Aragon House in Parsons Green. Lovely rooms and you'll live like a (rich) local in one of the loveliest neighbourhoods. Not super central but easy enough to the tourist spots

While not inexpensive, I also highly recommend any of Kit Kemp's Firmdale Hotels.  They're all incredible.

@Benjamin_Nicholas you really get around. i'm kind of impressed at your wide breath of knowledge ( on a lot of stuff) .
I have a love hate relationship with London hotels, and I have stayed at a range of them. From Claridges ( which is fantastic, but so not cheap)  to a dump of a Residence inn ( the one by the Tesco's ) in Kensington . The walls are paper thin.  I haven't found one I truly liked, that didn't cost an arm and a leg.
My two simple rule about London hotels ( If you are searching)
    - Stay out of the congestion zone.  Any place east of Marble arch. ,will incur a congestion charge for cabs or vehicles entering which can add up .I don't often cab around, but I like to do avoid this. The congestion zone is for vehicles only. You can look up the congestion zone map on line.  The Intercontinental Park Lane is in the congestion zone for example……  I had a provider ask me for an uber to my place once, which I didn't mind ( it was late) , but I was glad I wasn't staying in the congestion zone. Kensington is not in the zone.
    - Stick to Zone 1 ( the tube goes by zones, so yes hotels further out are cheaper, but you'll pay a lot in transport)

Years back, Hooboy introduced me to an intimate, cool spot in Earl's Court.  The K+K George.
    https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g186338-d195217-Reviews-K_K_Hotel_George-London_England.html
It's not fancy, but it's no dump either.  It's easy to get to, but set back enough from Earl's Court Road that you don't get the noise, but close enough to catch the Tube in about a five minute walk.  We saw Paul McCartney at Earl's Court Arena, which was also about a five minute walk.
If you want some fun, Villa Gianni is a few streets over.  Star Indian is open until 5am.  It's delicious and they deliver.
Get a patio room on the ground floor, facing the garden.  It's beautiful to wake up to.
Your room rate includes brekkie.  It's quite a spread  (However, you shouldn't pass up a morning at The Wolseley either).

I suppose it's no longer fashionable to call it Earl's Court (now Kensington).  It's an interesting area.  More day-to-day, local feeling than touristy, but close enough to jump on the Tube and get where the crowds are.

Sidenote:  HB told me the reason he would stay there so frequently is that they had reliable high-speed internet included in the room rate, so he could upload to the site on a nightly basis.

I like staying in the Mayfair district.  I stayed at The Washington Mayfair Hotel a few years ago.  It's close Green Park with easy access to the tube station and a couple of stops to the West End (London's Theatre District). I found the Mayfair area to be a fairly central location.

We always stay at the Intercontinental Park Lane, at Hyde Park Corner.  It straddles Piccadilly, so the Queen is one of your  neighbours (actually she was born in the house which was torn down to build the hotel), its in Mayfair and a hop step and a jump to Knightsbridge, with Hyde Park across the rd.
Hyde Park underground station is right on the doorstep.

Although I've considered myself mostly a bottom, I've never enjoyed what some would call a "hard fuck". I've enjoyed taking dicks of all sizes, as long as he doesn't start vigorously pounding away. Unfortunately, there's the whole "yeah, fuck me harder.. deeper, faster" thing you sometimes see in porno. I suspect that's good in porno for some, but not so good in real life. Also, expecting a orgasm from anal penetration alone is not realistic.

It's unfortunate that so many people think that "Senior Living Facility" is synomomous with unhappiness.
My mother went into a Senior Living Facility a few years ago when it became difficult for her to maintain her house. The place had a full continuum of care, from independent living to nursing care.  She started in independent living which meant she had her own one bedroom apartment that she furnished herself. She could choose to use a whole range of services, or not.  She could eat in the dining room or cook for herself in her own kitchen.  She could hop on a shuttle bus to the grocery store or go on any number of field trips (shopping, movies, theater, concerts, festivals, lectures and more). She could have her hair and nails done at an onsite salon and then go flirt with the single men. She joined a book club and played bridge with new friends. She would reserve one of the community rooms to host potluck dinners for extended family. When she started to develop dementia and mobility issues, she (we) signed her up for additional services.  She eventually moved to the assisted living wing of the facility, but by then the place and grounds were her home and the adjustment was fairly easy.

Moving into a senior facility is often not a matter of choice but physical necessity.
One of the main advantages is socialization rather than being isolated in a home or apartment.  Such socializing is good for both mental and physical health.
There are good and bad facilities.  The good ones are great places to live with caring staff and can let people have a better quality of life than struggling in isolation in their own home.
My father lived in a continuum of care facility that ranged from independent living to assisted living to skilled nursing to “memory care.”  A resident got as much services as they wanted and needed.  Until he died suddenly of an aneurism he  never needed any special services beyond housekeeping and meals when wanted.
My mother lived in another continuum of care facility with my stepfather.  They needed more care and got nursing as needed.  They lived in the independent housing part of the campus but after a hospital stay, they might have been in skilled nursing or rehab for a while, then assisted living and finally back to their independent unit.  Normally, they had all their meals in their own unit but in the Winter, on bad weather days, they would have meals delivered to their unit.  They loved the activities and socializing.  They liked having weekly housekeeping and no maintenance worries.
In my mother’s case, we had to force her out of her home into the senior facility.  It became a move of necessity for both her and my stepfather as their home was just too big for them.  After about six months, my mother told me: “I should have done this years ago” she was so happy with the senior facility.

Assisting living facilities are ever changing based on the demographics they serve.  I’m starting to see more facilities opening up with upscale accommodations and rooftop restaurants and lounges.
I placed my mother in an assisting living facility for a few years before she had a stroke and need nursing home care.  She had become a prison in her own home as she could no longer drive herself and most all of her friends had passed.  She finally agreed to move and the first 3 years she really flourished.  She met new people and became more social.  The facility had all sorts of daily activities and social time just to meet and mingle with others.  They took residents out on weekly adventures for those who were mobile.  It was much better than staying home with no social contact.  One has to be prepared for folks leaving the facility for more advanced care.  I don’t recall residents with dementia at her facility.  Years later when my aunt moved to a nursing home, they had a separate wing for the dementia patients.  Once my mother went to a nursing home, the stroke left her bed ridden and a memory of living in the past.  I remember having conversations with her and what she remembered was all true, it just happened 20 years in the past.  It wasn’t long until she stopped talking all together.

    Where’s the option for "yes"?
While I don’t love the idea, I realize that at a certain point it’s a reality.
Watching older people cling to their imagined "independence" of living at home alone is a sad, sad, joke.
They end up being a huge burden to everyone one around them and to distant great nieces who barley know them as well.
I had to shop around for my mother not too long ago. One place was so nice that I seriously wanted to move in (too young).
It was 100 times nicer than any place my mother had ever lived. She thankfully had enough resources to live there for decades.
She lasted less than 3 days and miraculously got her "bed bound" ass back to her house 45 miles away without me finding out.
She also fired her "24/7 at home help" that she had used to hoodwink the care center, in less than 8 hours. The results were
predictable but those were her wishes. So be it.
I often think people who can afford care and refuse it, are selfish assholes or just plain stupid.

I would never use the expression "boyfriend experience" when setting up date with an escort. As this thread illustrates, there are too many different definitions.  I also have no interest in pretending, even for a while, that we're something other than client and escort.  When I've had extended dates with escorts in the past, I've called it what it is (for me): client and escort taking some to time to relate to each other on a non-physical level.
