rage and you are spot on that it is no masterwork of gay literature. I'm still glad that I took the time to read the thought provoking book that covered self-discovery and self-help. The part that resonated most with me was the brief description of the fear associated with the emergence of AIDS in the 80s.

My mailman loves Johnny Walker black and I always get him a bottle of that every year for Christmas and he told me it's his favorite Christmas gift he gets from the few people on that route that buy him a gift.

 

 

That may explain the misdelivered mail to most of your neighbors on the remainder of his route. 😉
