Is going to college still worth it?
rvwnsd replied to marylander1940's topic in Personal Finance & Investing
You're right - these guys have it figured out! My nephew is a smart guy and decided to attend community college for the first couple of years. The local community college has a stellar reputation locally (as do most community colleges in the Chicago area) and he got his basic courses out of the way there. He also worked for the same company as my brother. He decided to go into Marketing and attend a four-year university (Northern Illinois University). He has told me he would not be doing as well as he is nor would he have been as motivated as he is had he not worked/gone to community college. He's 23 (OMG!) and will likely graduate when he's 24 or 25. When he does, he will have the benefit of experience, education, AND having learned something. PS: good on you for cleaning the air ducts. If you don't do it already, have your dryer vent cleaned. also. You will thank me later. -
👋Moderator here. 👋 The mods don't go searching to see whether a provider is the subject of an earlier profile. There is no rule against having multiple threads about the same topic, so there's no real reason for us to do this. Typically, when multiple profiles about the same provider are merged it is result of a forum member searching for and/or locating the other thread(s), reporting them, and requesting we merge them. 🎩Member hat put back on and firmly in place🎩 As for putting the city in the thread's title, it doesn't matter to me. People move and travel, so there is little value in a thread called "Jack Provider in San Rafael" after he moves to Seatle. "411" is similar. It can mean one of two things: The OP wants the 411 on the provider. The OP has the 411 on the provider. Now, if you are curious about your provider's, ahem, "cleanliness" prior to topping, you would prepend your question with "811."

I've had awful gay providers and great straight providers. It depends on the individual and his ability to deliver a quality experience. As I've said before, a guy can identify as a refrigerator for all I care. What matters is how I feel while we are together.

How much do you tip if the experience was subpar?
rvwnsd replied to Newtdad's topic in Questions About Hiring
I generally do not tip. Period. The rare exceptions are when a provider goes far above and beyond. -

Is there a reason you didn't express what you were looking for in your first contact?

Moderator's Note: The topic of this thread is "providers and venues in Prague." It isn't about the porn industry, the death of a porn actor, or EU and NATO. Please get back on topic.

I've found that to be true of many subreddits.

He doesn't.

Why does it have to be so complicated?
rvwnsd replied to + Pensant's topic in Questions About Hiring
BLECH! Yep, move on. Don't even invite them over. You don't want bedbugs following them into your house. -
Why does it have to be so complicated?
rvwnsd replied to + Pensant's topic in Questions About Hiring
By "downscale motel near airports" are you referring to a No-Tell Motel/Days Inn/Motel 6 or a Courtyard by Marriott/Hampton Inn? If the latter, they are not particularly downscale and would be just fine for an hour or two playdate. No-Tell Motel, on the other hand could be pretty dicey. UPDATE: @Pensant confirmed down-thread he was referring to dirty, mold-covered, bedbug-infested establishments. In other words, makes you wonder whether you should even invite the guy into your home. -
I don't view escorts as being products. Won't attempt to speak for others, but I don't take escorts and masseurs for granted. Unfortunately, we can't ensure anyone's safety when they are not with us. The best we can do is ensure we provide a safe place for providers while they are with us.

I hope the cheese in the sandwiches served to the $1.1 million package holders is at least made from organic milk.

Something tells me the adverse effects of this limb-lengthening procedure would outweigh the advantages of being tall.

Ecos is a pretty solid detergent, as is Seventh Generation. A dermatologist recommended All Free and Clear and Tide Free and Clear and both were fine. I usually add washing soda to soften the water. Oxi Clean Free and Clear contains the same ingredients and has oxygen bleach. Here in Phoenix, you can chip a tooth when you take a sip of tap water so the detergent needs all the help it can get!

My God! I've joked about shortening my arms (hard to find casual shirts that fit a 37" sleeve) but I would never do such a thing. In addition to the pain endured during recovery, there has to be life-long pain and an increased risk of having bone problems.

Got my second Shingles shot - have no fear, ask me anything!
rvwnsd replied to Ali Gator's topic in Men's Health
@Ali Gator, I am glad you were able to get your RSV vaccine. I got mine at Safeway just after turning 60 last year. A friend who is in good health contracted RSV a few weeks prior to the vaccine becoming available. After she collapsed and emergency services took her to the hospital she slipped into a coma. She was told that, technically, she died (I'm not a doctor and am simply relaying what someone told her) and was revived. She was on short-term disability for several weeks, but was eventually healthy enough and has recovered from the cognitive impairment enough to go back to work. When she told me all this, I had just left Safeway after getting my shot. In her words, it isn't something to mess with and is 10 times worse than COVID. -
How long is the perfect length of time?
rvwnsd replied to Andysquestions's topic in Questions About Hiring
76 minutes and 24 seconds. Just kidding. For me, it depends. A local guy, I'll book an hour with the understanding we can go longer (at an appropriate fee) if we so choose. Someone who is visting, I'll go two hours with the understanding we can go longer. -
I agree with what you said, @BenjaminNicholas and as a client this is my expectation. However, there are a couple of things I do differently Aside from the advice to book for a few hours first and then consider an overnight, I advise you to avoid discussing the fee when you discuss what you are looking for in a session. My approach is as follows: Send a note a) describing what I like, the time period, and the date/date range and b) asking whether the escort is OK providing what I am looking for. After the escort replies and agrees to what I am looking for, I ask for his rate. Why do I not request the rate in my first message? Because we are ostensibly paying for time, not the activities that take place during that time. Drawing a bright line between the two conversations is a way to avoid the notion of paying for sex. OK, I'm confused. Overnights typically carry a hefty fee. If you don't want to carry his fee with you while you travel (I'm assuming you intended to type "fee" and not "few") and you don't like using payment apps, why did you ask him for an overnight in the first place? How much is the difference between what you thought you would pay (which you presumably be willing to carry) and what he is charging?

This is heart-wrenching and I am sorry you are going through this, @Brian Kevin. IIRC, you won custody over your teenaged brother. How is he faring through all this?

Just a quick plug for the "Ask a Moderator" forum. Questions, concerns, and suggestions about the site and the way it does or doesn't work are more likely to get the mods and admins attention when posted to "Ask a Moderator." PS: We also get a plethora of reports about posting in the wrong forum, hijacking threads, and off-topic posts.

Awkward to check out of hotel on the same day?
rvwnsd replied to whatdoidowiththisagain's topic in Questions About Hiring
Just leave the keycard on the desk and leave. If you want to "check out," the next morning, call the hotel to check out. Easy peasy.
