I know that I would not massage a monkey under current conditions.

Yeah Covid really isn't as over as we think it is. But I guess people have just decided that they don't care and don't want to wear masks or do social distancing.

Smarter how? Most of the time no one on here knows anything about the masseur anyway. The only way to find out if it’s a good fit is to call them on the phone and make an appointment like a grown up.

Hmmm… do you miss the massage? I don’t book one of my regular masseurs as often because it is becoming more heavy on the HE than the actual massage

I think that if you’re looking for therapeutic only massage then there’s probably more appropriate sites than Rentmasseur. Just look at the pictures on Rentmasseur, most of the masseurs are wearing very little and it’s clear that the service is more than a spa style massage. If you’re looking for therapeutic only on Rentmasseur you’ll not find it very easily.

Also if you equate a Grindr fuck with a session with a good escort or masseur then you’re not comparing like with like.

Apologies. I misread your use of Randy. 😄
Aside from and private showers and Quiet Room, people intermingle between changing, steam, sauna, the Jacuzzi liquid Petrie dish (Hot tub actually heavily chlorinated) garnished with cucumber ice rags… but I would not call it particularly cruisy. ) If you’re equally attractive to somebody else, YMMV. Occasionally the guys who blow dry their balls for 10 minutes  They see all.

    Conversation stays low.
In the hot tub and steam, you could go in, sit next to each other, and gauge risk of getting noticed under shield. You have no way of knowing who might report anything or not. Do you want to get tossed out…?
Go for this: Quality body work, and I request male, for broader forearm surface contact. Who knows? I might get the session that raises the standard from a woman. Three days = 3 sessions?  Repeat or rethink on bodyworkers?
You won’t regret - choose the closest, because you will be a noodle and want a short drive home. The stores have been refreshed while closed with more safety in mind (they said)
Even w pass, bring generous cash tip.
    It is a generous gift.

Love your tone @jeezifonly In my original post I did not state that I was looking for happy ending from a masseur at Burke. I am looking for a recommended masseur and a spa atmosphere where there is possibly some clandestine fun among the customers... You know, like what occurs at 24 Hour Fitness, A myriad of Korean Spas and any other spa where men congregate naked for a steam. I'm not ruining anything. Seems like you did that in your imagination though

I went early early on a Sunday earlier this year after my hot water heater broke. I last a few days but I finally needed a hot shower. I had to buy a service and went with a massage. Nice lady. but not the hot marine I had fantasized about being matched with.
The place on LaBrea was clean and the facilities were nice. I'm glad I went right when it opened; I was there for maybe two hours and the place was starting to fill up by the time I left.
If you book in advance you can probably request a male therapist.

It’s been discussed many times here before.
If you want “extras” “endings” “release” “mutual touch” you should NOT go to Burke Williams, or any other spa, like those at a resort or hotel.
It can get bodyworkers fired, and/or shut them down.
In LA there are a hundred or so private gay masseurs who will give you those services.
There are sex clubs where you can book a massage. Please do not ruin legit spas for the rest of us.

The correct price is what you can get someone to pay.
There are plenty of wealthy men in the US who are willing to shell-out big numbers for high quality service .
If you don't like the prices / don't shop there.

It’s the old principle of supply and demand. If the price is seen as too high, it will drive down demand.

I’m always surprised at the complaints over pricing. If you can’t afford it don’t buy it. No one is forcing you to buy the service.

Tactile Daddy reacted to Storm4U in LA Masseurs pushing their price point to the limit!!!
All of what's mentioned by @Swazca and @Daniel84.I no longer do massage in LA, but I did until very  recently but when I stopped my rates started at $180 and went up from there. I have seen multiple client guys on this forum mention that when they see a masseur, they expect  him to be able to host at a convenient and/or desirable location, and they want the masseur to host in a nice place. According to an Apartment List Rent Report, rent is up 17.6% in year over year increases overall. With that being said, a massage by a great massuer, in a desirable location, in a nice place is not going to be on the low end of a price range. Not to mention inflation making everything more expensive, gas, supplies, etc.  Masseurs have to factor all of that in, in order to make it worthwhile to even offer clients the service. It's a business.

I am really glad to see some on here looking at it from the masseurs perspective. I am not a masseur, but I am a CPA who has masseurs as my clients. Their costs escalate just like everything else. Since rent and gas are their primary expenses, most are just trying to cover increasing costs. It can't be all about us as clients, we need to be fair to them as well. I certainly don't mind paying for exceptional services.

I’m willing to pay the price depends on the experience of the masseur , I think an increment +20 , 180 to 200 is considered fair .

I've noticed tips are exxxtra huge lately so someone is doing something right. If we stopped judging masseurs off their pics and start judging off their resume and skills-- you'd be more.... relaxxxed  🤣

In Los Angeles $200 for a massage is the norm especially if you like massages with special attention. I think that’s a fair rate especially when you consider Los Angeles rent is extremely expensive.

It’s a figure of speech, I know, but if using it literally, “out of control”, relative to providers of personal services, can you please explain the mechanisms of “control” that have been breached? Somebody gonna shake down Huggy Bear? 😂

I’ve never had a masseur turn down drinks I offer them. It’s a genuine, kind gesture. Although it’s mostly just cold water in a bottle anyway. Sometimes coffee. I never offer alcoholic drinks to masseurs (read: masseurs, not escorts).
